I needed a 50 amp inlet installed for portable generator. Researched generators before I purchased one and decided I wanted to run it on natural gas. The guys at RAW were great. Not only did they install the inlet plug and show me how to run generator, they also installed a regulator on my gas line. I had no idea I needed one, but it fixed the gas line problem. If you’re thinking of installing a generator, look no further than RAW electric. I will definitely contact them for any future electrical work.

Martin at Raw Electrical helped us out in a stressful and urgent situation when our “drops” (main electrical wires) needed to be replaced from our meter to the transformer through our backyard. We lost power to our house and he was able to get us a reasonably priced quote and come out the next morning to replace the wires. The team was very helpful, professional & knowledgeable and we are grateful they were able to get us power back quickly. I highly recommend them and will be going back to them for any future electrical needs.

I had an emergency situation during a recent storm where a splice in the main power line running to the house was shorting out. Arthur Warren came over right away to assess the situation. He determined the lines had to be replaced to eliminate the splices. His team worked quickly to get the required permit and complete the work. I am impressed with their knowledge and customer service. I recommend that you call RAW Electrical Services to fix any electrical issues that need to be addressed.

I just want to say how incredibly impressed I was with the service I received from Raw Electrical Services. I wanted to have ovwr 20 light switches changed to smart switches within three days. Arthur worked back and forth with me to put together a quote over email within an hour. Their quote was the most competitive and they could get the work done within three days on the day I needed it so I proceeded.The electricians were very polite, on-time and did a great job, happily answering my questions. Not too long after they finished, I received a phone call from Arthur. He said that he was surprised how quickly the work was finished. He said based on how quickly the work was completed, he was only going to charge me half of the quoted amount! Who does that? Raw Electrical. What an amazing company! They have earned my business for good!

We cannot say enough good about Jim and RAW Electric!! We have used him for multiple projects in our home here in Georgetown and have recommended him to multiple friends but every time we need him he shows up.He shows up quickly, he is respectful, teaches us things about our house and is always affordable and clean!! So awesome!Today Jim was able to repair an outage in one of our lines… we had no idea where but lights were out and outlets were out but brackets were working. It was very strange but he was able to come over and walk with us through the issues and replace the pieces that needed replacing. Then he replaced an outlet and fixed a few other things while he was here. We just love RAW Electric! Thank you for your time and patience!!

Honest and down to earth folks I would recommend to anyone.Had Josh come over for consultations and small fixes around the house as one of our breakers was tripping more than usual, and as alway the best and most reasonable service was given. Thanks RAW for your honest service as always!Aug 2020: I called about 9 different places before settling with this company. They installed 2 outlets in my Garage (one 30 amps and one 50 amps) and going strong. Daniel did an amazing job. Martin was the person I originally spoke with and open honest as well. Unlike the other 9 places, I had all my questions answered on the phone and on-site and were straight and honest.

Called the guys over at RAW electric and Martin quoted me and installed my gas generator to back feeding my electrical panel box. The communication and installed was all during the cold/snow weather in February 2021. I was surprise the install would be on the same day and as professional as it was. The install was prompt and a very clean. A week later a different installer arrived to finish some detail work due to the shortage of material during the storm. Jose was also very knowledgeable and performed his task fast and clean. He was able to take some notes down for a quote to perform additional lighting routing around my house. He explain the process and install very well and made me comfortable with the future work I want. RAW electrical made a life long client and I’m very grateful for the services they provided during the storm to keep my family warm.Thank you to the entire RAW Electrical team!

My experience with RAW was fantastic. First things first Daniel was the electrician that came to my home. He was on time courteous and quick. He answered all of my questions (and there were a lot) as he walked me through everything with my new generator set up. Great experience.Martin was also extremely knowledgeable and helped me set up my system in the most efficient and cost effective way. He walked me through why my solution wasn’t the best and steered me towards a less expensive product that works much better. I’m and extremely happy with RAW and specifically Daniel and Martin. I will use them for all my electrical needs going forward. I have also recommended them to my neighbors interested in doing similar things with their generator.

I was looking for someone to install a new outdoor light on the second story of my home. New wiring and switch, etc. was required. I called three different companies and each came to my house to provide an estimate. Two were outrageous estimates in my mind. RAW sent Martin over a couple of days later. He walked me through several options and we decided on a new light with a wireless switch. The RAW estimate was much more in line with what I was thinking.About a week or so later...Martin, Jose and Josh arrived right on time at 8:30 and ran the new wiring in the attic and installed the new light. Took them a few hours just like they told me. All three guys were very polite and seemed eager to do a good job. They also installed a new heavy duty outdoor fan in a play area in the back yard. No mess when they were complete — swept up inside and out and took away all of the leftovers and garbage.I’ll certainly recommend RAW and call them again for any electrical needs. Martin was always easy to get in touch with and always answered my questions. All seemed honest and hard working.

I can’t speak highly enough about Raw Electric. Our A/C malfunctioned during the 110 degree days of summer and fried my entire electric panel. Knowing that we were without A/C, Raw Electric had someone out the next day for a complete panel swap out and we were back in business, and at a very reasonable price!!Fast forward a couple of weeks and I have an issue with my dryer 220. We had a few electricians come out and give us quotes to instal a Tesla charger, even electricians from the Tesla website. The other electricians wanted to make the job more difficult than it should have been. Martin from RAW came out and found easy access to our attic to be able to run the wire across our home without having to dig underground. As soon as he figured it he immediately had the job. He even walked around the house and answered all my questions and concerns. They even came the following morning to complete the job. He answered my phone calls and texts promptly. It’s hard to find such reliable contractors. Highly recommend Martin and his team!

I needed 5 updated smoke detectors that were interlinked per current code/ordinance in my area. I also needed covers to 3 electrical outlets. A different company quoted me almost two thousand dollars. I went for a second opinion and called RAW Electrical Services and spoke with Martin Campbell and thank God i did! He answered every question i had about codes and ordinances and long story short he did the work for less than one third of what i was going to be charged by another company.Martin was honest, knowledgeable, and made all that code/ordinance legal jargon very simple to understand. I ABSOLUTELY RECOMMEND hiring this company for any and all work that they do!!!

On a 95ﾟ Friday afternoon our home air conditioning unit went out. When the air conditioning people came out we found out that it was not our air conditioner but faulty wiring in our recently constructed home that caused the problem. At a time when most electrical services companies were closed, we were fortunate to find RAW electrical services online. Martin was absolutely fantastic as we spoke through the problem and he had me send pictures that helped us come up with a solution that saved us hundreds, if not thousands of dollars. Before sending Joshua out to do the work, he gave me an accurate quote. Within a few hours, Joshua had come out and completed the tricky work in an excellent way and he was a complete gentleman too! Not only did they arrive on time, but they were professional and helpful. I was having some fans mounted outside on my deck and was unsure exactly where to put them or how to power them, but they discussed the options and limitations with me, coming to a decision on the best way to do it. All the work was completed quickly and cleanly. Very happy with the service I received and will definitely refer friends and family to this company.

Polite and quickly diagnosed the problem as two circuit breakers in our panel dead from water getting in there from the recent bad rain. He bought the new breakers and installed them well and showed us how to close our circuit panel door better in future to prevent water from getting in in future. Raw Electric did a fantastic job on our home. We recently purchased our first home and come to find out the former owners had disconnected (or never ran) power to the main dryer outlet in our laundry room. Mind you, this was not found in the inspection either and everything LOOKED like it worked perfectly. Raw electric was able to fix this issue, install smoke alarms in every room and move our main breaker panel inside (previously located on exterior wall, dangerously close to the pool) for a very reasonable price. They were also efficient with their work. Will definitely use them for future repairs/upgrades and would recommend this company to anyone!

Coming from a family of electricians I could not be more impressed with the work RAW Electrical Services did. They were pulling new wiring for an outdoor container building from our offices and they made it look as if it was all originally done! NO hanging wires are cheap plastic conduit, etc. A truly professional job.They were the last quote as they were referred by a friend who has used them for years. Their quote was half of the highest and $150 less than the second closest for a great job! Aurthur came right out the day we requested the quote (a Friday). His team was in here finishing the work on Monday! And, they cleaned up completely once they were done.You cannot go wrong with these guys and they work all over Houston.

Landlord Friendly:As a landlord it is very important to work with someone who knows what they are doing, who knows what the codes are, who will give you a fair price, can be reached by phone, and can get in and get the job done right away. This is what Raw Electrical provided for me. Martin did not play games. I never felt like he was constantly trying to up-charge me. He listened and was sensitive to our concerns. In the end the tasks were completed with all inspectorsand we were pleasantly please with the cost in the end. We now have him on speed dial and will do business again with Raw Electrical.

Our office had an electrical issue with a compressor system that happened on a Friday afternoon and needed to be fixed before Saturday morning. I looked up 24 hour electrical services around Houston, one gave me an appointment for Saturday noon, the other for Tuesday morning! When I called Raw Electrical Services, they were willing to come right away! They were up front about their prices before coming in which was great and when their guy, Martin, showed up right on time, he took his time to go through the issue. The previous technician had told us several things had to be replaced to fix the issue with the compressor, but Martin through his diligent and methodical scrutiny of the problem found that none of those things needed to be replaced to fix the compressor, but a wire connection was loose. He was friendly, informative and explained everything to me. These guys are the best. I highly recommend them and I will keep using their services and referring them to others!

Exceptional service for portable generator hookup for whole home!!We wanted to have a full home stand-by generator installed but were unsure if we had the space for it in our townhome’s backyard.Having used RAW (Ready-Able- Willing) before for rewiring, adding outlets and a whole home surge protector among other things, we called Martin to assess the situation.He quickly ruled out the Generac we were considering because our yard is not deep enough to safely run it where we intended to.He suggested a portable generator; saying the right one would be sufficient for our needs.We had been looking at portable generators, just in case, and Martin said the one we were eyeing would be sufficient.Martin and his crew have installed quite a few generator hook-ups and he recommended placement for it that provided ample ventilation.He gave us a quote for the installation of our electrical inlet, interlock and NG quick connect as we wanted to use natural gas.Now, all we have to do is roll the generator out and hook it up!Martin and his crew were very open and communicative throughout the entire process.They were professional, friendly, competitively priced, and most of all, they did an outstanding job.I would highly recommend them for generator set up and will continue to use them for any future projects.

The electrician arrived to my house right on time, he was extremely respectful, helpful, and was able to solve my problem in a timely manner. The office staff is reliable and responsive. I highly recommend them and will use RAW Electrical Services again in the future.

Thank you Martin for sending out someone to replace our breaker panel/box. It was replace the same day I called and in a timely manor. They both were great, in explaining everything that needed to be done and what the process would be in changing out the box. Daniel gave me time to shut everything down just before turning off the power to our house. We were up and running with our A/C in no time. Both were very nice and polite! I also believe the price was very reasonable! Thank you Lord Jesus for your guidance throughout all of this and giving us people that really do seem to care. Thanks again!
