    Deaver did all of the electrical for our new commercial building in Waukee. They did a great job. Travis the owner was on site a lot in the beginning and was always willing to answer any questions. Josef was the main electrician that wired the building and he was very knowledgable and personable as well. I would highly recommend this company!

    The 2 technicians fixed the line in connector pole on house roof following the wind storms, allowing for full hookup to power by Mid American Energy.     I contacted Deaver Electric in hopes someone could help my mom fix a switch that was very dangerous. My mom lives by herself and is of an advanced age. Brian Sheehy came to her house in a timely manner. He was so respectful and professional. It didn’t take him long to fix the problem and he was willing to repair a couple other minor things also.     I was so overwhelmed redoing my kitchen myself and was very unsure how to do the electrical. I called Deaver and they called me back within an hour to talk with me and understand what I needed done. I asked how much it might be and they told me their hourly rates and were able to send someone to me 20 minutes after my call. Josiah showed up and was AWESOME..he let me tell him what I was thinking about where I wanted to move my outlets and was not only able to get it done but made some suggestions and talked me through it so I would understand and made it better than what I had planned. He was very personable and professional and got it done quickly. I dont know if they are the least expensive but I know they arent the most expensive and am VERY pleased with the results and I would for sure use them again. Love that they are local and could support them. Highly recommend them.

    After trying several other electrical company’s and never getting a call back I’m so glad I found Deaver Electric. I was so impressed with the responsiveness and communication I received from day one. I met with nick (A master electrician) and showed him the problems that I was having. He quickly and efficiently solved everything. After removing some old knob and tube power lines and replacing with safe and reliable new power all my Christmas lights are back on and working perfectly.     We had Deaver Electric come out and install 2 outdoor outlets, re-route co-ax cable to move our modem to a central location, and work a solution with our existing intercom system to allow installation on a Nest doorbell. Sean and Chris were the 2 electricians that came and did the work. They were excellent. Called to say they were ahead of schedule, explained everything, were great with each other, cleaned up. The work is very clean and looks great. The invoice was exactly what the estimate was and they were able to work with our schedule to get the work done in a timely manner.     We purchased a home with vaulted ceilings, can lights on one side, and a hanging fixture that was way off center and too low on the other. Deaver came out and removed the hanging fixture, and replaced it with cans to match the other side of the vault. Our home now is brighter, more functional, and more visually appealing. Highly recommend!!!

    I had an AC emergency in the middle of the summer. I called them to see if they can send someone to take a look at it. Two techs were in front of my door within an hour. They diagnosed the root cause and fixed my issue within 30 mins. The entire end to end service experience was excellent. I got their number from a friend who had a similar experience.

    We are in process of selling our house. The buyers hired an electrician who came over, looked at the box for 3 mins, and called it bad. We hired Deaver to take a look at the panel and ACTUALLY inspect it. He checked everything! Told us that our brand of panel has a bad wrap but if we were seeing issues with it, he’s have found them. Turns out the panel is fine. Very quick and knowledgeable! I highly recommend!

    I reached out to Deaver Electric to install a 240v for a new stove, I was going from gas to electric. They worked with me rescheduling the appointment because of hiccups caused by the appliance store and sent out the nicest guys, that worked quickly, cleaned up when done, and helped me put the new stove in place.     We are so appreciative of the work that Deaver Electric provides. The integrity that Travis and his team show with every job they perform is exceptional. Their service is outstanding, the prices are very reasonable, and they treat you like family.We first met Travis several years ago while contracting his company to perform major wiring work during a large remodeling project at our familys business. We were extremely happy with their work, the professionalism they displayed, and so pleased to learn that not only could they handle all of our commercial needs, but residential as well.They recently completed a large project in our home that included the removal of extremely old knob and tube wiring, the replacement of several ceiling fans, the installation of can lighting, and the addition of an outdoor light and RV receptacle. We also added other small jobs as the work progressed. They were so patient with our changes and very respectful of our home. As with any repairs or projects, especially in century old homes, there can be unforeseen issues as the work progresses . We are so thankful for the entire Deaver Electric team because not only did they perform the work with confidence and a smile, they reassured us that everything we had wished for could be completed, and in a timely manner.     Nothing like waking up to hear a malfunctioning circuit breaker. After a neighbor told me how great Deaver Electric is, I immediately called them as soon as they opened. They scheduled a service technician to be at my house 2 hours later.An hour later, the technician, Chris, called to say he had just finished a job and was available to come right away if thatd be okay. He asked if I would send photos of the bad breaker and the panel to make sure he had the right parts when he arrived. Loved that!Once he got here, he quickly diagnosed the problem, explained it to me and made the repair.And he was gone within an hour.Excellent, friendly, comprehensive and very efficient service. And he practiced COVID protocols as well.I couldnt be happier with the service Chris and Deaver Electric provided. Im glad our paths have crossed. Ill be a customer for life.

My main issue was an outside GFCI continually tripping.
