    Ben Johnson from Dyess air and plumbing has just finished installing a new water heater I purchased from Home Depot. He did an excellent job and was very careful with the the installation of the new tank as well as the removal of the old tank. Ben was courteous, personable and answered all my questions about the new tank, which has more features than the old one including more safety features and wifi monitoring. I’ve used Dyess in the past for HVAC service and will certainly be using them again.

    We had to replace a 2 ton AC unit that died after 18 years. Russ K. came out and surveyed the situation, provided a competitive quote, and had us back up in less than a week. The crew consisted of William, Daniel, and John. They were great to work with and you almost didnt know they were here. Cleanup was superb, and the unit worked beautifully, and much quieter than the old one. They did everything they said they would, and more. We got competitive quotes from other companies as well, but they all had issues that kept us from using them from pricing, to lack of knowledge, to lack of follow up. I highly recommend the team at Dyess Air on Hilton Head.

    I was having issues with my AC. Previous installer did not do a good job to say the least. Dyess scheduled me right away to have it checked by their professional. Kaleb came to assess the situation and gave a full diagnosis of what all was wrong. Kaleb was well spoken and set the bar for being a polite professional. He provided exactly what I asked for when setting up the appointment. Very satisfied with Dyess.

    I personally wasn’t there, but my brother and nephew were. They told me that he did a great job and was very thorough with his work. He had to cut through grout to get the toilet loose from the floor. That’s something that he shouldn’t had to do. Then he removed all the grout from the toilet. Probably not something a lot of people would have done. That’s a good man. In my opinion he should get some time off with pay or something. Will definitely ask for him when we need help again. Happy to know that there are people like him out there doing their best. God is good!

    Jerry did a wonderful job performing the semi-annual maintenance on my 2 HVAC units. As part of the maintenance, he did a fabulous job of cleaning the accumulated leaves and debris from the interior of the units. These units are over 5 years old and they look like new!

Quickly identified the issue (clogged line in the inside unit) and got our unit working. Thanks Wesley for going above and beyond.12/09/21 - Ryan did a great job of answering my questions and clarifying. He was very informative and very knowledgeable in what he was doing. He did put back everything back in order took time to explain the issue and how he logically approached it.I will come back and update the review after repair is complete. As far as the price they refused to take the cost for diagnostics even though the repair was going to be done by them. The price of refrigerant ($100/ lb while another charged $90) or any repair seem to non negotiable. That was a bit disappointing truly.I decided to have the company come back and do the repair because of my confidence inRyan’s professionalism, attitude, knowledge and integrity.

    Terrance and his assistant were both knowledgable and experienced at their scope of work needed to they required to do a first rate job of installing and testing the tankless hot water heater supplied by me. I had no idea how to get into it and change it, James C arrived on time and in less than 2 minutes he removed the old batteries and assured us they were unnecessary - the thermostat is wired into the home electrical circuit. I was able to find a company out of network and located Dyess through Google search. Ryan made it out Saturday afternoon and got my AC unit running in no time. He was very friendly and knowledgeable.
