I don’t usually post reviews but I had to take the time to acknowledge the service I received from my technician Zahir Abdul-Hakim. He arrived promptly within the time I requested, he set the expectation for my service call. It didn’t not take him long to resolve my issues and he explained in detail what to look out for potential issues. I was extremely impressed by his professionalism that I am going to schedule him for additional work. I also recommended him to a few of my friends. Zahir was my technicians name and he stopped by to do a AC tune up. He was exceptionally thorough and explained to me everything he was testing. Turns out my compressor is about to die on my Central AC condenser. Zahir was able to check and was able to find out that my compressor is still under warranty, so I’ll I need to pay for is the labor to get it replaced.I’ve used Sila for many years, and the service they provide has always been amazing. Highly recommend.

Tony provided exceptional service, polite and very knowledgeable. He arrived on time, and was very friendly. He gave me some pro-tips on maintaining my unit, professionally explained my issue and how to better manage my thermostat.he even did one or two little things to help my unit run more efficiently. I’d definitely use them again without a doubt. Highly recommended.My critique to the company would be tell your customers what they are about to be charged for before you perform the work. In my case he had to do some wiring work to figure out my issue. If he didn’t fix my issue would I still have been charged? We will never know because he fixed it! So I gladly paid!

This rating is for Sila’s diagnostic service. We needed an outside evaluation our 6 year old Mitsubishi mini-split system that was installed by another company. We had concerns about a possible refrigerant leak that was supposed to have been fixed by the installation company 2 years prior.Sila was recommend to us by customers of theirs in our neighborhood. They sent us Anthony, who diagnosed the problem, confirming that we had another refrigerant leak, and showed us where the line sets were corroding (long story). It’s never easy to give a someone bad news. Anthony explained things in a professional and courteous manner, and we greatly appreciate it.

When our ac broke we decided it was time to replace it. I scoured the internet and found that Sila had great reviews across the board and decades of experience. I called and was given a next-day free consultation. Luis was exceptionally thorough and gave estimates that best suited our needs and budget. He knew how important it was for us to have a working ac in the summer heat and 48 hours later we had a brand new unit put in. Thomas and his partner Manuel did an incredible job from start to finish. They arrived promptly first thing in the morning and in a few hours managed to get the new ac up and running including new wiring, tubing and a return. Before leaving, they made sure everything was working smoothly and that we were happy with the work done. They were so professional and kind. They are truly an incredible team. I highly recommend Sila!

Tony is always super helpful and knowledgeable when he services our heating and A/C equipment. Sila as a whole is a fantastic company, they are quick to follow up and make sure that we are scheduled for maintenance. They installed our high velocity A/C within a week and you would have never known they were here working all day…no dust, no mess, pretty incredible for such a huge undertaking. We have an old steam boiler that they now maintain as well, again, quick turnaround on calls and always polite, on-time, clean. Good customer service seems to be hard to guarantee across an entire company, but I recommend them to everyone…we have yet to have a poor experience.

Although my appointment was for the $59 AC tuneup, it wasnt my plan to purchase the warranty which seemed a bit costly. However, I did understand it was the best route to take for my 12 year old system. Also, Tony leveled my outdoor system which overtime had began to sink forward due to settling of the ground that I noticed also. I was very satisfied with Tonys job performance.

The professionalism continued the next day with Joshua and Keith who skillfully placed the furnace and explained in detail what they were doing. To finish off with the ladies at the home office, Rachel, Miranda, and Deanna who set up the original appt and helped with the financials.Great customer service and the easiest to plan with.

Our AC stopped working late in the day on a very hot summer day. We had adopted a newborn baby just days prior and needed it to be fixed ASAP. The thought of dragging out new baby to a hotel or friends house (Covid yucks!) was not what we wanted to do. After being told by several other companies that they couldnt get out until the next day (or later) we called Sila. They responded right away! The technician was here within an hour and had our AC fixed in no time. I thought the price was reasonable considering the quick response and quality work. I knew he would try to sell me a new AC unit (ours is ancient), but he could see we had our hands full and just did the job and left. Would recommend and use again.

Had appointment given between 1 to 4 today. Took off work early to be home for tech. No tech at 4:45 pm so call Sila for tech ETA and was told tech came by no one at home and they left a door tag on front door and left. Explained to lady that I was home waiting and both my kids home and that no one came by and no door tag on my front door. Really upset at this point because lady is basically calling me a lier so I hung up the phone as they ended up wasting my day. I was on phone with Blue Dot trying to have a tech come out since no heat in house for several days. I get a call come in and thinking it was Blue dot but it was Sila calling back stating they emailed me a picture of front door. Not my house. She asked for color of my front door which I provided and also looked at the photo and not my house but my neighbor one court up. She apologized since confirmed tech went to wrong address. She worked to find a tech to come back out which was very helpful. Hour later Zahir came to door and was very nice, professional and knowledgeable of his work. Got right to diagnosing the problem and had problem fixed quickly. He made sure all systems were operating before leaving. Have heat now and thankful to Zahir. Sila overall provided good customer service, great tech and good pricing. Would definitely will call on them again.

Overall, pleased with the service. The tech they sent was on time, friendly, and efficient. He diagnosed the issue quickly.Criticisms:1. Weekend answering service is not good...I got bad info. They should scrap that and just have a voicemail.2. Price for cleaning my ductless unit was quoted at over $500.00. That is a very expensive rinse. The tech showed me the dirty component...said it would be quick/easy to accomplish. 500 dollars? In this economy??!3. Tech arrived at the very front of a 5 hour service window. After he poked around the unit for ~15 minutes, diagnosed and described the ease of the job required, he then told me he did not have time to accomplish that task (cleaning), and I would have to call back and schedule it. Tough pill to swallow, but so be it.

We needed to replace our old Unico high pressure air conditioning system. Our team leader was Brentin Cottrell. He accurately evaluated our requirements and discussed options for installation. The team members were knowledgeable and helped us determine where to place the new vents, providing excellent advice during the installation. Their work was performed quickly, professionally and was completed on schedule. All debris was collected at the end of each working day. The price was reasonable and we are very pleased with the results. I would definitely recommend Sila for similar work in the future and I intend to hire them to maintain our system.
