They were very detailed and asked me many questions to make sure I was comfortable with the look of things before proceeding. My house was struck by lighting and the team at Cox did their best to keep me informed and abreast of a tricky situation. I appreciated their electricians knowledge and patience with me as I followed him around and asked 1000 questions as he tried to work. Usually not one to do so but I had no idea what questions to even ask, and he wad MORE than helpful. They installed the lights that blew out and even offered to clean the drywall crumbs from installation. Couldnt ask for a better service.

The guys arrived in the time frame they scheduled. They were very friendly, careful, and did clean work. After the crew left, I had a (user error) issue with the power to my dryer, so I called and explained the issue. They quickly scheduled another technician to come out and take a look. Turned out my dryer vent was shorting the dryer causing the breaker to flip. The technician explained why the breaker was flipping, and explained what he did to correct the issue, free of any extra charge. He was very friendly, and the information he provided was easy to understand. Very good decision going with Cox Electric, and if I have any other electrical needs I will reach back out for the work. I highly recommend Cox Electrical Services. From start to finish they provided excellent customer service. I needed same day service and called several companies who told me to be able to come out same day, I would have to pay an extra emergency fee. I called Cox and was told they could come same day and there would be no extra fee- just their standard fee which was very affordable and fair. They told me the techs would be by between 12-4pm. They were prompt and showed up at 2:00pm. The techs were kind, courteous and dealt with my barking dogs! They found the problem quickly and were able to fix it even quicker. Again, a seamless process from start to finish. We will definitely be reaching out to them in the future should he need any additional work done! Great Job! 👏🏼

Once the electrical inspection takes place, they will return to install the two exterior light fixtures which will totally complete this project.Follow up- After the electrical inspection took place, Cox dispatched an electrician to install the fixtures. The work was completed in a timely and professional manner. This project is now completed. I recommend that Cox Electric is included on any bids for electrical work as they did a good job for me.

Best part as a new business owner is no sticker shock. Did exactly what I needed nothing extra. I lost all electricity to my home at about 9:30 am on New Years Day. I have some medical problems and am on oxygen 24 hours a day. My home oxygen concentrator is electrical so therefore I could not use it so I switched to my oxygen tank, but it has a limited amount of oxygen, so I needed help right away. When I lost electricity, I called a neighbor to make sure she had electricity and she did. I went out to check the braker box and found that there was smoke and sparks coming from it. I had never had electrical problems before so I tried to look up a phone number on the internet, but was unable to because my router wasnt working. I called my neighbor again and she found your number on her internet. I do not remember the name of the guy who came out, but he was at my home at about 10:30. He was very concerned about the problem and said that it was not fixable (all of the wires in the box were burned and a hole was even burned through the medal in the back of the box) and that the braker box would need to be replaced. He went to Home Depot to buy all of the parts and had it replaced by 3:00. After he replaced it, he even labeled every braker in the braker box to help me if I had any problems later. I am very grateful to him. I do not normally review businesses, but was so thankful to these people I felt I needed to. My address is 1609 Park Lane.

I am so incredibly grateful for Cox Electric. During the huge Texas ice storm this week, we were without power for several days. When the power came back on, our electric service panel started sparking and smoking. We called the fire dept. who came to our rescue but power had to be cut by the electric company until we could get our service panel and all of the wiring rebuilt. James at Cox Electric braved sub-freezing temperatures for several hours to come to our rescue and get us back up and running safely. I reached out to Cox about a transformer in my attic that was making a humming sound. At first I believed it to be a part of my new A/C install until I traced the cable as far as I could. I was worried about the sound and what it could mean. After sending them an email with my description of the problem, I had a response from James. He asked for a picture and said that it was mostly likely a low voltage transformer, probably the doorbell. I sent him a picture and tried tracing the cable even further. He was correct and saved me from the charge of them coming to my home to provide this same information. I appreciate the assistance and not billing me for something that would have taken a professional less than 5 minutes to inspect. Ill definitely come to them when I need some electrical work done.
