Steve is great and I highly recommend for all of your home electric needs. He came out and spent a good deal of time with me understanding my various projects and needs and provided free quotes for everything. Once the work was agreed on he was very accommodating with scheduling, showed up on-time and didnt just get the job done but explained everything in great detail ensuring that I understood what goes into making a home electrical system safe. He was extremely professional, worked efficiently, and left the house better than he found it. Im excited to work with Steve again on my future projects!!

Steve and his crew were excellent and provided the best service, absolutely top notch. His prices were fair and not excessive in any way. The only objection I had was Steve himself that day seemed to have had some bad food the night before or maybe he was drinkin Milwaukees Best. Not sure if he even knew we noticed when he blew a silent one and it decimated the whole lower level of our house. We had to open every window.

From the first time we met Steve, we knew we wanted to work with him. His passion for electrical work is so cool, it made my husband and I feel like our house was in good hands. We received multiple quotes and Steve was by far the most thorough in making sure we got exactly what we needed and was very competitively priced. Requested a quote from Steve along with two other electrical contractors. Steve provided a quote and detailed explanation of work, unlike the competition. Timely, competitive pricing and professional work. Our vintage 1958 home required retrofit reinstall of in-soffit lighting, can light install in family room and kitchen and hall bath fan installation. All work was done with pride and cleanliness. I highly recommend Steve for your home or business. Trustworthy and recommended without reservation!

We were having issues with our electric. There would be circuit breakers popping, especially when we tried to use the microwave and oven together. We had always had problems with our bathroom outlets. The hair dryers would pop the breaker every time. Since the house was 28 years old and after consulting with a friend of ours who had replaced his own electrical box, he suggested we have an electrician give us a professional evaluation of our situation. Through Google and Yelp we found Steve. After examining our situation, he told us what he felt needed to be done. After his explanation we decided to upgrade from a 100 amp box to a 150 box and replace the code required outlets with the correct GFCI outlets. WHAT A DIFFERENCE!! In doing the work, Steve also discovered that there wasnt a ground rod that would ground a lightning strike if one ever occurred. When the house was built, apparently it was not required. I am glad we did this in light of all the lightning we have been experiencing lately. One can never be to safe! Steve is a complete professional. The quality of his work is outstanding. he explained everything to us clearly and was very patient with our lack of knowledge. I have no reservations about calling him again to do any additional work on our home. On top of all this, Steve is a kind, energetic and positive individual. I give him 5 stars and you should check him out!

I couldnt be happier with my experience with Steve Martin Electric. The initial phone call was handled professionally and with a lot of courtesy. Steve was punctual and communicated his arrival time as the appointment approached. He listened to my needs and gave me exactly what I asked for. He masked and covered the area around the work so as to protect my fireplace mantel and hearth stone with a lot of care. He also cleaned everything up before he left. The prices were fair and the work exceeded my expectations. He will be my first and only call for future needs.

Steve is the best! I called and got an estimate over the phone to install two new boxes for fans and replace an existing light. He was here less than a week later right on time and completed the work quickly. He left the rooms clean and everything looked and worked just as expected! We paid exactly what was discussed and his prices are fair and MUCH more reasonable than estimates I got from larger companies like ABC, Mendel and Ideal. So happy we went with Steve and we will only use him for our electrical needs moving forward.

I had a single bulb socket in my pantry that was ancient and falling out of the ceiling. I didnt feel comfortable replacing it myself so I started Googling and found Steve. He took the time to explain the wiring to me and showed me how he installed the new fixture. Very knowledgeable and personable! Not too expensive.

Extremely happy with the work Steve did for us. He replaced an old panel with double-tapped circuits with a new panel ready for expansion. As others have mentioned, Steve works tirelessly, professionally, and took the time to answer any questions I had.
