The guys were very polite and well mannered. Logan explained things and answered my questions thoroughly. Around 3:30 pm, as they were trying to finish up; they started rushing. The last thing they did was install two new return vents. The vents were not fitting just right. A “new” guy had showed up; he was the one forcing the vents into place. Messed them up, along with my walls. If it had not been for that guy, I would have given Trahan a five star rating.

Very knowledgeable and they listen to what you have to say. Explain things to you more than once. I’m planning on using this business. Brader came in my home as a Professional technician and salesman Measure each room, ductwork, vents, he started explaining to me some calculations about the old unit wasn’t performing the way it should have. show me brochure on new Trane units. He explained Tons, Seer, new longer plenum, bigger ductwork, new return air system,Warranty, performance of the new unit, and I felt really comfortable how things was going. I went into the office and spoke with Johnny and told him my situation, that really put the icing on the cake.Trahan treat you with dignity and respect.I did purchase a Trane Deluxe 4 ton AC unit. I recommend TRAHAN AC & HEATING to anyone. They go above and beyond to help there customers.On 8/30/23 Ryan and Jason install my new unit.They done a great job installing unit and picking up behind themselves.On 9/5/23 Brader came by to check the performance of the new unit and discovered something wasn’t quite right he diagnose the problem and had part in van and fix I on spot.9/8/23 Brader, Mark,and Sebastian came do a air balance monitor on each vent and found some rooms had more air flow than other. Brader, Mark, Sebastian communicated great together to get each room balanced properly. I really appreciate service of TRAHAN AIR CONDITIONER & HEATINGOn 9/16/23 I call into the office told Mrs Rhonda my situation and she said no problem I get a technician out. Dale Rocket Jr. Found the problem and fix it very quickly and made sure everything was working properly before leaving.I call to the office thinking something was wrong with my new unit that I purchased in August of 2023. The appointment was scheduled for technician Reilly Guidry to come out, Reilly call me and ask what the problem, the problem was fix over the phone. Thanks Reilly for your expertise over the phone.On 5/25/2024 I call Trahan Air Conditioner and I spoke with two different secretaries I told her that I was having some problems with my AC unit not cooling and she immediately said I will get someone out there soon. Dale Rockett Jr the Technician called and said he would be about 20 minutes I’m in route to your address. Dale immediately ask what the problem I told him AC unit was cooling the house he went check outside unit and determine that the problem was in the attic. He got busy trouble shooting the problem and Dale found the problem Blower and circuit board was the issue. Dale told me I will have you back up and running tonight. Dale also recommended that I get a Surge Protector installed as well he told me all the reason why.I told him yes, So Dale went get new parts for Trane 4 ton Deluxe. I Just want to let Dale know he done a remarkable job and I really appreciate him explaining everything from start to finish and the house is nice and cold, The family slept like a baby Thanks to Trahan Air Conditioner Service and Technician Dale Rockett JrOn 6/20/2024 I call to the office to report that my AC unit wasn’t cooling it was 85 degrees in my house I also spoke with Brader about my situation. Technician Dale Rocket Jr came out and resolve the matter quickly and I had cold air before he left my house, also he told me that they will replace all parts with new parts because they stand behind there words and warranty. So I think Dale J Rocket and Trahan AC again for coming rescue me againOn 9/20/2024 Timothy Lyons came to my home Saturday to check out my Trane AC unit bcuz during the hurricane on 9/11/2024 my AC unit was bogging down every time it would come on. I was on Generac generator power, so I wanted a soft start on my AC unit to stop the bogging down and he explain everything in detail how a soft start works he is very knowledgeable and easy to talk with I will get a soft start order. Thanks Timothy Lyons for give me the knowledge and understanding on a soft start. Thanks Trahan for sending out a great Technician.

We had Trahans come out to replace all our duct work and add another return. Absolutely great experience from start to finish. From the techs who came out to walk down the job, the ladies I spoke with in the office, to the install team everyone was so polite and quick to get back with me and answer any questions I had. The install team was a group of the nicest guys. They were laughing and joking the whole time and made sure to completely clean up after themselves. I can’t recommend them enough!!

Trahans came out yesterday and did some work for my landlord in the home that I live in. The difference between the climate is like night and day. But the real service standout for me were the two gentlemen who came to do the work. Ryan and Jason are their names and they were professional, friendly, and answered any and all questions that I had and I had a lot. They did a top-tier job all together. They worked quickly, making quite a mess, which was to be expected, however, they did prepare beforehand by laying pads on my floor to protect it and then very thoroughly cleaning everything up when they were done. My landlord and myself are very satisfied with the work that was done and the customer service was exceptional. Highly recommend.

Outstanding service and technician (Sebastien Champagne). AC was out, I managed to get it going, but it dropped out again. Acted like an electrical connection problem and my messing with the water pan sensor allowed it to get a connection for a few minutes. Rewiring that sensor didnt solve it, so Trahans was the quickest appointment we could get (had no previous experience with anyone in the area, fairly new camp owner). Anyhow, Sebastien let us know when he would arrive, actually listened to what limited troubleshooting I had done, crawled through the rafters with no complaints whatsoever, and diagnosed a bad 60 amp breaker in the evaporator box in just a few minutes. Due to the impact of the recent storm, he only had a 30 amp in his truck, but he installed it and it solved the problem. He then contacted another tech who was relatively close, met him 1/2 way, grabbed a 60 amp, returned and installed it. The original breaker had been replaced by someone prior our purchase, and the wires werent stripped correctly, they were poorly inserted into the receptacle areas, and at some point the float switch had gone out and it had just been disconnected with the wires laying in the pan. I watched for my own future reference, and Sebastien trimmed and properly stripped the wires, installed a new float switch and wired it up, then blew out the drain lines and gave them an enzyme treatment. Very professional and efficient, price was considerably less than I expected (or was willing to pay for a cool nights sleep), and we purchased their service plan while he was here.

The initial installer seems to know what he is doing but needs to slow down and ask the customer’s expectation prior to starting the work. The customer doesn’t care about a “blame game” when something isn’t right. They just want expectations met. Very polite, friendly, professional, just slow down and have the right conversations!!!!! After initial issues I was visited by Kenneth who did a great job remediating the initial concern. Tory is the reason we purchased and agreed to a new install through Trahans. His previous visits have always been honest and professional. He followed up on all the secondary issues not addressed during initial installment and brought some innovation to the table to make it work.The only reason this review isn’t five stars is the young installer has a little to learn but believe the overall team is great!!!!!

I called this morning (Sunday) to request service on my unit. Jacob is the tech that I have been dealing with & he told me that you guys would keep me “cool” if needed until my new unit was installed. The lady on the phone was very professional & personable. A couple hours later I received a phone call from Dale. I explained to Dale what my unit was doing & what I had done so far. I also explained that I was getting a new unit from Trahan’s on Thursday of this week & that I just needed my old unit to last until Thursday. Dale was great - he asked me to turn my blower on and let it run in case I had ice that had built up etc. I did so. When he arrived he checked the unit and diagnosed a bad capacitor & a little low on Freon. He installed the new capacitor & added a little Freon. This was just done a little while ago. The unit seems to be cooling the house down now. Hopefully this will last until the new unit is installed on Thursday. Dale was a great young man to work with just like Jacob. Thanks

Long story short, we ordered a new AC system from another AC company about 6 years ago. When I called that company today to request service on the fairly new unit they sold me, I was told Thursday after lunch was the soonest they could get to me, in June, in Louisiana, two days from now!I decided to call Trahans because we have never been happy with the service from the company who installed the system. Not only did Trahans send someone over IMMEDIATELY, thank you, Tate, they set us up on a service contract so this fairly simple issue would not happen to us again as it has almost every summer since buying the new unit!!EDIT: Due to issues no one could control, we ended up having to have all of the ductwork ripped out and new installed today. Trahans did an absolutely AMAZING job and has us cool yet again! Dont hesitate to call and have confidence. They will get the job done the right way every time!UPDATE: Our systems control board went out recently and Trahans ordered us a new one and sent the techs out multiple times ro help us keep cool until the board could be replaced by Jacob tday. As always, he was fast, efficient and so polite. Still loving Trahans and I recommend them to anyone who needs ac services.Forgot to mention, Timothy was the initial contact for that repair and he too was amazing. He rerouted my unit to still work until the part could come in and be installed. All of these guys are truly wonderful!UPDATE: This company truly never lets us down! Today, Ken came by for maintenance and was friendly, professional amd thorough with his work. He explained what we need to do next and bid me a great day. Still very pleased with Trahans and I will continue to sing their praises!!Update #2: Today, Kenny came to do our service plan visit and I appreciate so very much the time and care he displayed while explaining things about my unit, specific to our needs. He was patient and extremely knowledgeable. Trahans has truly never let us down! So thankful for reliable, trustworthy local service!
