Thomas and his assistant were again excellent. Very professional and did an outstanding job communicating what they were doing and the changes they were making to the system. They have now restored my water treatment system to a better condition than when I bought my house, and I expect 20 years of additional service life based on the work they did restoring the multimedia, softener, and brine tank. Note the new clack valves, too. Very reliable and easy to configure and monitor!

The technicians were great. The job took a longer time to fix than anticipated. They discovered that the well pump failed. It required replacement. They didnt have a replacement with them and had to acquire one from a dealer an hour away. They took the time to go get the replacement and then drive back the same day so that I could get finally get some water flowing back into the house after having gone without it for 4 days. I appreciated their efforts

Great, people,work, and very respectful. I called National Water Service about a water tank that I had a previous company that installed and was defective. Called previous company again and same thing defective tank. While he was here the first time he cracked the water line going to the well and stated he was not going to repair the line and didnt know when he could get back out here. I called National Water Service and had an appointment with Heather. She came out soon after and inspected the situation and called her associates and they got a plan together and totally took care of the whole situation with total professionalism and respect with great results. At a very reasonable price. Would totally recommend this company for ANY project with water issues.

I called on a Sunday afternoon after my well pump quit working. John answered the phone and someone was there within an hour. Daniel carefully assessed the situation and determined that my well pump was not functioning. He then went on to see if he would be able to make the repair. After determining what would need to be done is to replace the water pump, he let me know that he would have a crew at my house first thing in the morning. They notified me that they were on their way before 9am the next day and by 12:00pm my was water flowing. I’ve been a National Water Service costumer for 25 years and that will continue. They are timely, professional , and their employees are knowledgeable in service and repairs. If you’re on well water and want to improve the water quality and maintain your equipment call National Water Service.

Punctual, courteous service. As a Senior, I appreciated your patience explaining to my daughter and me the process and chemicals required for maintenance of our water treatment. Currently, with additional family in the household, this will be necessary more frequently, so acquiring some to-it-yourself knowledge was appreciated. The tech even explained the components in our local well-water and the impact on our tropical fish and graciously endured our recording the service visit for future reference.

On time and very professional, after our well pump failed they replaced the 5GPM glouds with a 10 gpm franklin. Pump cost ~1600 but came with a 5 yr warranty. Was able to knock the job out in 2 hrs @ $275 per hour which I thought was very fair. Opted for them to do a follow up and their tech Paul did a fantastic job explaining how to take care of our well equipment and did some yearly maintenance.Only complaint is that they did not tell us about how the law requires that they shock the well with Chlorine and that requires running a hose to bleed that out.

Prompt and professional. They pick up the phone when you call, they come and fix and install. Cleanup everything and explain options. They not only did the entire plumbing on my basement finishing project, they also replaced 2 water heaters and ran hot water recirculation with 3 loops and relocated and upgraded my RO tank allowing me to get filtered water to all my fridges and pot filler! Other guys were scared to even quote this work! Its all in a days work for these guys!

Excellent company, in every occasion. The owner, David knows his trade very well. They are not only very professional but also ethical. On a Mother’s Day morning I got no water. Called their emergency line and left a message. They got back to me quickly, and dispatched Dennis. He is hell of a guy! Dennis quickly diagnosed the problem by following his methodology. Problem was our 25 year old well pump, and he replaced the pump by himself from a 300+ feet well. Rain storm didn’t slow him down a bit. Very high quality and careful workmanship. No playing around, they got the results. They have been maintaining my well water for over 4 years and every interaction is to the point, a service or maintenance call is 99% completed at that day. I also admire seeing great employees learning a trade here, and owner sharing his knowledge and experience. Great locally owned business, thank you!

We got Dave’s name as a referral from Kendall’s Hardware. He’s a master plumber and he truly is. He did a thorough examination of the problem and came up with a plan. They followed through with that plan a week or so later (it was a two day) it was successful. The best part was how he listened to us and didn’t assume he already knew. Highly recommend National Water Service! I had no idea what we were getting into when we bought a home with a well and the water tested high for radon. Heather and David at National Water Service were beyond helpful with our inquiries about how to remove radon from our water. Excellent and timely communication via phone and email. Detailed explanation of all options for radon water mitigation and what would be best suited for our well. Site visits both before and after installation. On the day of install, the team arrived on time and were polite, knowledgeable, hard working and set our system up perfectly. At the end of install, the entire team stood in our basement and walked us through the new system. They answered every question, sometimes twice, and when they left we felt comfortable knowing what to do in case of an emergency, how the radon mitigation system works and what to monitor for, when to add salt to our conditioner and how to change our sediment filter. David came back at our house after install, checking the system, again answering any question, and then checked our water for radon and we are happy to know there is none. I highly recommend National Water Service for all your well needs. I will even be using them to install waterers for our horses soon. Do it right the first time, use National Water Service.

I have used them for over 10 years when we have had issues with our well. Twice the issues occurred on a Sunday and each time their service was prompt, their technicians friendly and competent and their prices reasonable. I don’t usually ‘enjoy’ having to make an emergency service call, but I really did have a pleasant customer experience this last time. While waking up to no water is never a pleasant prospect, they make restoration of service easy. As a kicker, they use a tracking app for dispatch that lets you know when the person will arrive by sending texts and emails if you choose it. All in all one of the top mechanical service experiences I’ve ever had. They definitely have a lifelong customer here.

To my surprise, the gentleman tested our pH, nitrates levels, how much junk or sediments there were in our water - something that had not been done before with the other company. He was helpful and provided information on how to change our water filter and said that their company website had tutorials on how to do that ourselves. National Water Service replaced my old outdated well water filtration and conditioning system with a more reliable system that is easy to maintain. I just had them drop-off 4 gallons of Sodium Hydroxide that I add to the chemical tank. This tank greatly helps to maintain my pH at 7.0 (an ideal neutral water setting). They deliver the chemical for free and provide a handy carrying case for managing the 4 1-gallon jugs. Their technicians are very knowledgeable and helpful, both in person and over the phone when you have a question. I highly-recommend their services.

You guys are absolutely fantastic. Slight problem and noticed some film build up on glass shower enclosures, called Barbara this morning and you guys came right over along with sending send me a text link confirming the appointment. Did several tests, and made an adjustment to solve the problem. Before hiring national Water Service, as you know, i did A tremendous amount of research and met with several companies. Dave was the only person that did the necessary water tests, gave us a solution, and didn’t over sell us on equipment, like the other companies i met with. Further you met my 3 day deadline. Ensured and performed a completely neat install and answered any question that i had. The installers were completely knowledgeable and advised me on some of the plumbing work that was done by my subs and had solutions for all my pervious concern. Matt explained the options to stop the leak and was able to schedule the technician to come and fix the leak in very short time. Was able to send email with pics and, received automated text/email messages for appointment, during technicians dispatch and job completion in timely manner. These kept us informed of service which was helpful.The Technician Pat was courteous, knowledgeable, organized and ensured the site was clean before leaving. He fixed the leak and during the system service, tested for drinking water and provided/explained the results. He also explained the particulars of filtration system and how it worked, which helped us change some setting to suit our requirements. The charges were also accurate based on service provided. So I really like my water company. I had my annual service last week for my system. The technician didn’t address my radon unit during the appointment. So when I completed the survey, I noted that the guy was nice, but questioned why the unit requires a yearly inspection to hold the warranty, if it doesnt need to be touched. Within 20 mins the owner called me and thanked me for bringing it to his attention. He said he takes his customer satisfaction seriously....4/5 stars means that something can be corrected. He will send out another tech to perform the 4 point inspection that should have happened😊. National Water Service. The customer service can not be beat.

Have a well and haven’t had one since I was a kid- and never in MD. After going through a couple of dishwashers and a hot water heater , NWS advised we had hard water- and installed a softener and we no longer have orange build up and our appliances are not being replaced constantly. Our well pump went out while we were on vacation and NWS came in the same day and fixed it while we were away. Then recently the electric to the pump went out due to old wiring, called first thing in the morning and we had water again within a few hours. Much appreciate how responsive they are, how knowledgeable and friendly their team is.

Before I write this review, I want to be clear that two months ago, I did not know David or anything about this Water company. I was referred to this water company for well water testing from a local Radon Air Mitigation company. From the beginning when I met the owner David for the initial well water testing, throughout the whole process of installing Radon Water Mitigation (most wells have high Radon in the water), to the continuous Anti-Bacteria System, to sediment filtration, to creating a water room in my house, was an excellent process. All of my existing water equipment consisting of our water softener/neutralizing system, hot water heater, and reverse osmosis system was moved to this new room. Everything about the crew of four with John as the lead installer, including Dave (2nd Dave - not David the owner) as co-lead, to Jarvis, and Joe was a very positive experience. They arrived timely, they worked diligently over a two day period, they answered my questions as I had them, and my family was happy with the results. Everything was explained to me, however because of the newness of the equipment, I did have some follow up questions that were always answered very quickly and in great detail by David the owner. David knows his water, and can answer every single question that you can throw at him. I now have the cleanest drinking water, free of Radon and Bacteria. Cannot get over how fresh the laundry now smells. If anyone is looking for clean water free of Radon and Bacteria and Sediment, as well as systems that neutralize water hardness (hard water destroys plumbing fixtures), this company is the company to call. Thank you David and your entire team, for my very healthy water. Looking forward to working with you in the future for the minimal maintenance that will be required of all of my water equipment.

Dave walked me through how to slow the leaks down by turning off some valves so we were able to avoid a basement flood. The next day we had a team out to troubleshoot and restore water for us. They continued to work with us the next day, as our well wasnt filling properly. The well pump was replaced and we are back in business! Lengthy review follows, but if you want the condensed version then it is this: You WILL NOT find a better company for all of your plumbing and water needs. National Water is a pleasure to work with and it is absolutely apparent that their number one priority is providing excellent service while treating their customers like friends/family. Advice to other people needing water service - DO NOT waste your time calling other companies. Call National Water instead - you will receive top notch work AND fair pricing.Full review: New to the area and finding ourselves with a very big water issue (main line from well burst), we felt we had little choice but to reach out to the company who had come out to our home to replace the well pump in late November. That company has been around for a very long time and I truly believe that they continue to receive the majority of their business because they are known. When they came to our home in November, we had air in the line. They immediately told us it was due to a broken well pump. However, when they pulled the pump, the pump was in fact working, but the backflow valve above the pump was broken. Not once did they say it could be due to a break/hole in a pipe. They replaced the pump and were on their way ($2875). Now fast forward 2 months and we have a dramatic drop in pressure. We called them to assess the issue. They came out and said that a pipe was in fact leaking (my husband had indicated to them that he was concerned that was the case). They dug for 2 hours, using copper rods to identify the location of the leak. We have now come to understand that copper rods is a voodoo technique and is not used by reputable water companies as a means for determining leak location. After 2 hours of digging and rod manipulation, they said that they could not find the leak and would need to bring in a backhoe. They had no problem charging $405 for this complete waste of time. I should add that water was bubbling up from cracks in the driveway, however they were digging 20 feet away on the opposite side of the lawn because their rods were telling them this is it. Company left us without water for days (four kids and dogs) and lied telling us that they placed an emergency order with Ms. Utility (a quick call and we learned there was no order pending). Upon discovering that they were lying, we frantically searched for a reputable company to help. National Water responded almost immediately. They came to our house at 5:30pm and confirmed a leak in the main line (as my husband had suspected all along). National Water was so empathetic and genuinely concerned with making sure we were as comfortable as possible until the fix could be addressed. They set us up with temporary water (by attaching directly at the well head) and continued to keep us in the loop. They brought the backhoe out on Sunday and returned on Monday to start the work. Their total price for complete replacement of the line was LESS than the other company (as Harry Potter would say he who should not be named) by more than $1500. The other company was trying to push us to pull a new line which after doing our own research, we discovered that there is inherent risks associated with line pulling. Each of the different associates of National Water that we have interacted with have been an absolute pleasure. They have taken care of the smallest details and have even offered information that can save us money. Bottom line, this company is TOP NOTCH. They desire to build a solid reputation rather than line their pockets and wait for the next unsuspecting sucker. A company who cares for their customers in this way are few and far between these days. Other companies need to take note - National Water Service has the stellar reviews because they do not compromise. TRUST is everything and National Water is absolutely a company you can trust. We feel blessed to have found such an amazing company that we feel like are friends. Thank you National Water for going above and beyond.

NWS is the BEST! Once a year the courteous service man provides total assessment of the tap water, empties the 5 gallon reservoir of clean water, changes the 4 filters, cleans out the area under the sink where the system lives, and restarts the system. He patiently shows me where the turn-off spigot is (since I forget from year to year), and checks the now filtered water - which is amazingly much cleaner than the city tap water. He is very efficient and pleasant. I am then set for the next year. I not only drink the filtered water, but also cook with it - coffee, pasta, tea, vegetables all taste much better with the filtered water.RCH from DC

National Water installed a new Reverse Osmosis (RO) system in my home last week. They were professional, showed up on time, were very easy to work with and the price was right! I could immediately tell the difference between my tap water, which has this metallic/chemical taste to it and the RO water, which was clean, fresh and reminded me of the water I had as a child. Even my 15 year old dog, who is suffering from bladder cancer, and refuses to drink water much anymore, drank an entire bowl of the RO water almost immediately. I finally decided to get one of these Reverse Osmosis systems installed in my house for my teenage boys, they drink tons of water all day long. With the lockdown we drink even more water now. Matt sent two of the employees to setup our new RO system, they guys were professional, kind and efficient. They asked a few questions and went to work, just about an hour later, we had a professional setup of this Reverse osmosis system that removes contaminants from unfiltered water, the water used to smell even after we filtered it. David Rycke engineered a water treatment system to neutralize my acidic well water and to filter out sediment. The system minimizes piping, routes water through the appropriate meters, and avoids sending untreated acidic water through copper pipes.Workers, John and Joe, arrived on time and efficiently installed and tested the system. They made 2 minor adjustments in response to my suggestions. John identified key system components and showed me how to make minor adjustments, to replenish neutralizer, and to change filters.The result is a professionally looking and functioning filtering and water treatment system that removes unwanted sediment and raises the acidic well water with a pH of 6.0 to a healthy neutral pH of 7.2. It will be easy to perform minor tasks (replenishing neutralizer, replace filters, and adjusting chemical feed rate) between annual National Water System visits. One dilutes the solution with water directly piped to the solution tank. To make the job even easier, they left a supply of filters and concentrated neutralizer solution.
