    Excellent Service. Called them after hours in regards to a generator issue that they service for me. Was not expecting an immediate response to my message just wanted to set up a future service call to fix a potential problem. The power had gone out at my house and my newer generator had not fired up. I immediately received a call from Carson and he was willing to come out to my house to assist. I insisted that it wasnt that big of a deal, so instead Carson walked me through trouble shooting the generator over the phone and I got it started. Carson was awesome and I appreciate the quick response to assist me in this situation. Would highly recommend Control Electric.

    Working with the team is phenomenal. They installed a standby generator at my house and upgraded my service panel. Nicole in the office is the perfect coordinator and Dan and his brother and Russ’s nephew are great on the ground doing excellent work. Dan who was the key point of contact at my house was meticulous in his explanation of the work being done and explained thoroughly everything involved in the process. They took great care with all the details of the installation which included proper placement of the generator, working with Consumers Energy and the gas and electric inspectors and all the necessary work for the installation. They set me up with the app to monitor the generator and showed me the important items I needed to be aware of. They also daily monitor my generator remotely to get ahead of any future issues. You should work with Control Electric.

    Did a great job of walking us through the options and getting our generator installed. I had to contact them a time or two throughout the process to make sure we were still on the schedule, as it can take a few weeks between steps, but we got through it and now we have a brand new generator! Very exciting.

    Carson was great. He replaced the filter and ran a power outage test to make sure the generator kicked on. He was courteous and polite. He made the suggestion of a maintenance appointment which we anticipated.

He recommended we get a rodent kit to minimize any damage, which we ordered and will have Carson install it when it arrives. The rodent kit was installed by Carson. It seems to be a success because 3 rodents have already complained that theyre now blocked from getting in the generator.

    I had Control Electric install a whole-house generator a couple years ago and they did an excellent job. Steve came out to the house to discuss the project so he could quote it accurately and I can tell you I did not find him at all rude. He asked all the necessary questions and I had plenty of my own. He was very respectful and answered all my questions, I have nothing but high praise for Steve and his crew. They installed the generator and it works great. Control Electric comes out once a year for preventive maintenance on the generator, they show up when they say they will and are very thorough.

    We have a hundred-year-old house and had Control Electric replace the old service box and go through the thankless task of updating a house full of knob-and-tube wiring. It was a big job, requiring more than two weeks of work, but Dan and Dan did great work and we are very satisfied. They left no unnecessary holes in walls, skillfully fishing the wiring through baseboards and existing openings. The Dans were both professional, courteous, and did everything we needed (including installing new lighting). The total cost was high but still came in a thousand dollars below budget. One of the Dans even came out to fix a faulty outlet after the work had been completed. The city electrical inspector had nothing but high praise for the work. Control Electric was the only company we could find to undertake this tedious job and we are very happy with the results. (Be persistent! During the busy season, C.E. failed to follow up with messages, but once we met and scheduled the job, they stuck to their commitment.)

    Weve had Control Electric complete multiple contracts at our home over the past year and a half. They upgraded the main service feed, wired a new breaker panel, added dedicated circuits for new air conditioning, added outdoor plugs for a new patio, added wiring for a hot tub, added a whole home generator w transfer switch, and fixed all the issues encountered when moving in to a new place. As for Logans 1 star review below. Few electricians want to put someone at risk when a homeowner asks questions then tries to do the work themselves. Logan knows he wouldnt do that, but Steve couldnt know that Logan wouldnt do that and clearly Steve pushed back. Logan felt disrespected, and no one likes that, so I get the 1 star. As for me, I think Steve is great.

    I have used Control Electric before and I continue to find their service above and beyond. From the first call from me to schedule the work, to showing up a few minutes early on the day scheduled, to tackling my varied array of projects from a septic system alarm, to Ring cameras, to adding and fixing outlets, etc. I was 750 miles away from the house at time of service. I got a call to let Carson in and for him to walk through the house and outdoors while I was on the phone to walk through everything. A while later another call from Carson to tell me to check the ring cameras as I should be able to see them on my app. And I could. Since Carson (tech) gave me his cell number, i also called him once with some ideas. Carson told me he added a wedge from the ring doorbell kit to angle the camera for a better view. I never asked him to do that, he just wanted it optimal. But wanted to make sure i could see with the cameras and that i liked the angle. Everything completed, house locked, and no mess anywhere. As great as the scheduling was with Nicole up front, she let me know the minute he was done and wanted to know if I had any questions. Within minutes of him leaving. I could see Carson leaving on my ring camera. If you want it done right and want to feel like your business matters to to the team that takes care of you, you have to try the Control Electric experience.As stated in my first review, Control Electric fixed several problems at my home that other electricians thought were acceptable. They were not acceptable. If you want to hear what could be, call Control Electric.

    Ive just begun using Control Electric to service a standby generator. Control Electric has provided excellent communication and demonstrated excellent knowledge. They couldnt be friendlier. His work is high quality, he demonstrated great knowledge.     Excellent Service! We purchased a new Generac generator from Control Electric in December of 2022. Nicole called me to setup an appointment for the annual maintenance. Carson came out on the scheduled date and time and performed the maintenance. He explained what was included. Carson also came out a couple of weeks later to convert our Generac from LP to Natural gas. Likewise, he was on time and did an excellent job.
