Yesterday I contacted Valley Electric about some strange electrical issues I was having. They could have sent a technician out and changed me a service call. Instead, they recognized that the issues were probably on the supply side and suggested I contact my power provider.My power provider realized that the issue was theirs. It has been temporarily fixed as a second crew will need to come out to fix it properly. I had up to 8 people working on this issue for about 8 hours. Since this is a power company issue, it is going to cost me nothing.This says a lot about Valley Electric. They could have easily made a few bucks off of me but decided to do the right thing instead and provided excellent customer service.

Got in a tough spot with our first renters moving into our house. When Dominion turned the power back on to start their service the breaker blew. I called 12 electricians to get someone in there that night so the elderly couple we rented too wouldn’t go without power. No one could come out to Mount Solon that quick but Dave was fantastic! He went first thing in the morning and spent most of his day trying to fix our problem and get the power back on. He was communicative, caring, and very easy to work with. I couldn’t sing higher praises! Highly recommend Valley Electric for all your electrical needs!

In 27 years of being a homeowner, one of the most positive repair experiences I’ve ever had. David was thorough, personable, and totally knowledgeable about his work. My ceiling fan/light fixture wasn’t working at all, and he tested every wire, the neutral, the sockets, and the light switch to see if they were working, replaced some plastic pieces in the fan, and got everything running again. However, the fan was still making a slight clattering noise, so he detached it from the ceiling, removed a piece of paper from inside and felt around some more, then reattached it to the ceiling. The fan is now whirling almost silently above me, giving off the most delicious cool breeze. I will definitely be giving them all my electrical business from now on.
