    It’s a good sign when a brand lives up to their moto “To Show Up Fast and To Fix the Problem . . . I called at 9:15 AM with and issue of a dropped under-sink in the kitchen— Roto Repairer Kyle showed up within the hour — thought outside the box and resolved my problem without having me buy a new granite countertop and sink saving me $$$— Thank you Roto for you fast, professional and efficient service.

    We had a clogged toilet and sewage backing up into a bathtub at our rental property. I called Roto-Rooter this morning (Sunday) and within 10 minutes the service tech called back. I can’t remember his name but he was phenomenal! He was out at the property within an hour of the phone call and had the problem fixed within 20 minutes. He was a true professional as well as patient and kind. He explained what he thought the problem was on the phone and the process they use to fix it. He was transparent about pricing as well so there were no surprises - the pricing was very reasonable by the way even for a weekend. He made the whole experience pleasant and stress-free. I am really pleased with the experience and I highly recommend these guys. I will definitely be using them again if we ever have issues in the future!

    We had a clog in our main drain. We called Clog Busters - someone came out, didnt look at the project and gave us the pricing that they refused to give over the phone. They quoted 1k to 3,500 without even diagnosing the issue. Called Roto Rooter, on a Sunday...on Thanksgiving weekend because our drain was backing up. The young man who came out was so respectful, worked quickly and was able to clear our drain within 30 minutes. Simple clog but 77 ft out. Our bill didnt break the bank and he recommended a maintenance drain cleaner he had on hand to help prevent future concerns. I wish I could remember his name because he made our day. Please tell him how much he is appreciated.Thank you so much!!!!

    We had a first time sewer partial clog since owning over 3 years and Roto-Rooter was called by American Water Resources to work on issue. AWR had me on hold for about 5-10 minutes, but then took my information and said Roto-Rooter would call me about my appointment within 2-4 hours. They called after just a few minutes to confirm the call and responded within an hour. Zach was professional and friendly and explained the situation as well as advised how to handle future issues if they should arise. Hopefully, the issue is resolved. Did not appear to be a root issue but he said area is known for Orangeburg sewer tile issues. Very pleased with Roto-Rooters response and service.

    I had Mike out to my house to camera and snake my drains and he did a fantastic job!! He clearly showed me photos and explained what was going on. He explained things very well and acted very professional. He shared knowledge on how the problem may occurred and how to take care of it.     Josh was great. No other local service would come out to our small town most didn’t call back for days. He called right back after 7 pm, drove out here and had both toilets unclogged within 30 minutes, and stayed after to make sure everything flushed great. Actually they’re now flushing better than before. Just call roto next time instead of waiting for the other guys to not call you back.

    Mike Boyd@RotoRooter Des Moines got my sewer flowing again and came back the next day to run a camera and diagnose issues that may have caused the backup. Service was professional and personable, fixed the immediate problem and we made a plan to address what we found with the camera. Beyond just clearing the pipe and offering services, Mike was open and explained what he was seeing, which helped me make an informed decision about how to proceed. 10/10, highly reccommended.

    So far, have had a fantastic experience. Called Saturday morning as we had an issue with our main line. Joe promptly called back, and couldnt have been more helpful. Super informative, transparent, and communicative. He encouraged us to wait until Monday if we could so that we wouldnt have to pay time and a half to get the work done, which we did.This morning, Shane came out. I shared with Shane what we had experienced, and he immediately did his best to educate me and diagnose the problem. He was an awesome guy - hard worker, easy to chat with, and effective. As he sent his line down the main line, he talked me through everything he was doing, and what he thought may be the cause of our issue. He then recommended additional peace of mind services that could help us further - we have those scheduled for later this week.Unfortunately, weve had a terrible experience with another company, so we were very concerned about going through this experience again. Joe, Shane and Team provided us with great customer experience and effective solutions, all in a cost-effective way. Very reasonable for the work they did.We will be using Roto-Rooter going forward with all plumbing/drain needs!

    I love Roto Rooter. They helped HomeServ insurance company understand plumbing. I was denied coverage with them because storm drains were not covered. My issue was a collapsed sewer drain (which IS covered). Zack from Rotor rooter figured it out for me. After 2 weeks of phone calls to insurance Co. They finally agreed to cover replacing sewer drain which entails chopping up cement in basement, removing old drain, installing drain and replace cement. I thought it would be an all day project. Chris and Ty from Roto came at 9am were done and cleaned up by noon. Nice, professional and compassionate men. These three men saved me from toxic sewer gas. I will always recommend Rotor Rootor to anyone that needs help with plumbing. Thank you guys ❤️.

    Josh & Mason showed up in under an hour of my call. They were professional, kind, and they helped fix the huge drain clog in the kitchen. They were even kind enough to work through our home warranty to help us recoup some of the money we lost because we had made two service calls prior to reaching out them because we thought the issue started with the dishwasher. 😩 Thank you for helping us so quickly so we didn’t have to be without for another three weeks!

    Unbelievable customer service. I only wish I could give a 10 star rating. Mike from Roto-Rooter came to our rescue today. He was professional, clean, communicated and set my mind at ease. He was able to uncover the problem and resolve the issue swiftly. He left my house smelling great by cleaning and sterilizing the affected area.     I rarely feel motivated to share a review, however, I cant help but to share how great the gentleman (Cameron) who performed the work was absolutely wonderful. I needed to have my main sewer line cleared of roots. He was respectful, kind and very personable. He took care not to damage my property while hauling in a very large snake machine, he protected my carpet and furniture with plastic and tarps - Thank you! I had used another local professional service prior to Roto Rooter which resulted in PTSD after they flooded my basement and as a result had to have a professional clean up company come in to clean up the mess. Just all around a good experience and to boot, the cost to have them come and do the work was reasonable.Thank you again!M-

    I spoke with Trish in dispatch. She was so kind and clear with her communication and ensured I would have someone out right away. David Lundberg and Jordan (didnt catch his last name) were my Drain Techs.     After numerous tree roots/breaks in our line we had RotoRooter come and replace the line for us. From the very beginning they were tremendous to work with. I initially spoke with Jim numerous times to explore our options and he was extremely accommodating, professional, honest and responsive. He even went the extra mile to work with our insurance company to see what coverage we may have to help cover some of the costs.Once work began, the entire RotoRooter team exceeded our expectations on every level. The workmanship and overall end-product was exceptional and I cant stress this enough, the team was amazing. They were polite, cognizant of keeping noises down due to having a 1-year old in the house, were great at communicating what they were doing and why, and our basement was cleaner than before they arrived after they finished and hauled countless buckets of dirt and materials out of our basement to lay the new plumbing. After this experience I wont even look elsewhere but will call RotoRooter of Des Moines for any of my plumbing needs.10/10

    If you’re in need of a good plumbing service, we highly recommend Dave. We’ve had ongoing issues with our Sump pump since we moved in. Started having problems this morning again. Dave came out 3 different times today, on the holiday, and finally ended up replacing the whole pump for a fraction of the cost we were expecting. He didn’t even charge holiday rates. Good guy, great service.

They will respond quickly (same day, in my case same hour) and bring all the tools necessary to get your life back in order FAST, at an affordable rate. Mike Boyd was very professional, knowledgeable, had a fantastic attitude, explained everything he was doing, and left the house spotless. You don’t want to have problems, but if you do, this is who you should call with no hesitation. They’ll make it better!

    Called Roto Rooter after I discovered my basement was flooded. The person who answered the phone was named Stevie. She was super helpful professional and very nice. I’m sure she could tell from the sound of my voice I was very irritated. It was a quick call that ended with “someone will be over shortly”. And boy she wasn’t kidding . Dave Lee showed up to my house within a half hour.Dave got here VERY quickly. He also was professional, very knowledgeable, courteous, and patient while he answered all our questions. He got the problem figured out and was gone within a hour. Talk about efficiency! He handled our problem like the pro he is.We really appreciate the service of this company.     I called RotoRooter on Friday and they offered to come nearly immediately. I agreed on a Monday appointment and the technician Dave Lee (Tech#138) arrived on time. His phone and in person interactions were extremely professional and kind. He was low key and down to earth while explaining the drain service he was completing on my 100 year old house. He encountered some troubles with my old pipes but remained determined to fix the problem. I really appreciate the hard work he put into fixing my drains.     I have used this business for YEARS. I keep coming back because they are quick to respond, have 24/7 service are friendly, professional and fairly priced.     Fantastic experience from beginning to end. Connor, Bob, Rome, all three of you delivered excellent service and have a great Can do attitude. It shows that you take pride in your jobs and want to do right by the customer. In less than 48 hours, I had a nasty kitchen sink unclogged, a hot water heater installed and the master bath shower repaired. The staff were over the top professional and services rendered very affordable. Dont try saving a few bucks to fix it yourself, leave it to Roto-Rooter, its money well spent.

    We had a serious emergency happen in our home, we had our ceiling leaking. I still am in shock and couldn’t process how this even happened. We realized our builders didn’t install our pipes correctly. We called roto rooter they came within 30 minutes and left under a hour to fix it all! Pat Ross was our plumber. His customer service was out of this world. We felt awful calling him on a Sunday evening, when I’m sure he could of been home with his family. He was beyond helpful and kept saying don’t worry about it, I was happy to help. We will get our carper dry and our ceiling fixed.. BUT NO more leaking water. I will forever use roto rooter for any future plumbing issues . Thank you guys again and amazing to have a team member like Pat.

    We had a few pipes freeze with our sub-zero temperatures. We vacated the house thinking it might be a couple of days before we could get someone out to fix it. We got a call back from one service tech saying they might be able to get here next day. Got a call from another tech who was just finishing up another job just a few minutes later. He was able to come out only about 3 hours after our first contact with the company (maybe 20 minutes after he called us), and it took even less time than we were quoted.We are able to sleep at home tonight, and it was much cheaper than we were thinking it might cost.Thank you, Kirk!     I had a clogged drain which had happened once in the past. I called another company when scheduling online said they had a Monday opening. When I called them on the phone they said the soonest would be Monday. I called Roto-Rooter and there were able to service me the same day. The tech called and gave me a heads up.They were in and out in about an hour. Dale, the tech, actually knew more about my house than what I was told by a previous plumber. He was very professional and their price was a pleasant surprise!!!

    I had some plumbing issues come up last Thursday evening. I called Friday morning, and they were able to get someone out to my house within hours. Dave #136 and his partner also named Dave came out to the house. They were prompt, professional, kind and funny. They evaluated the situation. Got the situation resolved in a short period of time. I had them also check my septic tank and they did encourage me to get it pumped because it was way past due. It had been 7 years since the last one and it should be done every 3-5 years. They showed me why and stepped through everything with me. They answered all my questions. When they pulled my toilet up, they even asked if I wanted to take a few minutes and paint behind it. I had the paint available and was able to do it in 5 minutes but it sure was appreciated that they even asked. My dogs even liked them. Dave #136 even hugged my lab. I have such appreciation and commitment to those companies that treat customers like this. Thank you to the both of them! I hope Roto Rooter has an incentive program they put in place to reward these guys. Top notch. Roto Rooter will be the company I call for all my plumbing and septic issues.

    Josh and John showed up within an hour of my initial call.They checked a few things to determine if the problem was the basement floor drain or the main sewer line to the street. After removing what was likely the original clean out plug, they were able to quickly get the main line cleaned out.They explained some additional options I might consider if I have future problems (camera, hydro-jet) but no upsell pressure at all.Thanks.

    I had a clogged drain causing shower in basement not to drain. I called another company first based on a recommendation but they could not get drain pipe cleared. I contacted Roto Rooter who we have used thru the years for backed up drain issues and Mike Boyd JR was the technician sent. He could not believe condition my carpet etc were left in by other company. He got the drain unclogged in less time than the other guys and helped cleanup some of their mess left. He explained everything to me as he went along and made sure everything was good before taking off. I will only use Rotor Rooter from now on. They are reliable and professional and take care of their clients home when completing the work!!!

    Mike Boyd, Roto-Rooter technician, came to my house when the basement drain began to overflow. He diagnosed the problem, helped me with insurance advice, and has been available at all times when I had questions and concerns. He is a great guy and highly professional!     We have used Roto Rooter at our apartment complex for over 25 years. We have close to 400 apartments and have never had an issue that they could not solve. We have had them auger sinks, tubs, junctions, as well as , camera lines, repair water main breaks and replace commercial water heaters. They have a remarkable amount of knowlege and years of experience. All the service technicians are top notch! We have worked with them all! Conner, Kyle, Wayne, Josh, Rome they are all diligent, hardworking and courteous.

    Was having issues with my sewer line and called in the morning. The immediately told me that they were busy and it might take a while (very cold and lots of frozen pipes in the area). They called late in the night (9:30 pm) and indicated that they could come and take a look. They were here quickly and resolved the problem very quickly. I really appreciated them going the extra mile to come so late (and not charging me some emergency call fee like other places would). The guy that came was very nice (even though he was having a late day). I will definitely use and recommend root-rooter services in the future and recommend to friends.

    This business charged me $250/hr to descale sewer pipe in basement floor of my home (3 hours on site). To my shock, I was also charged $250 for their trip from their office and back again - a 15-to-20 minute trip each way. Paying $250 an hour for a trip charge was never mentioned when discussing the price of the service. I consider this charge unwarranted and unethical. Be prepared to be gouged if you are considering hiring this outfit.UPDATE: Kirk of Roto Rooter called to say he was refunding the $250 trip charge. Thanks, Kirk, for making this right.

    Friday night between 10-11 pm. My parents called 4 places. My mother left a voicemail and they called right back,The man said he would there in about 20 minutes or so. He was. Thier sewer was backed up with waste...James Dennis was so kind to them. My dad couldnt say enough good about him. He was quick and fair. Please give this place a chance. I am so greatful for this company having such a good person working for them. I worry about my parents and I was concerned with the situation, I knew they were embarassed, but James had character, not once did he make them feel bad.
