We had Welborn come replace some outlets, GIFs, switches, and 7 fixtures for my mom. I didnt take photos of them all but you can see what a difference fresh lighting makes. They were able to schedule us quickly as we have another contractor coming in this week. Shannon answered the phone everytime I called and was responsive. My mom is already planning for them to come back and do more work. :)

Excellent work! A painting and drywall contractor knew of Welborn and recommended I contact them to have some outdated lighting removed and new wafer LED lights installed in my kitchen. Shannon N. came to my house to quote the job. He was prompt and immediately was able to offer helpful suggestions of lighting placement. He explained exactly what the workers would do and how. He took pictures and drew diagrams so he could accurately communicate to the workers. He sent me a quote in a timely manner and provided dates of availability. We agreed on a date and the electricians were there promptly. They got right to work and were highly skilled and very precise with measuring and lighting placement. They also cleaned up all debris when they were done which was nice. For once, a contractor did an excellent job and did not damage anything in my house. While Welborn is not the cheapest, I actually didnt mind paying more for great service because its very hard to come by in this new climate. They get down to business and they dont waste any time. Very professional from beginning to end. Welborn will be our go-to company for any future electrical needs. Highly recommend!

What a wonderful experience! The team was so friendly and talked me through each step of what they did so that I knew exactly what needed repair. They also installed an outside outlet in no time. We have used Welborn Electric for over five years, and have been completely satisfied with their work. Even though the price may be a little higher, we have chosen to stay with this company. Shannon Neese is the main reason why we made this decision. He is not only personable and professional, but he is responsive to our needs. His timely response, trusted service, and ongoing attention to detail, has helped make our decision to stay with Welborn. It isn’t worth a few dollars to lose such a valued working relationship. After several other companies didnt return my call or didnt show up, I called Welborn Electric - boy am I glad that I did! Welborn answered immediately, they were professional, helped me schedule an appointment, and sent me info to fill out when they said they would. Best of all, they called back the same day with an earlier appointment for that afternoon! The guys that came to fix my electrical issue were professional, polite, and very knowledgeable. I would highly recommend them!

Very nice, professional, thorough and clear explanations of issues. I also called the owner with an issue and he was able to navigate me through the problem, figured out what it was on the phone and directed me what I needed to do. Gave me time while he knew the issue was outside the home and did not charge me for expertise. Easily could have sent someone out, charge me to tell me the issue was not with my home. Honesty appreciated. Highly recommend.

After gathering information on reviews and receiving quotes I decided to go with Welborn Electric. Threw a service order I was able to select the date I wanted them to come out. The two electrician team arrived promptly at the scheduled time. They assembled, replaced and hung three lighting fixtures for me. They even offered to remove the empty boxes. They were able to do the work in two hours. I would recommend Welborn Electric to anyone who’s looking to have electrical work or lighting fixtures replaced. I will definitely use them again if the need arise. I’m giving them five stars.

Welborne Electric came out promptly for an after hours call to restore power, which gave us lights and refrigerator. Returned early next morning and completely fixed the problem. I highly recommend them. Professional, clearly explained issue, prompt, and reasonable prices.

My husband and I have used Welborn Electric several times over the last few years. We have been so pleased with the work they do and the professionalism of their teams. No matter who they send out to do the work, they always know what they’re doing and are very courteous and efficient. From the electricians to the accounting staff, we are always impressed with the way they treat their customers. We recently had some trees fall in our back yard, knocking the electrical box off the house. We spoke with Shannon and he sent Agustine and Jhonathon out. They informed us that they would need to install a new electrical box to code. After ordering parts, they came back out and installed the new box. Shannon coordinated with the city to have an inspection done after the work was completed. Duke Energy then sent someone out to put their meter into the new box. He let us know that Welborn had done a great job.When a whole team of people do the kind of work Welborn Electric does and treats their customers as well as they do, it is obvious that their work ethic comes from the top down.We would like to thank the whole team at Welborn Electric for the wonderful work they do and wish every one of them a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!Bill and Carolyn Tucker

I called Shannon with Welborn Electric to finish up a job after I had to fire the original electrical contractor that I hired to wire my 12x20 foot utility building. Shannon took over the job, provided a reasonable estimate, and his team - who were most professional and accommodating - quickly finished the work; the city inspector signed-off on the electrical final without any problems at all (it took the original contractor four (4) attempts to pass the electrical rough-in). I am most certainly not an electrician, but I successfully renovated my own house; I know good quality work when I see it, and Welborns people did a fine job.

Once the wiring was completed they took time to train me about how to switch to the generator power and then back to Duke Energy power. They also cleaned up their work area before departing. We removed a non-load bearing wall and needed outlets in that wall removed and the switches for the lights rerouted. Everything was done exactly as we asked with minimal need for opening up walls to do it! One small 12x12 inch area was all they needed! They were quick to respond, and as an added bonus...the final bill was less than what we were quoted! They were timely and cleaned up after they were finished. We will definitely use them again if we need electrical services in the future.

I requested quite a large punch list from Welborne Electric. Wiring a newly installed shed, overhead light installations and repairs, outdoor outlets, to even installing an outdoor sound system and re-running cable and internet lines... and everything in between. They coordinated well with other crews (landscaping, crawlspace) while providing flawless work. They even took the time to travel to Eden, NC from Greensboro, NC which was greatly appreciated. For any electrical needs I have in the future, I know who to call.

This is a top notch company. I called leaving work one day (about an hour and twenty away) for a supposed dropped neutral in my electricity for my HVAC (turns out that was not true, electric was fine). These guys are just amazing. My entire house was having crazy electrical problems reminiscent of the movie Poltergeist. Lights flickering, electronics turning on and off and Duke Energy was not convinced it wasnt on my end because no neighbors were having issues. I reached out to Welborn only about an hour and a half before they were due to close for the day and asked the please to send someone out. Shannon said everyone was tied up but he thought there was one job he could pull a crew over from and sure enough they were at my house within about 30 minutes. The guys were professional, quickly identifying a serious issue that turned out to be on Dukes supply side of the equation. At that point Duke showed up and they stayed and worked with them to explain what they had found so that Duke could take further steps to fix it. Turns out I had a bad neutral line going back to the transformer. Its the 4th of July tomorrow so I really cant thank Welborn enough for their quick, professional and courteous service. 10/10 would call again!
