    We needed a ceiling fan installed, a light switch, and two outlets updated in our 100 year old house for our first baby’s nursery. Being young and inexperienced, we wanted to find someone who would teach us what to do, what to look for, etc, and do all of the installation/updating.The owner of Amp, Joe, came out himself to give us a quote. He walked us through and educated us on our house’s wiring, etc., and really took time to teach us about what we were looking at.The two techs, I forgot their names, so I apologize, came out the following week to do the installation/updating, and had it done within 30 minutes, I’m not even kidding. They were extremely polite, efficient, and had great attention to detail. They even put out the yard sign for me, as I’m pregnant and walking these days is quite literally an uphill battle.Thanks, Amp Electric! I found my new electrician for all of our house projects!

    Great experience overall. From the initial quoting to final installation, they team was knowledgeable, efficient and respectful of our space. The install team seemed to have a plan already in place before they showed up and they got right to work. They explained the new system in detail before they left. Overall, I really enjoyed having them do the work and appreciate their personalities.

    Amp is fabulous. They respond promptly to all emails and calls, and provide helpful reminders via text and/or email. Joe was extremely transparent during the free estimate and educated me during it so I understood the work I needed and didn’t need, and why. Warren and Kenton were extremely professional, efficient and knowledgeable. Warren answered all of my questions so that I again understood the work they were doing and why, as well as work I could have completed in the future. Amp is an amazing company and I will definitely be using them again!

    Joey arrived on time and was polite and respectful. He did a great job installing an outlet so I could move my tv. He even patched the hole and cleaned up what little mess he made. Overall it has been great working with Amp and I highly recommend them and would use them again in the future.

    Zac submitted a quote to relocate a bathroom switch and Joey came back to do the work at my grandmas house. I helped coordinate the appointments and all of the staff are very professional, polite and easy to work with. My grandma said Joey was very quick, neat and tidy :) We will definitely call Amp if we have any other electrical needs in the future.

    Had these guys come out to inspect the wiring to my furnace because the hot water heating was leaking and had tripped the breaker to the furnace.Joey was able to identify the problem quickly, which was a water logged wire running to the furnace, and fixed it in less than an hour after he got there! These guys are super easy to work with, efficient, and very affordable! Would rate 6 stars if I could and highly recommend!

    Zach and Kenton installed 30A service for an indoor sauna for us this week. They did a fantastic job with minimal cutting on the drywall. Very courteous and professional. Will definitely call again for any electrical work.

    Joe, Joey, Kenon, and Jencen were fantastic to work with. We had a generator inlet installed, along with a whole home surge protector and labeling of our electrical panel. Scheduling was easy, they showed up on time, were professional, and reasonably priced. They also followed up regarding an unrelated issue very promptly and went out of their way to help us find a resolution. We will definitely contact them for future projects.

    We had Amp out about 10 days ago or so to get an estimate on several smaller projects. We are not electricians and wanted things to be done right. Zac came out and we got the estimate later that day. It was reasonable and he was honest with me about what we wanted to do. Today James and Kent were here on time. They were very nice and explained things to us. They were done and cleaned up in a little over two hours. They completed 5 outlet installations one of which is on a new 20 amp circuit. Couldnt be happier. Will call them again for some other projects they can do inside during the winter.

    UPDATE: A year ago I left the following review. Since then, weve worked with Amp Electric (and numerous other contractors) on several other occasions. Amp Electric is simply the best there is. Great work, great communication, fair pricing, reliable, easy to work with... theyre great at everything.Amp Electric is fantastic! Weve hired them for several different electrical projects lately. Communication is stellar - they return calls/emails promptly, and give very detailed estimates for everything. Jessica is great at following up with questions and coordinating with other vendors. Warren is a terrific electrician - extremely knowledgeable, thorough, and professional. Were renovating an old house right now and working with a lot of different companies, and Amp Electric is the best of the bunch. I would not hesitate to recommend them for any electrical project.

    Warren from Amp was great. Punctual, knowledgeable, and fixed all our issues in one visit. Was about $300 for 2 hours. He had to crawl into our tiny attic space on a 90° day and was chipper about it, as well! Will use Amp again for future electrical needs.

    I had Amp out to do my Ac wiring and Joey did a fantastic job! I wasn’t able to be home and he communicated with me, he was good with my dogs, and he left the home locked up and clean as he found it.     Zac the technician arrived early for the appointment and got to work diagnosing the issue within a few minutes. Of course everyone would hope the issues would not be serious in nature, but Zac was patient and explained the situation clearly. My situation was probably a 5 on a 10 scale but Zac explained his plan and didnt shut me down like some professionals do. When I added a couple items to the check this out list Zac was quick to provide his input and provide what was needed (switch and GFCI combo) and installed the equipment immediately. Definitely recommend Amp Electric and Zac for your project.

    After receiving multiple estimates for wiring up my hot tub, I decided to go with Amp Electric. Warren and Matt were great, on time, and professional. If it was not for the new box on the side of my house and my hot tub running, I would never even know they were there.There were no surprises and everything went as planned.     I’ve use this company twice.Once for a poltergeist in lights in two areas in my house (kitchen and front garage) and a nonfunctional light over the front steps.They were able to quickly exorcise the ghosts from two lights and then diagnose the issue with the third and give an estimate on that (which I’m going to address when I do some remodeling later since it’s not a danger.) And I finally have a consistent kitchen light again which is awesome.The second time (this time) I wanted somebody to install a light and outlet for the back of my house. They came out to do a quote first, and while inspecting the area they’d be putting in the outlet, they noticed an issue they were able to explain to me, they said it should be fixed as it was a safety issue and should be addressed at some point, but did not have to be addressed immediately. They gave me a second quote for that (after that a relative took a look and verified that the work they said needed to be done was valid, and said the quote was reasonable).So today they put in a motion sensor light with a manual override for my backyard (which is a huge relief to be able to see my yard when I let my dogs out at night) and an outlet, and the price was very reasonable, they showed up on time, were very nice and professional. I’ll definitely be calling them when I’m able to address the work for the second quote. Total pros. 🙂
