Our Hot water heater went out on us. I called Mac-Vik around 7:30 am Friday morning. I left a message. I called again around 8:00am and my call was answered right away by a person. They said they could get someone out by 9:00 am. They sent me a text with a photo of Dylan. Dylan arrived at 9:00 and looked like his photo. (Confirming he was the correct person). We showed him the problem. He said they had a replacement in stock. Told me the price. I gave him the go ahead and he got right to work. Dylan was conscientious, polite, knowledgeable, and paid attention to protecting carpet, etc. I was very pleased with the speed and quality of service. The only reason I am not giving 5 stars, was the lack of detail on the invoice. I am accustomed to getting itemized details for a job like this, and it took several days for Mac-Vik to send me a copy of the invoice/receipt. Otherwise I highly recommend the work conducted.

This is your company, call them - use them!!When we moved into our new home, we interviewed multiple companies, unfortunately Mac-Vick wasn’t on our radar yet. All three of the companies came out and were robotic and salesy. We ended up going one of those local HVAC companies and have had multiple issues with the new products they installed.Fast forward a year later, talking to our neighbors about more HVAC problems and they highly recommended we give Mac-Vick a call.From the start, it was a completely different conversation. No long holds or voicemails, but rather someone kind and personable who took our initial call.Come service day, Marius patiently walked me through our equipment, including multiple items not up to code. More than anything, he was patient and provided budget conscious options and helped us walk through the “must do” and the “can wait til later”.As a new home owner, it made a huge difference. We have saved their number in our contacts and will only be using them from now on!

Mac-Vik to the RescueI was shocked to hear that my 7-year-old, high-efficiency furnace needed to be replaced due to faulty installation. The first quote I received was terrifying! So, I met with several other companies and discovered Mac-Vik as a port in the precarious storm. Jeremiah helped me look into warrantee possibilities … but I opted to replace the furnace.On the day of installation, Otis arrived first. With his respectful demeanor and sweet Arkansas drawl, he put me right at ease. Everything was in order and these people were going to take care of me. Two more guys showed up to expedite the process. Tim worked above and beyond dismantling the hack job done previously and then skillfully installed the new furnace. Otis installed a surge protector. Otis and Tim were on the job well past dinner time … and they did it all graciously, showing me everything I needed to know, and leaving a pristinely clean workspace. And the new furnace has several efficient and safety features I’ve never had before. Plus, they corrected inadequate or just plain wrong aspects of the previous install.To say that I’m pleased is an understatement. This company is a gem. Every person I dealt with was professional, friendly, informative, and patiently helped me to make the best decision. I’ve signed up for their maintenance package. They have a customer for life.

Jorge showed up right when he said he was coming and was able to tell us in advance when he was on his way. He took the time that was needed but kept within the appointment time. So he was prompt and efficient to do a routine AC maintenance or tuneup. He did find a problem with the compressor and repaired it. Now our AC is working beautifully (we didn’t really even know there was a problem, but it’s working so well now that we realize there was something wrong with it). Nice guy, I was very comfortable with him in our home. Will definitely be using this outfit again.

From my first phone call they rearranged non emergency appts to accommodate us, since we were without heat. The Technician, Jorge, arrived right on time. I received a text message, including tracking, indicating that he was on his way. When he arrived he introduced himself and upon entering immediately put on shoe protectors to protect our floors. He was dressed and spoke VERY professionally. Jorge was extremely knowledgeable about air conditioners/furnaces/etc. Each and every question we had for him was answered in a professional manner. We were totally impressed by this young man. Being that my biggest pet peeve is customer service, he was #1 in my book. I have a couple other quotes in my hand, and 2-3 more that I’m looking at. The quotes are relatively pretty close, but being that this young man was as professional as I expected, I believe I will put my trust and money in this company. Keep up the outstanding work Jorge. Your customer service, knowledge, and professionalism is “SECOND TO NONE”!THE NEXT DAY (8.AM.)WOW! I just can’t get over how quickly this company took care of us. Had my quote 2 days ago, hired them, and the entire job (a/c and furnace) was done yesterday. Upon arrival they introduced themselves (Erin and Otis), and explained what they were about to do. They started by laying drop cloths from the entrance all the way down to the furnace room. Every part of the furnace (old and new) were carried up/down without hitting a wall (I couldn’t do that). From beginning to the end they were extremely professional and quite friendly. Every question we had for them was answered with the ease of understanding and with the knowledge that they’ve been doing this for years. At the end of the project, Erin explained everything about our new a/c and furnace in a manner that even I could understand; in other words, in layman terms. If it were me I would get one quote and that would be from this company. I went out for 3 quotes and ended up hiring this company – why….the knowledge, the professionalism, and fantastic customer service. All in all, we are extremely satisfied with our new a/c and furnace, and were extremely happy with Erin and Otis. Kudos to these 2 excellent technicians! Thank you Mac-Vik!!!!!

Jorge was great. We had a minor problem which he promptly fixed without trying to up charge us. Would have been 5 star, but I have a problem with the company for charging a fee to come out and then an additional fee for the work. If there was no work, I would certainly understand the initial charge, but if you do work while on the call, the trip charge should be included. Also annoying that they charge you to put the service on a credit card.

Everybody that we spoke with from start to finish was so professional and nice. The appointment was set with a two hour window. At the beginning of that window, I received a call from the office saying that the technician was a little behind and to expect him at the tail end of the window. I really appreciated that so we weren’t on “alert” for two hours. When Jorge arrived, he was smiling, friendly and kind to our barking dog. He got right to work inspecting our furnace. He was thorough and told us what to keep an eye out for. Our furnace is nearing the end of its useful life and we know that. But we also don’t want replace it if we can still get a couple good years out of it. We didn’t even vocalize that but Jorge didn’t try to scare or pressure us into buying anything. He just did his job well and with a smile. We are so pleased with Mac-Vik!

We were able to get a really great deal with them on replacing both a furnace and AC and they even went above and beyond with our requests which included separating the invoices and writing out exactly what was wrong with our old systems so that we could get help from our home warranty company. We had gone through several contractors with our home warranty that were absolutely awful. When we decided to find our own and go with Mac Vik, it was the best decision we couldve made! Matt was the one who did the original assessment and Erin installed it. Overall they all did a great job!

I called Mac-Vik at 203pm today due to moms furnace being out due to the wind and power outage in Golden. I attempted to get the furnace to ignite by shut down and start up 4 times but finally threw in the towel. Mom needed heat after all.I cant remember who I spoke with on the phone initially but she was extremely courteous, pleasant and accommodating. In a matter of minutes, she checked the techs schedules and had William to moms door within the window of time promised (300pm - 330pm). A service call of $89.00 was quoted which is more than fair and reasonable.When William showed up, he was extremely polite and professional and seemed to immediately know what the issue was. He was correct. I felt silly because it was a simple fix but he is the professional and I would have never thought of the solution. He stayed to make sure everything was operating correctly before he left. We conversed in the mean time and he is a highly intelligent and caring person.My mother is elderly and she has been taken advantage of by contractors and service technicians in the past which upsets me. Theres a high probability that other companies pay based on commission which allows them to prey on unknowing individuals for more personal profit. I can assure you that was not the feeling we had with Mac-Vik. Honesty, integrity and morals seem to be lost with businesses these days but I guarantee that Mac-Vik will be our go to from here on out after just one experience with them.Seniors and sons and daughters of seniors, and everyone else for that matter, do not hesitate doing business with Mac-Vik.

I knew that I could replace my unsafe, bad operating “Instinct Triangular Tube” boiler/water heater combo, installed by a different company, with safer/more energy efficient, and better operating units and by knowledgeable service installers!Collin and Lane came a week later to install the units. They made great use of their time and in two days they replaced the lousy units and did an excellent job of installing the energy efficient boiler and water heater! Clean up was perfect. I will be glad to call MacVik again and if Collin or Lane are sent out, I will be fortunate. I’ve also found MacVik employees to be friendly and able to answer any and all concerns and questions. Ive used Mac-Vik for boiler service at my business in town and was always happy with their service. So I immediately contacted them about our furnace in our canyon home and was thrilled they service my home area. Alex answered my call and got me scheduled for the next day and recommended Xcel come up in the mean time to check for leaks, as my family and I were smelling exhaust from the furnace. Xcel confirmed a couple small leaks on the furnace and left 4 space heaters with us for free! Matt A. came out the next day and spent more than an hour with me and our furnace testing for carbon monoxide in addition to gas, finding the issue, answering my questions, and giving me our options. Our unit was 15 years old, but Matt told me we could fix it or get a new furnace. I never felt any pressure to buy a new furnace or even a top of the line unit, but given the age of the furnace and the discount/warranty they offered, it made the most sense to replace the furnace. Matt gave me our options on different priced units and ultimately helped me choose the best unit for our square footage of our home without breaking the bank. Elijah and Troy came out two days later to install our new furnace. They were polite, professional, and got the job done in half a day, as promised. Everyone we have been in contact with was fantastic and Im happy to have a new unit with a company that really cares about their customers.

Matt serviced the two furnaces in our home and informed us that we had the wrong controller for our 2-stage furnaces. He installed those, as well as a 2-stage thermostat, and everything is now working more efficiently. Matt is very knowledgeable and eager to keep us up to date on the issues and how to solve them.

We had our new furnace installed 9/2023, there were some unusual cuts required due to improper installation of previous furnace and they had to make 2 trips (approx. 1 hr each way). Laine was the installer and he made it all work with a smile... Alan coordinated and was very professional. Highly Recommend Mac-Vik!!
