    We called Al Terry after we realized our hot water heater wasn’t working on Wed. 8/7. We were put on the schedule for first thing Friday morning and Dillon and Warren quickly diagnosed the problem. After reviewing our options with us we scheduled a follow up appointment for Wednesday 8/14 to install a Rinnai 199 tankless water heater to replace our original unit. Evan and Alex arrived on time (early even), were courteous and respectful of our home and worked all day (8-5) to install the new unit. We are very satisfied with our overall experience including the office staff member Pandora and would highly recommend Al Terry Plumbing & Heating to anyone looking for prompt, professional service. Including a picture of our new system for reference.

    Five star service!!! Pandora is awesome dispatching and appointment setting! Kyle is A+ technically and explains and answers all my questions in terms general people can understand! Kyle had made me feel empowered in identifying and understanding how all my plumbing and heating works as the systems I have are very efficient and future oriented. I joined their VIP club for savings and priority future service...we always need to be prepared for the unexpected. Kyle ordered the special parts needed for my system and his work was efficient and neat. Al Terry and staff I definitely recommend for sure and trust me I am very critical! Thank you!!!!

    Had been 9 weeks with out heat in our home. Had tried to work with the provider that installed the 4 year old furnace and after 8 weeks still no heat (in November) Kyle arrived promptly as scheduled. Was able to diagnose and correct poor installation from 4 years ago that caused the issue and we now have heat! Never going to anyone but Al Terry again !!

    My first experience with this vendor. They saved me from my own mistake - I bought a toilet that wouldn’t fit into the space due to interference with the supply line.They suggested choices (including moving the supply line) and wound up going to the vendor (Sink and Spout) to get an a toilet that fit.Disaster averted, and both vendors took care of business. Well done ATPH!

    Last Friday (11/15) i woke up to my furnace not working, luckily I was able to call in the morning and we had a tech at the house by 2, problem seemed to have been solved by the time i got home at 630pm, but just after the techs left the expansion tank went and then caused the furnace to steam up almost my whole basement causing the fire alarm in the basement to go off, i called back and told them i needed them back to fix whatever happened.Brayden was our tech and he was very knowledgeable overall and upfront about explaining what he was doing to my wife, but wasnt too familiar it seemed with our boiler and asked of we had the manual (to which we have no clue where it would be).I had a scheduled cleaning for this past Tuesday and that was no issue.I was surprised, that they came out twice in one day, to see a full double emergency billing along with the scheduled cleaning.I appreciate the urgency and customer care provided and will continue to use ATPH, i was just surprised by the invoice given the situation.

    After scheduling a technician six days out for a repair/replacement of a broken outdoor spigot I received a call saying if a technician could come arrive in an hour. Outstanding service! Kyle was courteous and replaced the spigot. Only issue was the price of the spigot. Labor was reasonable being a Diamond Club member but the cost of the spigot was what puts a damper on my overall enthusiasm.

    An update 2/15/24: used Al Terry again, and this time for a pretty big job, which was a steam furnace replacement. As usual, Al Terry exceeded my expectations. The replacing of the furnace was just the half of it. I could not believe how much work was done exterior to the furnace itself. They replaced all the connecting heating pipes, they replaced the venting pipes, replaced the thermostat, removed an outdated emergency shut off switch at the top of my basement stairs, and replaced other stuff that I just dont know the names of those parts. They also provided me with space heaters for the 3 days that the furnace would be out of commission. Some days there were anywhere from two to four technicians working on the furnace install. Braden and Jeff were the two technicians I dealt with most often and they were extremely nice, professional and a pleasure to deal with. Again, every time Al Terry does work for me they always exceed my expectations. Like with this furnace install, you think theyre just going to install a new furnace, but its so much more than that...it blew me away. Obviously Im going to always use them for my plumbing needs, and why Ive been a diamond club member for a long long time. Thanks Al Terry.-----This is at least the 10th time Ive used Al Terry Plumbing in the last 10-20 years. Each time I believe Ive had a different technician from them, but each and every time the work is always been excellent. That is, they do quality work, theyre always on time, their professional, and their prices are a very competitive. The most recent technician Dylan was excellent as well--pleasant, answered various questions I had. His assistant Drake was pleasant and professional as well. What originally was going to be a toilet repair turned out to be a toilet replacement. I figured since its a replacement theyll probably have to come back another day but no they did it almost immediately. The only extra time they took was to go and get a new toilet, which really didnt take that long. And as always it was installed quickly, flawlessly and it looks great. Thanks!

    Our water heater began to leak after just over 3 years. Al Terry techs were out here the next business day. They diagnosed the issue and advised us the system needed to be replaced. They had a new system installed within a few hours and it was fully covered under warranty. 🤑🤑

    Update.I don’t see the tech that always come to my rescue on the list. Great work. He installed my dishwasher and my fridge and my garbage disposal. How could I ask for better. He’s knowledgeable efficient and honest.Update: I have had nothing but great service all around from this company. Today they fixed an issue that will potentially cost me some more cash but, homeownership! The two guys that serviced my furnace were fast, efficient, knew what they were doing and werent trying to overcharge me. Fixed half the problem then gave me solutions to fix the bigger issue. Told me in language I understood, what was wrong a potentially the outcomes if not addressed.Al Terry on speed dial.I thought Id wait a bit to see if the installation and all the work they did really was great. It has been about a month. Ive painfully had to put the heat on a few times. I always thought it was just a noisy furnace. I was wrong. Now It doesnt make any loud noises, it almost purrs. My water heater, I didnt know it could be that quiet. I hear no more noise, the water heater is great and dang my furnace is acting brand new. Cant believe I waited so long. Thanks Travis and crew, you gave me such peace of mind. Ill be calling again for some other work and have recommended you to friends already .

    Our experience with Al Terry plumbing was wonderful from the moment we called them to come out to diagnose our heating system failure. Our heating system failed 2 days before the worst cold snap in recent history. Kyle came out the same day, he was polite and honest. Our next interaction was with Nick, the comfort specialist. Nick was professional, his whole demeanor was calm, he walked us through what was needed, he gave us options, he was not pushy and was such a pleasant person to deal with. We also received a quotes from other local companies and Al Terry was very competitive. Devin and his crew did our oil burning furnace and hot water tank install. Those guys worked so hard to get us up and running. The installation was crisp and clean. We do not regret choosing Al Terry plumbing and heating. I hope no one in our family has to experience losing heat and hot water in the middle of winter, in subzero temps, but if they do Im recommending Al Terry!

    We replaced our old oil burner with a propane furnace for heat and hot water. Al Terrys crews did excellent work, as did the back office in scheduling around the work being done by our propane supplier. Everything was well explained, too. Because of the timing issues, we would have been without hot water for five days, so Al Terry provided us with a temporary electric water heater at no extra charge.

    Excellent experience booking online, getting a call to explain the issue, getting a text with the timeframe we discussed, then getting another text to confirm when within that time they would arrive and that it still worked with my schedule. The two employees arrived promptly, were respectful of my space, went just down the road to get the right tool, then came back and fixed the issue right away. They pointed out a very slow leak to the water tank that I had already noticed and discussed with the real estate agent when I looked at renting the place, but otherwise got the heat working again very quickly and its still going strong. So much better than the tiny space heater I had to use after the natural gas seemed to run out after I signed up for a rate change with Liberty utilities in Londonderry! Im glad I did, but wonder if that caused the issue I was experiencing, since the hot water was still working well. Seemed to be that the change in fuel really tested the old boiler for the forced hot air, because ultimately it seemed to be a very easy fix and Ive noticed less rattling and more consistent heat since they stopped by.     I am so very pleased with the visit today. Kyle and Justin were excellent. They fixed a leaky toilet, a pipe leak from the toilet, checked to make sure my sewer connection to the house was good as a past winter a root knocked it off center and checked to make sure my heat tape was working.     A few months ago we decided to replace our boiler and started the search for a plumber to do the job. We called 8 plumbers, of which all called back and set up appointments and only 2 showed up. Of those 2 only one seemed to know what they were talking about but their price was ridiculous. Finally we decided to call Al Terry Plumbing. What a remarkable difference. The next day we had their rep over to spec out our system. One day later we had a quotation which was very reasonable and we decided to purchase. They started installation 2 days later (remarkable!!!!!). Their install team of Geoffrey and Noland showed up on time, were very knowledgeable and did the relatively complex installation. Afterword Geoffrey walked me through the system, answered all of my questions, and left the place cleaner then in the beginning. Geoffrey and Noland were first rate 5 star! Dealing with Al Terry was like a breath of fresh air. It is a real organization not just some guy working out of his house. Their response time is awesome, their price was VERY good and the people were great. They will be my plumber of choice from now on.

    I dont usually write reviews, but our recent experience with Al Terry warrants one. Weve been in our house 18 years and I didnt want to put AC units in the windows one more year. We have forced hot air with a propane furnace so I wanted to explore central AC. Knowing our furnace was 25 years old, I figured we should probably replace that too. We got quotes from a few different places. Dillon from Al Terry came up with the best solution and value by far, working with me on all the options, and finding us significant rebate $ through NH Saves, even helping with 0% financing. We went with a Bosch furnace and heat pump combo which should save us significant propane $, while providing excellent heating and cooling. The install went smoothly with Moe and Kyle (both excellent) until they hit a snag with the thermostat wiring which had been buried when the house was built. Dillon stepped back in to come up with a wireless option. Ive found that something is always bound to go wrong with anything like this and its the way the company and the individuals react that makes me want to keep doing business with them. Im a bit of a tech geek and the wireless thermostat that got installed was lacking to the Nest unit I had been accustomed to. Dillon again came up with a great solution and a wireless thermostat that we are very happy with, installing it himself to make sure we were happy with everything, and submitting the NH Saves paperwork for us. All in all a great experience. I highly recommend that you give Al Terry a call for any HVAC needs and make sure you ask for Dillon!

Shortly thereafter, I realized the thermostat wasnt the issue. Geoff was the second Al Terry employee to visit my home in the same day. He was extremely professional and very easy going even though it was after 6PM and he had worked all day. He checked out the system and determined it was the circulator. He replaced it and charged me the difference between what I had already paid and the cost for the new part/service. This was extremely fair given the circumstances. Al Terry did the right thing when they didnt fix the issue the first time around. They also made sure to get someone out the same day.

    Technicians were professional, punctual and extremely knowledgeable. They cleaned up after themselves and kept us informed as they worked. They gave us easy instructions on how to use the remotes for the mini splits units. They always asked if they needed to use anything like a broom and rake and always put things back when finished. I would recommend them for any type of install you might need.

    We had another plumber come and decided we wanted someone else to help figure out whats wrong with our kitchen sink drain. After tons of effort, trial and errors, Al Terry finally made our sink work!!! Everyone was stumped and we got tons of what if we do this & well future wise youre gonna wanna do that but our tech from Al Terry was hard working, to the point and on it. He was super nice and explained everything he did and was gonna do. Listened to mu stories and was just an all around great technician. Will definitely be using this company again for future repairs!!! Thanks again guys. We havent been more happy to have our sink in working order!!     Incredibly pleased with DEVIN RUSH and BRADEN HODGKINS! Original heating system about 25 yrs old. Removing old, installing new bound to be problems and there were, one right after another. Devin was diligent in finding a way to correct each problem and wouldnt give up until a resolution was found. Now, to me, thats pride, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.     I was very pleased that the service techs arrived time, their attention to detail and explaining what needed to be done and how fast the job was done. They left the workspace without a trace of them being there (except, of course, that the leak was fixed).I felt I was treated with respect and understanding and was very pleased with the final results of the work. Al Terry employs some of the nicest and most competent professionals I have had to deal with. Pricewise they may come out on the higher end of a comparison, but so will their work and the final result. This is a case of you get what you pay for and I will gladly have them come next time I have a problem.

    Justin was amazing! Super professional, knowledgeable and just a real nice guy. I had my parents puppy here (dog-sitting) and my toddler running around being a kid and he was so accommodating and understanding of the manageable “chaos” that comes with that lol.     Installation of a 5 Unit Samsung Mini Split system and compressor. Big job, with care taken to put the units right where I wanted them inside the house. They ran the lines outside keeping in mind my HOA and exterior appearance.
