My experience with Muscatello Electrical was positive from start to finish. Mike Muscatello was highly recommended by a friend who said they do excellent work at a fair price and are nice people. I found that to be true.What makes Muscatello Electrical special ?1) Their price was the most reasonable (not the lowest) for a full house re-wire. The lowest price was from someone who did electrical work on the side without a permit. The highest price was from a Havertown company known for price gouging and high-pressure sales.2) The quality of work was outstanding. Mike Muscatello and his men are very skilled electricians. Ed and Pete did most of the work at my home. The owner Mike even came to help finish the job to meet a deadline that was important for me to have the work completed by. A few examples:- They were able to re-wire receptables that another electrician said would not be possible because the attic air conditioner was in the way or because of the sloping ceiling/roof.- They hard wired my front and back stairwells with 3-way switches. Another company wanted to take a short-cut by hard wiring one group of switches and then use battery operated switches for the others.- Flood lights were re-wired. This was not an easy task but completed successfully.- Wires were routed from the basement to the attic via a closet. Wires are tucked away neatly in the wall and are not visible. The men even left a feeder wire in-case I need to pull more wires through the chasm in the future.- The men cleaned-up daily. The spackling that was done was so good that I only needed to do a light sanding before I painted. I did not need to hire painters; the end result looks beautiful.- The company gave me typed detailed panel ledgers.3) Very nice people. Colleen Muscatello, Mike’s wife and office manager, is helpful and kind-just a peach. Calls were answered on the spot or voice/email messages were promptly returned. Mike Muscatello is very professional, positive with a can-do attitude, very skilled, and wants his customers to be 100% satisfied. Mike hires men like himself: professional, very skilled, pleasant, and positive with a can -do attitude.This is the second home that I am fully renovating and from my experience hiring many contractors, Muscatello Electrical is in the top 1% of contractors I have ever hired. It was my great good fortune that I found this company. If you need electrical work, I would highly recommend Muscatello Electrical. This is a company that exceeds your expectations!

We had two outdoor sconces installed a few weeks ago. The team was responsive, quick to provide a detailed proposal/quote and a short lead time to install. They were on time, efficient, clean and accommodating to our needs. The finished and we noticed the right light was barely off to the naked eye (1/8 or less) - we called and they came back a few days later to correct. I Would definitely recommend and hire again.

Muscatello came out for a free estimate, gave me a very simple quote for wiring a portable backup generator that can power the entire houses essential appliances during power outage. Their quote was very reasonable, no belts and whistles, but included everything other companies considered extras. On the day of the job, the two technicians were on time, worked hard for the whole day, did a great job, nice and clean. Payment was easy with Venmo. Colleen was super nice and responsive. Great experience!

Muscatello Electrical installed 6 recessed lights in the living room, installed a 240V 50amp line in the garage for a car charger, and install a hard-wired Ring door bell. They are friendly, efficient and neat, very professional. Everything went as estimated and planned. No surprise charges or unexpected hassle. Also most other electricians charges to come out to my house for an estimates. Muscatello gave free estimates. Some electricians told me this is a tough job because the 240 line needs to go through under the kitchen sink, blah, blah and their purpose is to ask for an unreasonable high price that I felt being robbed. Muscatellos estimate price is very fair and very reasonable. I felt very comfortable and confident with them doing the job. My neighbors recommended Muscatello to me. I will be sure recommend Muscatello to others.

We bought a new home on the main line and needed to remove knob and tube wiring before we moved in. We got 2 quotes initially; the first said it was no big deal and then ghosted us. The second says it would be of a disaster of a job and gave us a very expensive quote. We then had Mike Muscatello come in and are so glad we did. He was very matter of fact, professional, knowledgable, with a very competitive quote. His team was able to start the job quickly, showed up reliably, kept the house very clean during the process, maintained communication, and were flexible when we decided to add additional work (dimmers, high hats, etc). I was so anxious about this job as other electricians had told me to expect hundreds of holes and made me feel like the costs were unpredictable and likely to balloon.Working with Muscatello Electrical was such a good experience from start to finish. Thank you so much for helping us make our home safer and providing such a seamless experience.I really liked Mike from the estimate visit because he was very straightforward (while others seemed to use showy scare tactics). The estimate was black and white- a quantitative, itemized count of what would need to be done and how much each one cost. Shocked to say that we actually saved $2k off the final bill because a few circuits ended up not needing to be doneEverything was very well-organized. Colleen coordinated with us in advance on timing, permits, etc. and I cant say enough about how great Mike and his team were. They were here for 2 weeks. We knew what to expect each day - who was coming, at what time, what they were doing. My husband and I both work from home and we have 2 dogs so thought it would maybe be chaotic. But it went so smoothly. The team was very punctual, professional (covering the floors and cleaning up after themselves) and friendly but so respectful, with hardly any impact on our work from home schedules.They went out of there way to minimize damage to our walls e.g., they routed wires from the basement to the second floor via an old floor to ceiling built in in the cabinet, so its not even visible. There were not nearly as many holes as I expected overall, and they patched them well enough that I was able to just take care of the sanding and painting myself vs. hiring someone professionally.So happy this job is behind us, but would highly recommend for others looking to get rid of their knob and tube.
