We called Mr Electric to diagnose and repair a faulty light switch in our home. Mark Reid was the electrician who did the work. He was both professional and personable and did a great job in explaining what he was doing and why. The repair was done quickly and at what I think was a very fair price (I called two other electricians before choosing Mr Electric). I would recommend Mr Electric and Mark and have given his information to our Home Owners Association to keep in its database of reputable service providers.

Professional electricians! I called them to install an outlet for a bathroom remodel. They were the second quote we received after the first quote seemed too high. Mr Electric was $200 cheaper than a competitor for the same work. They completed the work on the same day after I accepted the quote. Definitely the best experience I have ever had with contracting out a company to do work on my house. I had Mr Electric install a Tesla charger for home use. Mark was so thoughtful and professional. He spent time explaining everything to me, let me ask questions, and offered me a solution that would use my existing set up. Balex also came out but told me I needed an entirely new 200A panel, which Mr Electric confirmed was just not true. Balex quoted me $3k more than what I cost Mr Electric to do this job. Agree with several comments that they run on the expensive side but they seemed extremely professional and I liked their guarantees, plus Corey was very friendly and their uniforms and trucks gave me confidence that this was a legitimate business. So I decided to go with them despite being the higher quote for the peace of mind of having a professional working inside our house on our wiring with the backing of multiple guarantees. I had wrongly assumed all the info I had provided on the phone was passed on to Corey, so there was a little bit of miscommunication on the scope of the job, but when I called them back, they sent Corey back out at no charge and made it right! If you want a clean and professional electrician who guarantees their work and dont mind paying a bit of a premium, I definitely recommend Mr. Electric.

Nothing but good things to say. Mr. Spitzer was fantastic. He explained everything I needed to know about my project. And after he had finished trouble shooting the problem with my pool motor, he volunteered to wire my motor back up even though he did not unwire it. He was the consumate professional, and when my other electrical issues arise, I will most certainly call them. Also I have to mention Amber, the customer service representative who set the appointment. She was extremely polite, and personable, and happy. It was a delight to speak to someone who sincerely enjoys her job. My five minute conversation with her was very possibly the best customer service experience I have ever had.

Finally I dialed for Mr. Electric and not only did a REAL person promptly answer the phone, they got us in touch with the technician within minutes and he was able to guide us over the phone on what to do to assist with our immediate need and then scheduled a follow up appt for the next day to quote the actual solution to the issue. The technician was very polite and friendly. I will say its a little pricey. I had a Nest doorbell installed; I didnt have existing electrical wiring at all for a doorbell and needed the wiring and transformer put in which is why we used an electrician. Theyre more expensive than some of the other electricians in the area but Im not going to remove stars for that because I was given the price before any work was started and I agreed to it, not knowing how much others charged at the time. The technician showed the breakdown of cost and made sure I was okay with all installation points and areas he would have to cut open the wall. He cleaned up afterwards and was extremely helpful through the whole process. He found a spot where a previous electrician had cut corners and helped with that, as well. Overall, Im very happy and impressed with the professionalism of the technician and the company.

Edited Review: I had the pleasure of talking with Mr. Mats Linden, the owner and president of Mr. Electric of Greensboro after a flat rate pricing issue that accord on June 28. A service call to check my outdoor outlets that were not working led to a very simple solution. Unfortunately, Mr. Electrics flat rate pricing policy led to steep price. I am pleased to say that the president of the Greensboro company spoke with me personally about the issue and has promised to look into this the policy and decide upon a smaller price for simple solution situations like I had (a hidden and tripped GFCI). Mr. Linden was easy to work with and understanding. I have high respect for a businessman who cares about his business, his costumers, and building a relationship in the community.The technician sent was very knowledgeable and and helpful. And Mr. Linden cares about his costumers. I would in fact recommend Mr. Electric of Greensboro.

The temputures have been extreme so I ran out and got and Air conditioner. When I got it home and read the instructions it stated it had to have 3 prong outlet. My apartment only has 2 prong. I called this electrician and he advised it was something he could not do without the landlord permission. I started to stress thinking about another day living in heat. This Angel of a human being told me how to remedy my issue with a quick inexpensive trip to Lowes. I can only imagine what he could have charged me if he wanted to take advantage. Our dryer circuit breaker kept tripping during the drying cycles. Since the dryer appeared to be working normal and was fairly new with no obvious defects, suspected the circuit was the problem. Called Mr. Electric to check the circuit and was informed they would quickly let me know if an electrician could come soon (on Saturday) to check it out. Within 5 minutes, received an e-mail informing be Arthur would arrive in about 2 hours. Arthur arrived 90 minutes later and quickly analyzed the problem. He found a loose hot wire not fastened well to the circuit breaker causing arching which burned the wire connection and circuit breaker. He fixed the wire and replaced the circuit breaker. Also, he checked the other end of the circuit at the dryer connection and found everything ok. But, we did re-orient the socket voluntarily so that the dryer cable would hang properly. Overall, Arthur and the service were very professional as well as informed of findings along the way. Thanks very much!

James came out to my house today and provided phenomenal service. We had the breaker to our living room trip, and were unable to figure out what was causing it, because it would trip again immediately with everything turned off and unplugged. James was very thorough in his investigation, and eventually found a mysterious wire behind an outlet that was shorting out, but didnt seem to be connected to anything in the living room. He noticed it seemed to be going down, and in the dark and the rain went crawling around under our house and determined that it had been connected to the sump pump, and it going bad was what had caused our problems. So that we wouldnt be without our sump pump in the rain, James went out and got us a new sump pump, and ran the wires for a new circuit to make sure that everything would work properly in the future.
