We moved to NC in 2015 from MD. I come from a family of Union Electricians, Steamfitters, and Plumbers. My father was one, but unfortunately, he passed away in 2005. However, my mother’s brothers are as well. We never needed to hire an electrician, etc., until we moved here. I can not remember who referred us to BODIE’s, but I am thankful they did.We’ve had Isaac come by and do multiple electrical projects in our home. We are updating lighting fixtures so that they are more modern. Today, we had Isaac come by to replace the bathroom exhaust fans. I asked my mother if she had seen the newer exhaust fan in her bathroom; she had not but knows it looks good because Isaac put it in. That’s how much she trusts him. I will not use anyone else for our electricity except for BODIE’S. Their honest assessments and detailed work are so hard to find nowadays. I cannot say enough they are HONEST in pricing and their work. I deeply respect those values in any contractor.I’ve added pictures all the lighting so far.

Smooth and nice! I’m really happy with the services I got from Bodie’s. We have two breaker boxes in our house and I wanted generator hookups for both. Marc did the quote from pictures I sent of the boxes and as soon as the parts arrived the job was done. I had another electrician actually come out earlier and quote the job and that was a lot pricier and allegedly switches had to be manufactured etc. With Marc it was chop chop, I sent some pics, day after quote was received and job planned and parts on order, about 1 week later the job was done. Strongly recommend! I’ll be using Bodie’s services for all future electrical jobs. Thank you Marc (and the installers) for a great job! Much Appreciated!

Bodie’s Home Electric is hands down the best electrician in the Greensboro area. Marc, the owner, responded very quickly to our request for a quote to install recessed lighting in our home. He explained in detail what would be involved in the project. He quoted two options if we decided to add additional lighting during the installation. Marc gave us an accurate timeline as to when the work would be scheduled. Several days before the project, he communicated with us to ensure we were ready for the electricians to begin the work.On the scheduled day, Austin and Robert arrived on time and couldn’t have been more polite and respectful of our home. They explained exactly how they would install the lighting and began with the work. They were so neat and made minimal cuts into our ceilings. As the project progressed, I decided to go ahead with the additional recessed lighting, and they were happy to accommodate my request. Several hours later, when all of the work was completed, there was not a speck of dirt on the floors where they had been working. They also realigned a ceiling fan in our living room and installed a light/fan in our bedroom. Adding the recessed lighting has provided the much-needed light in our home, and we are grateful for the technical skills of everyone at Bodie’s Home Electric.

Very impressed. I called and the owner answered, took the information and arranged the appointment for two days later! Robert and Austin arrived right on time...they patiently walked around the house and barn and listened to my list of 10-20 different requests; then quietly, efficiently took care of everything over 3-4 hours. They kept me informed, kept the dogs entertained, and where there were options, were careful to explain different costs. They could have told me several times to replace fixtures, and Id have known no better, but instead they took care of most items by repairs. I was pleasantly surprised by the final cost, and the carefully detailed work report. Superb.

Bodie’s Home Electric was fantastic. My home was in Due Diligence and had few minor inspection issues that arose. Another place that I called had a separate fee for that situation, to the tune of $100. Bodie’s Home Electric was my next call and Marc was immediately helpful and had one of his electricians come out the next day to take care of things. Very friendly, knowledgeable and very reasonable on the wallet. Would definitely recommend.

We needed wiring done in our attic as well as three ceiling fans hung. I couldnt be more pleased with their work. Isaac and Jonathan were right on time and completed quite a lot of work efficiently, and courteously. I went with them because they were so responsive to my questions and giving an estimate. Get estimates elsewhere if you wish but be CERTAIN you call Bodies Home Electric as well. Thanks guys and Marc too.

Communication with Mark was professional and timely, and the guys who did the work (Austin & Kace) were exemplary - personable, professional, helpful, skilled, and efficient. We wont bother calling any other electrician again!

I highly recommend Bodie Electric. They are very honest and respectful. Michael and Derick arrived promptly this morning at 8:00am. They were very polite and professional. I felt very comfortable with the 2 of them in my home. They were very thorough and went over all details with me of the job. They did a great job and were very efficient. They were even willing to do an extra job I asked them to do last minute. I am very particular and they exceeded all of my expectations. I will definitely be calling Bodie Electric for all of my future electrical needs!

This was our first time using Bodie Electric and we are super impressed. They were able to squeeze us in last minute which was so appreciated since we were without hot water. The owner was extremely responsive and helpful and Zach our technician had things fixed in no time—not to mention the reasonable prices. We will definitely be using them again!

Marc returned my call quickly and scheduled an appointment right away. Derek showed up on time, was proficient and professional. He fixed multiple issues around our home. He explained the problem in each instance. I kept throwing new tasks at him, and he was able to resolve everything in a timely manner. Anytime we need an electrician, we will call Bodie Electric!

I was referred by a friend who was also happy with the service. I needed a ballast replaced and an outlet installed at my business. Marc was professional and helpful over the phone. He scheduled the work to be done right away. Ben was on time and courteous. The work was done efficiently. The estimate was right on. He cleaned up after himself. We are very happy and will use them again for future work!

We looked a long while for a good electrician and finally found Bodies Home Electric! Hes done outdoor lighting, installed a lamp post at our front sidewalk, and replaced an attic fan motor on 2 different visits. Both times, he quickly replied to our request for an estimate, was prompt/on time, completed work in a timely manner, and the price for all 3 jobs was extremely reasonable. Bodies will be our go to electrician from now on!

Marc is a rockstar and has earned my trust. He is quick to respond and to show up to the job. When my ceiling fan fell out of my ceiling at 10 pm at night (not Marcs doing!), Marc had someone show up the next day to install it correctly (thank you Zack!). Hes done several different jobs for me and each one makes me feel safer in my home. On top of all that, his pricing is fair.He also provided all of the paperwork my insurance needed. Ive passed his info along to all of my neighbors and would definitely recommend him.

There are never hidden expenses that you get smacked with and many times my final bill is less than was estimated.
