    Im so grateful a friend recommended Erik and C&E Builders. The entire team is top-notch. From bidding the job through to the final touch-up details, I couldnt be more happy with the experience. Each of the various teams that worked on our project, from hardscape, electrical, plumbing, landscape, turf, etc. were always punctual, professional and very friendly. Their attention to detail put my worries at ease and their kind demeanor meant they were pleasant to have around. Even when the inevitable project/scope changes came up, Erik was very easy to work with and helped us understand the cost/benefits of the various options. Ultimately, C&E Builders helped us transform our small yard from whatever to WOW. Theres no question, well be using C&E Builders again.

    We cannot say enough about C&E. They worked with us through the design process and were so patient!     We had our backyard remodel bid by two companies. Both were in the same pricing ballpark, but we could tell that Erik had a clear vision of what we were trying to accomplish. The results are incredible! He had the same professional crew on time every day, which is nice when you open up your home to strangers.     If you have been searching for a pool builder, stop right here and call C&E Builders, we used them to build out our pool + backyard and we couldn’t recommend them enough!     We have had our pool for a little over a year and still very pleased with C&E Builders. From the design stage, Eric and Jose did an amazing job working up a plan for our backyard which looked incredible. After award, they started almost immediately and the C&E crew worked quickly and efficiently to get the project completed in a timely fashion. Jose and Eric were out at the site almost every day to check on the progress and ensure everything was going smoothly. Any warranty concerns after the job was completed have also been addressed super fast with no issues at all. Overall I highly recommend Christa, Erik, Jose and the rest of the team for any pool or backyard projects!

    We found Erik and C&E builders after months of frustrating appointments with other pool builders. He was our 11th estimate. Our backyard posed some challenges with a large water basin that all previous pool builders interviewed had a hard time navigating and instilled little to no confidence. Erik and Jose came out and looked at our backyard and explained exactly what they could do. Erik was confident and happy to take on our project. We moved forward with him and could not be happier with the end product. He captured our vision and made it something more than we could have hoped for. Erik was fair, communicative and so easy to work with. His crew was always happy to accommodate last minute changes and would go above and beyond to meet our needs. Erik definitely helped us get the most for our money. We could recommend Erik and C&E builders to everyone seeking a custom pool build. 10/10.

    We are so happy with the work of C&E Builders!Our first impression of C&E Builders was from seeing them on our street as they were working on a remodel for our neighbor on their backyard updates and I was impressed with how their staff conducted themselves with neighbors. They were friendly and kept our street clean.We had remodeled our backyard 2 years earlier and we were not happy with some of the shortcuts our previous contractor had used that we questioned during the process. On a whim, we had Erik look at our backyard and he said the same things we had been feeling. After talking with us for just a few minutes, he brought over samples within a couple days that were beautiful and created the vision we had hoped for with our previous contractor.We quickly signed the quote and due to a delay on another project, they were able to start right away. Erik and his team were able to install a sump pump, fix the waterline tile, stone, countertops, correct the previous mistakes of the previous contractor and really make our backyard stand out! Erik suggested the LED fireplace versus our previous gas fireplace that was not attractive and a danger with kids. The finished product is so much better than we envisioned.When there was an issue with a countertop, Erik apologized for the delay, but wanted it to be right. In the past, contractors weve had have tried to gloss over imperfections, but not Erik. He treated our backyard like his own and really went above and beyond.The whole process was quick and his team was always prompt, efficient and cleaned up every day. We were very impressed with his team as you could tell they really took pride in their work and did it right the first time. They were the best we have ever had the pleasure to work with at our home. We highly recommend C&E Builders and our only wish is we would have found them earlier and they would have done our whole backyard from start to finish.

    I cant start to tell you how AMAZING C&E Builders were to work with. We have hired contractors in the past and have had literally the worst experience with previous contractors that didnt finish jobs and have left us high and dry. Erik and his crew were the BEST we have ever dealt with. I cant thank them enough for our pool, outdoor kitchen, waterfall and media wall that they built for us. It turned out unbelievably better than we could of EVER imagined and I cant thank Erik and his crew enough. We chose C&E because of their track record in really listening to what clients wanted. Very upfront with pricing and the process. Any time I had a question, someone addressed it. No surprises, which with most contractors is to be expected. Jose did an amazing job creating a vision for our property. He took my ideas, expanded on them and we couldnt be happier. This company uses all of their own crew for everything. This allows them to be on time, every day and they see thing thru from start to finish. They showed up at 6am on the day of our closing and worked practically every day to get us to a point to where we had grass in the back for my pups. They finished in the time frame we were given and they came in on budget. They are worth every single penny!!

    Erik and C&E provided our family with the absolutely best landscape design and execution hands down for our backyard. We have worked with other companies before- large and independent, and have always had troubles with communication and design shortcomings. When talking with Erik initially, he completely understood our vision and designed an amazing backyard that stayed within our budget. He is amazing with his communication and started and finished projects extremely quickly with high quality work. We had a few punch list items that he took care of and now our backyard is everything we dreamed of. We have a beautiful pool and spa, pergola, in ground trampoline, travertine patio and decking, and really great looking artificial turf. Erik makes sure to design something unique in his projects so you don’t get a cookie cutter project. He really takes care of his clients and stands behind his work. I highly recommend C&E and appreciate the company’s professionalism, friendliness, solid communication, and efficient, beautiful work.

    Eric and his team did outstanding work and completed on time. Each crew was supervised very well with great coordination. Was super easy to communicate with. Sent me text updates as to what crews where coming and when. He personally made visits and knew I had certain expectations that he overwhelmingly met. He went as far as adding touches that ended up making our pool project develop into over the top as his ideas enhanced the project to tie into our fabulous outdoor kitchen.If I could have rated him 10 stars I would have given him that rating with confidence.     Working with Erik from C&E Builders restored our total loss of confidence in Arizona contractors. After being burned several times by contractors who don’t show up, overcharge, deliver poor quality, and never finish; we waded into the waters slowly with C&E. We started with a portion of our very large backyard project, and upon seeing the results and professionalism, we gave more and more to C&E. They installed coping, waterline tile, and glass mosaic underwater stools and accents in the pool. If you are doing a pool, reach out to them. Don’t just take the standard and pick pool tile at National Pool Tile (NPT). Use Erik and check out Meridian Pool Tile. You will get something unique for the same or less money. Our pool came out amazing and doesn’t look like anyone else’s.Considering the pool job, we used Erik for our entire landscape. Over 120 trees, shrubs, and vines, with artificial turf, travertine and LED lighting. It looks beautiful. Remarkably, almost everything survived being planted in 110 degree temps. The crew was great, everyone could communicate, and we were included in the entire process. Can’t say enough good things about our experience. We are hard people to please when big money is being spent. We are pleased. Were are now having Erik compete a ramada that was not finished by another contractor. We are hopeful and will write a supplemental review when they’re done. We are hoping they continue to achieve at such a high level for such a moderate cost.Thanks Erik! We love our yard now.

    We were very skeptical on hiring a new crew to rectify the mess our previous contractors left us with. Erik, Christa and the team consistently go above and beyond our expectations...EVERY TIME. They have done numerous jobs in our home through the years and have unselfishly turned our visions into reality. They are by far the best in the valley, hands down.     Our experience with most building contractors had been “horrible at best” until we worked with Erik Helm and the team at C&E Builders. This is how an experience should be when you hire a contractor to work on your home. We installed a large, four-panel sliding door in the rear of our house which required removal of a French door, fireplace and window. The challenge was that we wanted to physically remove 3 of 6 weight-bearing pillars on our patio and replace the remaining three wrapped-stucco pillars with new, modern, sleek steel. This was no problem for C&E, and the final combination of the new door, with tongue and grove ceiling, all new lighting, Sonos audio and no pillars transformed a dated, builder stock patio into a spectacular outdoor living space. What I most appreciated was that from start to finish the communication was strong. I understand that our job was not the only one that C&E was working, but Erik was always accessible and accountable if we had a question or concern. The crew started on time, showed up every day, and if they were going to be even 15 minutes late, Erik let us know in advance. We had a schedule, a plan and a budget, and the job finished within spec to the final detail. Workers were specialists, and each one knew what his role was each day. There was no standing around or down time - the total job operated like a well-oiled machine. Each morning Erik was personally on site to survey the job, provide us with a status report and answer questions. They even tolerated my father-in-law standing around the job all day, critiquing the work and making suggestions. At the end of the day, the work was excellent, the price was appropriate, and the experience was low stress. We were so happy with C&E that I am already having Erik quote us for two more projects.
