    HHI Builders is the real deal! 6 contractors met with us, but only 2 followed up with proposals. Steve provided a detailed proposal and worked with us until we were completely happy. Our renovation included a full kitchen, full bathroom, partial bath, front entry, and lots of interior painting. HHI met our budget and timeline, and kept us informed throughout the project. The team is very knowledgeable and guided us through the process of making the many selections needed. We’re thrilled with the results!

    My Kitchen Reno was everything I hoped it would be. They did the process with using all the required permits, which was very important to me. I knew what I wanted and Steve provided exactly that. Workers were polite, clean and work was completed in the timeframe we agreed on. I will use them again for any home improvements that I complete.

    HHI has to be one of the most thorough, meticulous and communicative contractors on the Island. No scope is too big for their team to take on.     Steve and his team at HHI Builders did a an excellent job to help us design and construct a full interior renovation of our 30+ year old house. His team was responsive, very knowledgeable and the construction management tool he used was a great way to communicate and stay organized. HHI took care of all of the permits and understood was was required with the town. The end result was terrific !!!

    Remodeling a house from a distance is a challenge at best, thankfully we were connected with HHI-Builders as they made the process so easy. We completed an entire home remodel including new carpeting, painting, electrical work, recessed lighting and ceiling fans, exterior lighting, down to the studs renovations on 5 bathrooms, painting of kitchen and bath cabinets, completion of a garage renovation and so many smaller items. HHI-Builders treated our home like it was their own, pointing out ideas along the way to really complete the look. They completed punch list items quickly and even found some items above and beyond our list they wanted to improve upon. The project started on time and finished on time, providing all at a very reasonable cost. They did a great job with communication on progress, sending pictures along the way. We could not be happier with the final results and would strongly recommend hiring this company no matter what your remodel project size in the Hilton Head Island area.

    This company was wonderful to work with. They responded immediately to any questions I had, any updates I asked for, and any small repair I had, even after completion. He kept within my budget. I highly recommend them to anyone wanting a general contractor or anyone wanting to do a remodel.He took my vision of a complete remodel and executed it beautifully. As a result of this companys work, I was able to put this unit on the market which commanded the highest price sold in the condo complex.

    HHI Builders continually went above and beyond to ensure that the total renovation of our Villa was perfect! As we live four hours from our beautiful vacation Villa, Steve sent updated pictures on a regular basis to show us the progress of construction. We were in regular, almost daily, communication with Steve via phone calls and email. He kept us apprised of every detail of the renovation. The estimate for the renovation was accurate and when I made changes along the way, Steve provided the updated price in a timely manner. He offered suggestions for modifications to my original design which were great improvements to the renovation. His knowledge and expertise are remarkable and he was able to guide me through the renovation process, always with kindness and patience! In addition, those that work for him are experts in their craft and took great care in the renovation. All were polite, respectful and worked diligently to complete our Villa to like-new condition! I highly recommend Steve Young and his company for any of your construction needs!

    We just finished our first renovation project with this crew and I cannot recommend them enough. From the start, Steve was very responsive, scheduling a walk thru of the projects I had in mind within 24 hours of my first contact with him. He was very knowledgeable and considerate and listened to every detail I was looking for in a small bathroom remodel and fireplace reface. The crew were very polite as we were home the whole time they worked, and allowed me to be as involved in the design/project as I wanted. Steve made himself available throughout the entire project as well. For example, the guys started putting in a tile I picked out and once it was on the wall, I immediately hated it. Within an hour, Steve had the tile removed and replaced. I could not be happier with the finished product and the quality of work delivered. We cannot wait to update the rest of the house and work with this crew again!!

    We had a great experience with Steve Young and his team at HHI Builders. Not only was all their work of high quality done in a timely and professional manner, but all members of the HHI Team were always very easy to work with and easy to communicate with at all times. During renovation, which lasted about 5 months, the HHI team kept us updated at every step of the remodel and even met with us on each of our visits to Hilton Head Island during this process. I would highly recommend HHI Builders to anyone considering building or remodeling their home in Sea Pines or elsewhere on Hilton Head Island.

    HHI remodeled one end of our house last Spring. They redid three bedrooms and changed a jack and Jill bath into two separate baths. Floors, walls, fixtures and plumbing and electrical. All very high quality workmanship. We are very happy with the results and they finished on time and on budget.
