Smitson Indoor Air has gone above and beyond while servicing our home on more than one occasion. They are an honest, reliable company that truly cares about helping their customers. Danny went out of his way on his own time to install a digital thermostat in our home while he was here to fix a major issue. In addition to excellent customer service, they are competitively priced and, in our experience, will repair whatever issues they can instead of just replacing parts/units in order to save the customer money.

If I could give Smitson Indoor Air 10 stars I would! They are just wonderful! When our HVAC unit first went out, it was a weekend and Candis answered on the second ring and had Danny out to our house within a couple of hours and got us back up and running. Unfortunately, our issue was unable to be repaired and we had to have a whole system replacement. They gave us many options and price ranges as well as financing options. We decided to wait and pay cash and when I called Candis and told her we were ready to move forward, she had us scheduled for instal the following morning! The guys arrived promptly at the beginning of the arrival window I was given and were very professional and courteous while in our home. It was like having family over for the day that just happened to be fixing some stuff while they were here. I cannot say enough good things. If you are looking for a company you can trust, call Smitson Indoor Air. You wont regret it.

Just wanted to say that this was the best and most affordable HVAC service that I have ever had to have done. I had previously called another company about my AC having an issue. 3 separate times they came out and never fixed my problem yet I had to pay 2 out of the 3 times. I became fed up and called Smitson Indoor Air. Charlie shows up thunderstorm overhead and within minutes my unit was functioning as it should with no issues days later. Great service and knowledge of their profession. He brought all the proper equipment to get the job done the right way. I would highly recommend them before calling anyone else.

Smitson to save the day! I had been without AC for 2 months (in the summer!) dealing with my Home Warrantys awful local contractor. Once I decided to move on from them, I called Smitson and they came out super quick (before I left for vacation) to give me a quote for a whole new system . Within a week of being back from vacation I had a whole new system up and running! The pricing was very competitive and Jason and the techs that came out to install were very professional and personable. I definitely recommend calling them for your HVAC needs.

I have nothing but great things to say about these guys. They are honest, thoughtful, hard working, and meticulous. Charlie Smitson is a true professional who cares about people whether they work for him or hes working for them. Nobody ever wants to have to call the HVAC guy, but in the event you do, Smitson is the company.My house is almost 100 years old with an upstairs that was converted from the attic. The original Amana died at about 45 years old. Charlie came out himself to assess the situation and had a very reasonable bid within two days. He stayed on budget and completed the job immediately after the equipment became available. Within an hour after competition my wife and I enjoyed a cool house. The installation quality with the pads, wiring, piping, tape, and warranty show that this company cares and stands by their work.

I appreciate the HVAC professionals at Smithson Indoor Air. Our gas furnace went out late on a Thursday night and we called and left a message for Smithson. They called first thing Friday morning and arranged a service call to our home. Once it was determined a new furnace was our best option, Smithson’s owner went to Lexington to pick up the unit and promised us it would be installed that afternoon in order to make sure we had heat. The best people that I have talked to in this industry so far. I know and have experienced the hard way how technicians and their companies lie to you or upsell at your cost. Finally got Charlie to come over for a third opinion to inspect a my HVAC unit which quit working this winter. While the verdict so far had been to replace the unit from a few of the popular companies, he inspected the unit and found the faulty part in no time. Replaced the part and the unit was up and running. I had to go through the struggle of having no heat for sometime, as I resisted the urge of replacing an old unit, which I always felt was still mechanically sound and had some more life left in it. None of the popular companies explanations sounded anywhere close to logical. Charlie and crew has been punctual, honest, reliable, trustworthy and very knowledgeable. They do their work at very competitive cost. Would highly recommend him and his crew for any HVAC repair, maintenance and installation. Thank you Charlie and team! It was good talking to you as well. They go above and beyond, not just in their work but in their community.We are the recipients of a brand new (and much needed) HVAC System, courtesy of Smitsons enormous generosity. They selected my wife as a winner of their annual giveaway, that gives back to those helping the community in some way (she is pretty amazing). There arent enough thank yous to come close to being enough.Also, theyre super professional, timely, and do amazing quality work. Mr. Charlie and his family was a Blessing to me and my family. I needed a. Air new system and my co- workers found out about the give away that Smitson was doing. I looked up HVAC services in my area to find great reviews about Smitson. I called and on the first call, it was answered by Charlie. I told Charlie about my heating problem and he offered to come the SAME day! Unfortunately, it was me that couldn’t make that day work so, he worked me in first thing the next morning. Charlie was right on time, professional, courteous, and found the problem within minutes. Charlie had parts with him and fixed it right away. With the service I received, I expected to pay big bucks! However, Charlie was VERY affordable and reasonable. I will use Charlie for all my future HVAC needs!

Couldnt say enough good things about this company. Our blower motor went out overnight (when it was 10 degrees). They were at our house within a couple hours, had it fixed in about 45 minutes, and were less than half the price of what other companies quoted. Very friendly, clean, upfront, knowledgeable, and fair. Will definitely call these guys again if we ever need it, (hopefully we dont)

We’ve had issues with our A/C having low air flow upstairs and our air filter staying drenched. The company that installed the unit came out four different times and could not figure out the problem. I called Charlie who was able to troubleshoot the problem in about 5 minutes and saved me a small fortune. He’s been great to work with and is extremely responsive.
