    Our technition, Mark, arrived ahead of schedule after first calling to confirm. He was extremely professional and helped us diagnose the issue with our thermostat so that our heat could be restored. He gave us lots of helpful tips and info about our boiler system and radiators. We will be using ARS for our routine maintenance! They were fast, affordable, and great to work with!

    I filled out some type of HVAC service provided in my area form and as soon as I completed the form I got a call from ARS saying they could get a tech out to me today. The tech was prompt kind courteous and honest. He advised my furnace was working but did show me pictures of the current issues with the furnace. I have a tech that can do an estimate to replace the furnace coming out later today. The furnace is over 25 years old so I am sure it does need replaced.

    The ARS installers arrived at my house promptly after their phone announcement. Both men were professional and courteous. They explained the new thermostat system and furnace system. After the installation, they cleaned out the debris and my basement was left spotless. I am very pleased with the work and recommend ARS to anyone considering purchasing and installing a new furnace.

    Everyone from Damon who came out to do our estimate to Justin who came to do the install was phenomenal. Everyone is so nice and was helpful throughout the entire process! Out unit (from 1989) broke last week and they were at our house the same day to do the estimate and our new unit was installed less than a week later! Would 100% recommend to anyone needing a new unit or needing theirs repaired!

    What can I honestly say. It was refreshing to work with a business that stuck to their word, they were on time, delivered more than what was promised, and actually helped me to choose the product that was most beneficial for me. Overall incredible experience, and they quoted me and installed an entire HVAC system within 3 days of calling them which is just incredible.

    Amazing! I called this morning at 7 am because our AC was acting up and we were expecting to have 90 degree weather all week. They made me an appointment and technician, Rich, was here by 10. He was awesome. Diagnosed the problem in under 10 minutes and had it fixed in 20 min pumping out cold air. He was friendly, credible and extremely efficient. I hope I don’t need to see him again anytime soon—but if we have another HVAC issue, I’ll definitely call ARS.

    They installed a new HVAC system today to replace my 35 year old system which had lost all of its efficiency! Both men were very knowledgeable and experienced in HVAC replacement. They completed the job right on schedule, took the old parts away and cleaned up any mess, all at a fair price. Then they explained all the improvements in my new system and how everything works!     We recently had ARS install a new Carrier Infinity A/C , furnace and thermostat. Could not be more pleased with the installation and operation of the unit.Chase and Garret did the installation. It took one day. Both were professional , courteous, knowledgeable and particular to detail.As I am writing this review it is 94 degrees outside but very comfortable inside. Unit is very quiet. Don’t even know it running. Glad we chose ARS and the Carrier equipment.

    I bought a mini split system two years ago that I didnt really wind up using for a while. When I tried to use it this summer, it wasnt blowing cold. If I HAD used the split system within the first year, the installation would have been under guarantee/ warranty, but I waited two years so I kind of screwed myself. I called up ARS because they installed it, and they came out and said it was a refrigerant leak. They said they wouldnt really know how much it would cost to fix until they found where the leak actually was at and that 10 pounds of refrigerant alone would cost $2000 - not including the cost of a leak check and whatever the repair was. I am not wealthy, that is a TON of money just to get started, so I told them I couldnt afford that and didnt want to go forward with the repairs. I was upset about it being barely used and having a leak already - but I dont think it was ARSs fault, more likely it was just defective equipment from Carrier that IS under warranty, except for the refrigerant itself. I had NO IDEA that refrigerant is so unbelievably expensive. I thought it would be like $600, not $2000! Anyway, ARS gets five stars from me because even though I told them I could NOT afford the repairs and that I should never have bought the minisplit system in the first place - its a luxury, not a necessity - they really spent quite a bit of time still helping me out, talking to me on the phone when I was having a meltdown over costs and really showed that they care a lot about customer retention and the community. They performed a leak check just to find out exactly where the leak was so that they could give me a true estimate so that I know how much I have to save up to have AC again, and I really appreciate it. I dont know any other company - in any industry - that does such a great job listening to customers and really going above and beyond to really help people out. Ken was really great over the phone and the GM who helped me out was also really great - all the technicians were nice and friendly even as I was having a hard time thinking about what a bad financial decision the mini split system had been for me in the first place. I will definitely use them again for maintenance on my furnace and when I finally cough up the money to replace the refrigerant.

    We just had an attic ac unit installed to supplement another unit. My wife is very particular about aesthetics on how things look and where vents are placed. John and Nikko were awesome working with her and us to make sure we were consulted and agreed with everything. Consistent phone calls, texts and pictures arrived to make sure we understood what was going on while we were working. Great job!Update (May 2023), ARS came back out a year later to add another duct to an upstairs room that was not getting enough heat/cold in the coldest / warmest months. My wife and I fully expected to be charged but we were NOT. We’re very impressed with the company, technicians, etc. We strongly recommend them.

    My AC unit stopped working over the weekend. I called ARS first thing Monday morning and a technician was out within hours. He diagnosed the problem quickly and provided me with the cost and timeline for repairs very quickly as well. Mark, the technician, was professional and thorough. Right now, I’m extremely pleased with their service and responsiveness. I’ll write another review once the unit is fixed!

    I used ARS for a furnace tune up. This was the first time ever doing this as I’m a new homeowner. The office staff was great and got me an appointment same day! The tech that came out was super courteous, professional, and helpful. He expressed that he encourages people to watch him through the process so they know exactly what is going on and there are no surprises or mistrust, which I very much appreciated. He was honest about the age and shape my furnace was in and upfront about any cost if I needed to replace a part and that because of the age, it really wasn’t worth it. A few days later, my furnace started leaking and I panicked. Called them and someone came out next day. It turns out, the tech forgot to connect a hose back after the tune up. The tech that came out to fix the issue checked 3 times to make sure everything was back and working smoothly before he left and there was no charge to me since it was an error on their part! I was so relieved. People make mistakes, so it was not a big deal to me. I am just happy that they took responsibility for their mistake and corrected it so promptly. Both of the techs that came out were so helpful and answered all of the questions I had. I had a pleasant experience with not only the techs but also the office staff. Everyone was on time and efficient unlike other places that will make you wait all day. Would 100% recommend them and am going to continue using ARS in the future!

    ARS is very professional, timely, and the service is excellent. I have been using ARS for many years and highly recommend them. Rich the technician was excellent, extremely knowledgeable, and discussed issue of the AC Unit. I trusted his feedback. Other companies would have topped off the refrigerant. He recommended not doing that and see if I get a summer out of my old AC unit, and purchase one at the end of the season, when prices are down.

    Put in a call for an emergency furnace diagnosis and possible repair. Received a thorough inspection of system at reasonable emergency rate. After finding an obvious part needing replacement he then went further and removed that part to find the more significant issue with the furnace heat exchanger being cracked.     Great experience working with ARS Pittsburgh. I had a 1988 AC condenser/system that I monitored every spring. This year’s tune up, by a tech from ARS, revealed an issue with the temperature and pressures of the refrigerant line. The obvious recommendation was to install a new unit as a repair of the old unit with R22 refrigerant would cost a lot (perhaps the same as a new unit). The next day from the tune up another associate came by to provide a free estimate for a new unit with different options based on cost and efficiency. Happy to say that ARS worked with me on getting a new unit that fit my budget and my request to install the AC condenser in a different location. Within 36 hours of giving them the green light to go with the installation, I got my new unit installed, where I wanted it. I 100% recommend working with ARS for your HVAC needs.

    These guys are great. And they are great every time frankly. I used to try to use plumbers and heating and cooling guys that are a little bit more independent, but I constantly got screwed. People wouldn’t return messages, prices were all over the board, and people didn’t show up to do the work when they said they were going to. But every time I call Roto Rooter, Mr. Rooter, and ARS, they answer the phone, they give me a quote that isn’t crazy, and they show up and do the work, and, the work is good. So I’m very very pleased. As a side-note, as we move into a more green minded era, I used these guys to install a couple of those mini splits in my house to take the place of an old boiler furnace, and I couldn’t be happier with them. Consider them for your purposes when you’re deciding what to do about an old furnace. I’m glad I did.

    We have been using ARS for our annual servicing of the AC in the spring and Furnace and Aprilaire humidifier in the fall for many years. They really care for their Customers, are professional and keep in touch with you with a reminder call about the appointment and on the day they call me 15 minutes before the tech will arrive at my home.The cost for the services are reasonable and the technicians are always professional. They have clearly marked vans, the techs wear a uniform and introduce themselves so that the name matches with who you are expecting. The techs also wear booties so that they do not drag dirt around our home. Last winter my furnace broke and I needed it replaced. ARS was the cheaper of the 3 quotes I got, and they also adjusted schedules so that I could get a furnace installed next day. They wanted to make sure we would not endure a cold home too long. I recommend them 100% and will continue to use them for all my HVAC needs.

    This company was quite good to work with, I contacted them after seeing the high reviews on Angi. The appraisal was detailed, and they were honest about pricing. I was given a very competitive rate, and selected them to replace my furnace and AC system.
