Very happy with this company. I tried to purchase a furnace from Schwantes Heating and Cooling in Stillwater, and was ready to finance a new furnace unit with them however, they were not willing to speak with my home warranty company regarding my furnaces diagnosis, so I could receive reimbursement for repairs. Not only was Hurlburt willing to do that for me, they responded promptly to my service request and had a new furnace installed in a matter of days. Their technicians and sale person were great to work with. A special thanks to salesman Eric who, after everything was installed and paid for, took the time to send me a photo of my old furnaces serial number that I forgot to submit to warranty company. Hurburt was extremely helpful across the board and very friendly. I will use them again when my A.C. dies next summer.

Our air conditioner went out over the weekend and I reached out this morning and was able to get on the schedule same day, which is huge! Our technician, Colten, was on time, very friendly, and was incredibly knowledgeable! He explained what the issue was and went over pricing with me before just going ahead and doing the repair, which I thought was so wonderful since a lot of places just replace things without discussing and you can kind of end up sticker shocked.The repair was completed in less than an hour and we are back to a cooled down house! He came by and did a through job with checking the furnace + thermostat + air conditioner inside + outside (hosing it down) + the water softner (refilled this, very heavy bags) + added some freon to top of the a/c b/ it was running low. He also reviewed the thermostat settings for efficiency and checked temperature inside and provided endless tips and education on how to get better cooling for the summer!! Recently (last Saturday) our water heater went out at our house. It was a holiday weekend, not an emergency so I waited til Monday morning to request service. I was pleasantly surprised with the whole experience with Hurlburt. Hurlburt across the board every encounter was amazing and excellent customer service!! If you are looking, look to Hurlburt. It started with Nora who answered the phone and helped through getting the appointment They were able to send out Adam to come and assess, do water testing etc. He explained to me the different options we had, after the testing explained the results, very educational and great service. They also would have been able to do an install THAT DAY, but we have a bigger water heater that they wouldn’t have until the next day. Nora called to let me know and schedule for the next day. Adam and Lucas showed up early and reached out to let us know. They were amazing! Efficient, thorough, clean, attention to detail, overall fantastic.

The problem began on Sunday. I was suppose to replace the bathroom sink before our family reunion. It started with not being able to turn off the 40 year old shut off valves to the sink. Not a problem I’ll just turn off the water for the house, attach the lines for the new sink and turn the water back on. I did not relieve the pressure in the house though. Of course the lines from the old sink were as corroded as the valves and when I pulled to release them the pressure in the house line was free to spray under the sink. After the clean up I decided to replace the valves under the sink.The next morning I called Hurlburt. I explain the situation and they understood completely. They scheduled a service person right away and emailed a confirmation with an approximate arrival time of late that same day. Shortly after 1:00pm the service man arrived looked over the project and gave me an estimate. I agreed to the cost and the service work began. In less than two hours the valves and faucet were installed and the water was back on for the whole house. I paid the invoice to the service man and the job was completed.Thankyou Haulburt for a job well done and much appreciated!

Nick Jacobson with Hurlburt Plumbing and crew were so professional, timely and completed installing our basement plumbing quickly while thinking of ways to improve our whole system in our 1920s house. They did away with the old unused pipes and put in shut offs where there weren’t any,, rearranged the laundry and water softener to save space and give us more storage. He fit a new half bath in to a very tiny space. He also answered all our questions and concerns. We are so thankful to have had a great crew to work with. Thank you Nick!

My experience with Hurlburt has been nothing short of great. The staff who took my appointment were friendly and professional- I was able to have someone come out next day! Before arriving, I received a text with a photo and bio of the technician I should expect. Kegan arrived and asked questions to help understand a long standing issue we had regarding sewer gas. He was able to identify the cause and fixed it same day. He described what he was doing throughly and ensured I was comfortable prior to proceeding. It’s been a a few days and the issue has not reoccurred. I’m grateful for their service.

We were only 6 days into our newly purchased home, and the air stopped working during a very hot week of moving. Hurlburt was very prompt with their customer service, they managed to fit us in ahead of the time they thought they could. Mike Biel gave us a courtesy call to let us know his ETA, and he very quickly troubleshooted a botched wiring job, inspected the furnace, checked our AC, and even identified a LP leak from our tank on his way back to the van. Our furnace broke down on later Saturday night. Got a few recommendations from our neighbors. Hurlburt was the only on that answered the phone on a Sunday. They would have come out that day, but we had a fireplace and was ok to wait. Jasmine scheduled a tech to come out first thing Monday morning. Jasmine was wonderful to work with on the phone. Mike came out first thing Monday morning. Mike looked over our furnace and explained to me in detail what was happening. Long story short, my wife and I decided we wanted to get a new furnace. There was no kind of sales pressure at all from Adam, he is a great guy. Pao came out the next day and instead the new furnace in no time at all. Pao did a fantastic job. We had a great experience with Hurlburt! We had a furnace, ac and water heater installed. Jordan did our initial visit and quote and the communication from first day to install date was top notch. It’s a big expense so we got quotes from 4 different companies and Hurlburt was the best deal and honestly was the only one to give such a personalized experience. Jordan walked me through all our options and was super responsive to my endless questions and requests for changes to the quotes. We wanted to make sure we were getting the best deal we could while also getting a good product. Cody, Austin and Ethan did the furnace and ac. They were all very friendly, kept me informed of how things were going and walked me through everything at the end. They showed up exactly when they said they would and had it all done in just under 5 hours. Kegan and his partner (forgot his name!) showed up to do the water heater right as the first team was wrapping up. Same as the first crew, super friendly and worked fast! Huge shout out to Hurlburt Heating & Plumbing!!On Saturday I mentioned to Brandon that it felt like our AC wasnt working as well as normal. We chalked it up to the high temperature outside and went about our day. By night, the AC was still not keeping up and we knew something more was wrong.I called Hurlburt on Sunday morning at 930a (the ladies in their office are SO awesome) and their technician Dean was at my home by 1p! The service call was quick and not the news we wanted to hear.They quickly set us up with an appointment to go over our options with Dylan. He was so kind and very knowledgeable!! By Tuesday we had purchased our new furnace/AC system. They also credited the cost of our Sunday service call, gave us a Veteran discount and took care of all the rebates for us.Through this mildly unexpected and (pretty damn) expensive issue, they have been amazing! Would highly recommend if you ever find yourself in a similar situation!Also, to help cover the cost, going forward, there will be a $20 per person cover charge for stepping on our property.

The first tech who came to troubleshoot our water heater was very nice, professional and cleaned up after himself. Many folks in the past just figure it’s no big deal since it doesn’t work anyways and leave a mess until they come back. First time, Shawn repaired the 14-year-old electric water heater to bring it up to code. Took care of it super fast. Flushed out the electric water heater, checked on the functionality of the water softener. All within 1.5 hours. He missed fixing a bad wiring connection we had asked for though. Then water heater started constantly tripping breaker. He came back second time to fix the wiring he missed first time, but left and the water heater still kept tripping the breaker. Determined it was likely faulty heating element/thermostat. At this point, we decided to just get a new water heater, even though we already dumped $400 into old one. Still gave him five stars because he prioritized our new water heater to get it fixed within 24 hours even though he was booked out for 5 days.Also installed New AC with them. Very impressed with how they really try to go above and beyond with us.

We woke up to a furnace not running on a Sunday in February. Hurlburt got someone (Paul) out here the same day; I called around 7:30am, and he got here about 12:30pm. Paul was knowledgeable, efficient, and very professional, and got our furnace working in under an hour. There was a premium for a Sunday after hours call, but I didnt feel it was excessive.The Hurlburt scheduling system is pretty awesome. Right after I called, I got an email and text saying which phone number Id get notified by when their tech was on the way, and then that notification included a picture of who they were sending. These are the details that really take service to the next level.

Mike was very professional. He told me everything that he had to do to fix the gas leak we had going to our stove. He checked and double checked what all needed to be done. After completing the repair. He double checked his work and checked it once more infront of me so I could see that what he did was good.
