    Chris and his team really do take the pillars of Quality, Reliability, and Caring seriously. The price significantly less than other estimates and I had about everything electrical fixed that could be. I feel like I have time travelled from the 1950s to the 21st century. No more 2 prong adapters needed, and things are up to code.They showed up when they said they would, worked with me to identify what I wanted and needed with the upgrades, and then did the work. They always made sure the work areas were neat and we had heat and power before they left for the day.Coffin Electric not only exceeded my basic expectations, they consistently went above and beyond. This applies to the electricians and the office staff.I am looking forward to the spring when we can complete the work needed to upgrade the garage. Ill update my review when thats done.

    I hardly know where to start to describe my best experience ever with a service professional.I wanted to hire a local business. Coffin Electric came to the top of my list. Christian was able to complete my kitchen project the same day as his on-site estimate. Plus he educated me on my electrical panel and took the time to check on a couple of questions I had. I learned a lot today and will enjoy my new under cabinet lighting. I highly recommend Coffin Electric.

    We have had a couple of jobs that they have performed and they are always courteous and timely. They have done a great job listening to what we wanted and then getting things done right!11/27/24 - Just had a ceiling fan replaced on a high angled ceiling. Great job by Christian navigating the ladder in and out of the house and doing all of the assembly and balancing of the fan. Love it! Great job!!

    Very responsive, they texted us when they were on their way and the technician was incredibly professional and helped us with numerous issues outside of what we hired him for.     I had Christian install 2 large sconces in the master bath. He needed to move outlets to do this. He was prompt, thorough, and carefully spaced them next to a large round mirror. In fact he even hung the mirror for me ensuring the toggle bolt went into a stud. I will definitely ask for him when I need an electrician in the future.

    An unforeseen need for an electrician arose. Having never needed one since returning to Iowa years ago, I received a referral from my plumber (Herr) and will be forever thankful. Coffin sent Christian Laverty. An amazing, well trained and professional electrician plus a very nice man. All I can say his solutions for my needs were spot on, and so efficient. In addition to his task, he did a home safety check (every plug! Inside and out!). Impressive. Plus he sold me an important safety mechanism that may have been unexpected expense but I am grateful to have it in place now! Bravo Christian and Coffin! Thank you!

    Christian very efficiently and thoroughly investigated the work that I needed done. He also helped me by raising my curtain rods, straightening out the rug on my front porch (involved moving several pieces of furniture, moved a heavy outdoor plant from garage to front porch, and put linseed oil mixture on many white spots on my hardwood floor, caused by spilling isopropyl alcohol. Extremely nice and pleasant! I am choosing Coffin Electric for my jobs. Christian installed a complicated chandelier. It looks beautiful!

They explained the process, worked cleanly, efficiently, with care for the desks and personal effects, and with great communication. After seeing them in action at my place of business, Coffin will now always be my first call for my electrical needs at home as well as my office.

    Coffin Electric redid my whole house after a fire. They ran all new wires, pulled out all the old wires, installed a new circuit breaker panel, fire detectors, everything. Every employee I spoke with was great. I will hire them if I need anything again.

    I had a great experience with scheduling and service with Coffin Electric. When I called, I confirmed what to expect, a electrician would come out, evaluate what our needs were, provide a quote and then schedule work to be done. What I didnt expect when the electrician arrived (Christian), a quote onsite and the time to complete the work same day!!! Christian was very professional, reviewed all we were wanting done, provided options where options were available, answered questions about other areas of our house, basically, took the time to educate.     Perfect. Both service people were great and very good representatives of your company. Even did a great clean up when work was done and even brought our trash bin up to the garage when it was snowing. I do not say perfect very often.They installed three ceiling fans in record time. Installed 3 new can lights. Wired up 2 electric awning window openers. Installed TV on wall bracket. Solved issue with LED dimming lights. Inspected bath room exhaust fan vent hose.They know what they are doing, are friendly and personable.I would give them a 20 star rating. Why look any farther.Jim
