    Very happy with our decision to work with Toledo Basement Repair. No one wants to deal with a water damaged basement but with their help, we are now set up to prevent headaches down the line.From our original consultation through project completion everything was easy. Communications were timely and informative throughout. We worked with two different crews and both were professional, friendly and hard working (Jason, DJ, Samuel, Mark, Jason and the rest of the crew).Most importantly the end results all seem great.     Toledo Basement Repair installed a complete waterproofing system at my home in 2022 and just completed installing underground downspouts and window wells to address some warranty issues we experienced in 2024, but overall I have been very satisfied with the level of professionalism and quality I have received over the years. Alyssa has been very helpful in educating us and quoting work to be completed in a no-pressure way (a way that doesn’t make you feel pressured to immediately order work quoted), Everette has been helpful in clearly communicating scheduling for work to be completed, Cory and Jason were both great leaders of their teams that came to install the work at my home, and JD was very helpful in performing PM on the system and helping to correct some minor warranty items that came up. I would highly recommend Toledo Basement Repair to help address water issues in your home.

    I contacted Toledo Basement to inspect a basement with drainage tile issues. Alyssa came out and did a very thorough inspection and advised how to go about remedies. The whole outfit from office to the techs that do the work are just unbelievable!! Alyssa is unbelievably knowledgeable. They look at the job as if it is their home and the best way to remedy the situation. They also did mold remediation that was just as great of a service. The whole experience was unreal.     We were very happy with the work that Toledo Basement Repair did in our basement. Joe was very responsive to all of our questions. He provided us with a quote and told what needed to be addressed ASAP versus what we could wait on. We felt that the prices were very fair as well.     This is the second time that I had Toledo Basement Repair come out and do work at my house. And just like the first time, everyone from the Project Manager to the Service Crew were absolutely amazing. I had them install a sump pump discharge pipe through my basement wall because my original one caved in that I put in myself 25 years ago. They were friendly and professional and I highly recommend them!

    My installation experience with Toledo Basement Repair was A+. The team included Charles, Jeremiah and David for day two. They installed a sump pump, dehumidifier, replaced some rotten floor joist in my crawl and mold mitigation. Charles explained everything they were going to do before and stopped in between each installation to explain what they did and show me pictures. It was supposed to take three days but they were done in two. They covered my flooring, cleaned behind themselves and exhibited professionalism throughout the process. I would highly recommend Toledo Basement Repair hands down. I had my previous home waterproofed by one of the competitors and I would choose Toledo Basement Repair over and over again. They are top notch!

    We decided to work with Toledo Basement for a recent partial interior waterproofing project to address water seeping through our foundation. Toledo Basement was excellent to work with from the initial quote process through project completion.Joe thoroughly explained the quote and project options and was quick to respond, allowing us to move the project forward promptly. Our estimated start date was mid-June 2024, but they impressively started a month ahead of schedule and completed the project in just two days.The install crew, including the project manager and site supervisor Charles, were fantastic. They kept us updated on their arrival times, daily goals, and end-of-day status. Charles did an exceptional job ensuring the basement and work area were clean each day and upon project completion.     Realizing that we had to have our basement waterproofed has been the biggest blow yet as a first time home buyer, but the team at Toledo Basement Repair has made the process as reassuring as possible. Alyssa, our sales consultant, was knowledgeable, thorough and transparent. She helped us pick the system right for our situation and budget and has diligently answered any follow-up questions Ive had. Corbin, our team lead, and his team as a whole were exceptional. They went above and beyond to make sure that the rest of our house was screened off, our stairs were covered, etc. If you didnt know what to look for you wouldnt have even known they were there; even in the front yard where they had to dig the trench, the sod was cut with care and delicately replaced. Corbin provided detailed daily updates and I felt comfortable working elsewhere while they were in my home. With our new system in place our basement remains dry even in the wettest season on record. In a time when reviews can be bought, I truly believe that Toledo Basement Repair has earned every 5-star review they have and they would be my only choice if I need any further work.

    Great job! Alyssa was very attentive in answering our questions through the quoting and contracting phase. Big projects require a lot of correspondence! The on-site gentlemen were friendly and able to pivot when this old house gave them surprises. We did have to caulk the inside and outside of the Drainage tube ourselves, but really an overall fine job done. We would definitely recommend them. Very reasonably priced as well :-)

    Had a crawlspace encapsulation over the course of 3 days. Crew was very professional and timely. Excellent communication about when they would arrive and finish work.     WOW, AMAZING. My husband and I had bowed walls in our basement with cracking in the bricks. We had one estimate by another company who’s salesman was pretty arrogant so we decided against them. We called Toledo Basement Repair and got Joe who was friendly, nice, knew his stuff. So we went with this company. Our team was Josh, Charles, Isreal, Jason and DJ. Josh was our team leader, always smiled, so friendly and polite. He explained every night when done what they did and what to expect the next day, They asked everynight if we had any questions. Charles did as well. All of them worked in rain, hail, very cold temps and they worked very hard. Couldn’t believe it. They were in mud up to their necks and maintained a great attitude all respecting and keeping our entryway to the basement clean with a runner. If you have to have this kind of work done you wont be sorry in chosing them. The owner better take care of these guys they represent this company well.     From the onsite estimate meeting to sweeping away the dirt on the sidewalk at the end of the job, the team at Toledo Basement Repair were wonderful.     We had a great experience with this company. Everyone on the job from the team lead Jason to the crew were great. They answered questions and made sure we understood what they were doing. They also addressed problems that came up in a timely manner. They worked as clean as they could and cleaned up the site at the end of evey day. Our crawl space is now in much better condition. They moved a wall back in place, reinforced it with steel beams, put in a drainage system and sump pump, and finally an new vapor barrier, insulation and a dehumidifier. It was a big project that they handled like the pros they are.

    I cant say enough about our experience with Toledo Basement Repair who we used to recently have an egress window installed. Terry who came to do the initial quote was thorough and on point, all of the information we received prior to the job was very helpful, and the crew that came out was amazing. Samuel and Mark (I didnt catch it but I think that was his name) did quality work, were very professional, cleaned up their entire work space both, and were just all around great people. I work both remote, and in an office, and Samuel did a great job of keeping me informed about when they would be there making noise so that I could make sure that it didnt impact my work. Without us having to say anything, they noticed we have dogs and blocked off the entire work space so that they didnt wander in and get hurt. Looking at it now, youd have no idea they were even here, thats how thoroughly they cleaned up afterwards. They even washed off my driveway when they were done. Another local company was here before and left dust and dirt everywhere throughout the entire house when they were finished. Do yourself a favor and use these guys for any of your basement repair needs, you wont regret it.

Nonetheless, Corbin and his crew showed up everyday and gave it their best. Everette was not pushy and worked with me to try to cut the overall cost of things that I could do (end work, finish the inside framing work and such).     Our basement walls were in pretty bad shape, but Toledo Basement Repair did an incredible job. Kevin began by giving us two different routes for repair and helped us weigh our options. The crew on-site, Corey and Jason and another two, worked to straighten the walls and install steel I-beams, new waterproofing and sump pumps, as well as repair our crawl space. The walls were shifted and cracked, and upon digging up the dirt outside, they found the drain tile in bad shape. Corey and Jason were great to work with!     TBR recently performed an interior waterproofing job in my basement. They began on Monday and the job was completed the following Monday. Project leader Corey and Jason were here every day as promised and were never pulled away to other projects, as often happens with contractors dealing with worker shortages. They worked hard and answered every question and concern I had. There were also other hard working crew on the job as needed at different phases of the job. I appreciate the hard work of all of them. Two days after the job was completed, this entire region was pounded by an ice storm with heavy rains. Trees and branches took down power lines. We were without power for two days. My basement stayed dry. TBRs work passed a very difficult test.

    I cant say enough good things about John Thomas and his crew (Chuck, Anthony and David) and I didnt get the name of the young man that helped dig the trench. It was a challenging job because the floor was thicker than normal, but in spite of it, they were very thorough. It took them longer than normal, but were still conscienceous of their work. Every morning John communicated with me and answered any questions I had. His knowledge gave me confidence which lowered my stress level.     This is a professional company focused on customer service, with the technical skills to back it up.We hired them to fix some water issues in our crawl space. I wont dwell too much on the technical aspects. Suffice it to say, they did the job right. Laid tile all around the interior perimeter, with cleanouts at the corners and middle, sump pump, etc. Its a system that will keep our crawl dry for years.But what really makes this company shine is their customer service. It started with the sale. Joe took over an hour to explain the issues in detail, and went over all the options we had. He was cool me with doing some of the work myself, and leaving the heavy lifting to them (I cleaned up the debris and bagged it for them to save a dollar, and they agreed to take the trash with them).Then shortly before the job started, Everett did a nice job communicating when they would be starting, how long the job would take, and some last minute details.The crew that came out was polite and courteous (John, Willie, Ty and Joey). It says a lot that my wife felt perfectly comfortable letting them in our house while I was gone. They were even friendly with the kids as they worked. They were on-time every day, and didnt complain about working in a crawl (sidenote - it sucks).The part that really impressed me was the detailed cleanup. Some companies will skip this or cut corners. Not these guys - each and every day they laid down runners to protect our hardwood. Each and every day they picked up the runners and swept up the dirt they tracked out of the crawl. They swept off the driveway, and even checked the walls for dirt!These guys know how to win a customer over. If we ever have any crawl related issues in the future, theyll be our go to.

    We had water in our basement due to iron bacteria (ochre) build up on our existing draintile. Toledo Basement replaced the old draintile in a third of the basement where there was a problem and flushed entire system including pipe to storm sewer. They also replaced one of two sump pumps and addressed miscellaneous related plumbing issues.They were very responsive when we first contacted them, and had someone out quickly to evaluate the situation and provide a quote. Their price was competitive and were able to get us on the schedule within a month.The job was obviously very messy, but the crew did a great job of keeping the mess confined, laid protective coverings throughout as they hauled materials in and out of the basement, and did a fantastic cleanup job at the end. The crew lead, John, was an excellent communicator. He explained what they were doing throughout the process, notified us when they found unexpected situations, and had good suggestions to address them as we went along.The installed system will require ongoing maintenance in order to keep the iron bacteria under control. The crew has been very helpful in explaining what we can do to minimize future problems. We would hire this contractor again.

She took the time to explain our issue and provide a suggested corrective action that included installing a new grate drain system in the home.
