Van delivered excellent service and has competitive pricingI needed my main shutoff replaced and he quoted a price that was about 50 dollars cheaper than a big name plumbing company (mr.plumber). I also like that you communicate with him through his work phone making the process a lot easier. He was able to assess price and material need from the pictures I texted him of my basement. The other plumber you had to have them drive out and they quoted a more expensive price not to mention I couldn’t directly get in contact with any of their plumbers only their secretary.Van is very nice, not pushy with upsells and efficient

If I could write a book on this guy and his professionalism it still would not be enough. This is a long post but its worth anyone who is not sure on how to choose a plumber. I was referred to Van from another friend. I had a sewer line backup and the county said it was on my side. I could not find a clean out in my yard, therefore the snake was used in the basement toilet. I called van on 730pm Friday night . He arrived shortly hereafter. He did not charge an emergency fee like other plumbers. Van also gives free estimates, while some plumbers will charge you just to come out and somehow deduct the free estimate after the plumber completes the work. When he told me the prices it was around 815pm. I said to Van he can come back tomorrow since it was late. He requested to compete the work that night!! He worked for hours and brought in a bigger snake that morning because my job was really bad. 5 stars is not enough. VAN deserves 10 STARS!!!

Mr. Van has been extremely helpful since we used his services over the past month or so. He came out almost immediately to determine why we had a leak coming from our upstairs bathroom to the first floor. He determined that piping needed replacement as well as the toilet. He explained everything as well as pricing and options. He then did the work very well at a reasonable price. About a week or so later, we had another leak. Again, Mr. Van came very soon after and determined that it was residual leaking from a pipe that attached to the prior work done. He replaced the pipe and worked thoroughly to repair everything without cost or complaint.The next week we had a leak coming from the shower and Mr. Van came the next day and determined that the shower drain needed replacement. He gave a fair price and replaced it. Afterward, when there was still a leak, he spent time thoroughly working to resolve the issue and stayed until he was sure it was fixed. He also listened to my other concerns around the house and property and offered services for them in the future.Mr. Van is professional, patient and thorough. He’s fair and direct without being pushy or aggressive. He was great to work with and we recommend him highly for any plumbing needs.

Called Van about our clogged sink in a panic. He volunteered to help us the same evening! He quoted me a very reasonable price after determining the problem and he began work. While under the sink he notice 2 problems unrelated to the clogged sink, a leaking disposal, a broken gasket and the disposal was not installed properly causing it to run very loudly. Van took the time to repair the problems and with no additional charge. My wife and I really appreciated his thoughtfulness. We have scheduled additional work with Van as we update bathrooms and other projects.Great job Van...thank you.

Van Plumbing is great; I used his company a couple of times; I have some properties with frozen, broken water lines and burse old sewer pipes; Van completed the jobs without problem with a fair price. Good quality new copper pipes used for the water lines. He worked Saturday and Sunday to finish all the tasks. Van installed a half bath plumbing at a reasonable price. The Van staff also fixed the gas line leaks, changed out steel gas pipes, and pulled the Baltimore gas permit with a fair price. Excellent effort, way to go.

Van is fantastic. Late night on a weekend (of course) main sewer line blockage in our house. He arrived within 15 minutes of speaking with him. He was polite, professional, clean, and got the job done in very short order. You can’t imagine what it’s like to wake up and have sewage covering your entire basement. We called a restoration cO and recommended Van Plumbing what a great decision he was incredible at everything we needed to have fixed This gentleman was good at every plumbing need and we needed everything he put in our new hot water tank all updated pipes our house is 50 years old we needed everything updated because it was sewage we had to replace subpump hot water tank he made a new design so it no longer sat on the floor we could clean under the tank. His pipe work was beautiful he had to put all and I do mean all new pipes. He was here when he said he would be here he was the quickest worker he never stopped. There are not enough words to say he took outdated subpump brought it up to 2023 with back ups pump a beeper that now goes off if the pump stops working. We are so up to date and protected with backup everything. He is a good man a hard worker he never stopped. It’s like God sent us an Angel do not hesitate to use theGentlemen he’s incredible.

As an unfortunate Christmas Eve special, when DMV area received over 2 inches of rain, the sump pump quit working and flooded the basement. Luckily we have an unfinished basement and we have only the HVAC and water heater in there. We had over 16 inches in the basement!Luckily we got a recommendation for Van and we called him on Christmas morning. He promised to be here by 10 AM the next day. And sure enough he arrived by 9:30 AM with his wife.He quickly assessed the situation and for to work right away - took out the old sump pump, installed a temporary pump to drain all the water (enough to fill a swimming pool), and then install a new sump pump.There was a second drain in the basement that was clogged too. Van was able to use an electric snake and unclog this drain :)It took quite a bit of work but Van finished it in good time and installed the new sump pump cleanly.We are really happy with the work done by Van and highly recommend him for any future work.

This guy is so nice and affordable! He shows up quickly and thoroughly explains everything. We had him show up to give an estimate about our water heater initially, and he didn’t charge for the estimate. We haven’t moved forward with that project yet (it’s a preventative issue, not a pressing issue), but a couple months later when we found out that we couldn’t get our new dishwasher installed without some updated plumbing under our sink, I knew exactly who I wanted to call! He showed up the next day to take a look, and since he didn’t have another appointment till 3, he fixed it right then. He tried to give me a discount, but I paid him the full amount because it was nice to have someone be so affordable and fast in the first place. Anyways, hire this guy. He’s worth it.
