We recently had a renovation completed by DMV Kitchen and Bath and we are extremely happy with the results. The office staff, the crew and the project mangers were very professional, responded quickly to any emails and went above and beyond to make sure our master bath was everything we wanted. The crew was very patient and took time to verify changes we had made along the way. Our vision was brought to life and we are extremely satisfied. We would definitely use them again for any future projects.

DMV Kitchen and Bath just finished the second project at our home. The first in late 2022 was a major upgrade and enlargement of a primary bathroom and creation of a walk-in closet. We love it and it turned out gorgeous. The second project was finished in November 2024 and the results are even better. We needed to repair a room in the basement that had had water damage. We decided to include a variety of other updates for our home at the same time. DMV worked closely with us to bring our vision into existence. In the basement we now have a new fourth bedroom, including 2 large new closets along with new lighting, paint and doors in other rooms on that level. The large laundry room was gutted with new kitchen cabinets and pantries installed along with new lighting. The other 2 bathrooms in the house were upgraded to the same vanities and cabinets as the primary bathroom. Javier provided great assistance helping us with the design, selection of materials, and practicality of various ideas and solutions. David, as leader of the construction crew, was exceptionally good at communicating with us and coordinating and supervising all of the workers involved in the project. David and his staff did great work. We are very pleased with the final project. We highly recommend DMV.

DMV Kitchen and Bath was amazing! This is the second time they worked on a bathroom for me. Lucas, the designer, kept me constantly updated on the dates for the installs and promptly answered my questions about the work being done. William, the installer/craftsman, did absolutely gorgeous work especially on the wood paneling. They were both amazing to work with and I will definitely be going back to them for more future projects.

DMV just finished re-doing the entire first floor of our duplex in DC and we are more than delighted with the result. They redid the kitchen, the powder room, installed new hardwood floors, removed cabinets and shelving in LR and painted the entire first floor. It is beautiful and they more than realized our vision. Furthermore they stayed on schedule and were pleasant and professional throughout. We will be using them again next year to re-do the entire second floor, including two bathrooms and all closets, flooring, lighting, etc.

I decided to remodel my 10 years old kitchen on the fall of 2018. I visited different show rooms (Home Depot, Lowes and discount cabinets), and none of them offered anything “NEW” that I have already seemed on similar showrooms. Then, I was refereed to DVM cabinets from a friend who pointed out that it is not the recognized brand name of the store that makes a great kitchen rather the material, designed, and labor touch.I could not agree more with that statement. Javier and his team at DMV kitchen&bath were marvelous. Javier was very knowable about new kitchen’s trends, the pro and cons about current kitchen designs and resale value. Upon that, the DMV team was able to improve what I had visualized and went above and beyond to bring my dream kitchen to a reality.I could not be happier with the final results. We contacted DMV to renovate the kitchen and master bedroom of our new house, as well as to install a new 2nd story deck. From the very beginning the staff and management displayed a high level of professionalism and responsiveness. Javier in particular was stand out in his attention to detail and his organization on the projects. Despite the difficulties of managing a project through a pandemic, the team at DMV kitchen delivered above our expectations. Everyday they were onsite they did their best to maintain a clean environment and always cleaned up after themselves. The finishing was immaculate and the attention to detail was impressive. We will definitely be using them on our next project.

We were extremely happy with our kitchen renovation by DMV Kitchen and Bath. This was a total removal of the previous kitchen and a full rebuild with all new wood floor, cabinets, countertops, tile backsplash, appliances, lighting, and paint. From Ivans initial visit for the estimate to the last detail of the construction, everyone on the job was outstanding. Ivan created a design that provided everything we requested, and was responsive to us throughout the project, keeping things moving and on track. The workers were extraordinarily skilled -- truly impressive. Even the delivery and debris removal guy was great. Everyone was exceptionally courteous to us and respectful of our home. The quality surpassed our expectations - no detail left undone, everything flawless. This was our best experience with a home improvement project, and the price was so reasonable. I will use DMV Kitchen and Bath again and I recommend them to anyone looking for beautiful craftsmanship at a very fair price.

Ivan’s skills are the best I have seen in remodeling work. The new bathroom is luxurious and feels like an exclusive expensive hotel bathroom. I would recommend DMV and Ivan to do your next project. We also had DMV remodel our kitchen and it also is spectacular.

There are not enough STARS to give DMV Kitchen and Bath! This was our first renovation project in an 80 year old house; we had a primary bathroom completely gutted and renovated into one that supported aging in place. Lucas was our project manager and did an incredible job. His communication was SUPERB and their bid was one of the best of 6 companies we compared. Lucas answered every single question we had and made sure we felt confident. The team working in our house, Jacinto and Jefferson, were so talented, kind and meticulous. Our house was always left incredibly clean and we were given the opportunity to ask questions every single day. This company is second to none. We cant wait to plan our next project.

Best remodeling experience weve had in years. They went above and beyond - even taking care of some issues not directly related to the shower remodel we hired them for, at no extra charge. In late 2022, we used DMV Kitchen and Bath to fully gut and renovate a full bathroom in an old DC rowhouse. We highly recommend them. We worked primarily with Frank on the project. Frank was great through every step of the process. He helped us clarify and finalize our design, dealt with DC permits, and worked with us throughout the project, and he was very responsive to our questions and request for a touch up after the project was complete. When unexpected issues arose, Frank would give us options and help us decide what would best meet our needs. For example, when it became clear the very old water pipes feeding the bathroom needed to be replaced, Frank provided a list of options at various price points and walked us through the implications of each option. Even with a hiccup like that -- happening the day before Thanksgiving -- the project was only briefly delayed. The project was completed within days of the target finish date, even with those unexpected issues arising. We very much enjoyed working with DMV Kitchen and Bath and the team.

My wife and I couldnt be happier with the service that we got from DMV on a full master bathroom remodel. Javier, our project manager, was our contact from day 1, leading us through the original design and material selection through a final walk through of the bathroom.We needed to relocate a toilet in order to expand the size of our shower, and Javier (with his construction background) said it would not be an issue. This surprised us because other highly rated companies in the area had balked at doing so. I would highly recommend finding someone like Javier who has a construction background rather than someone with a pure design background.In any event, the project went off without a hitch. Javier is extremely responsive. I dont think he ever took more than 30 minutes to respond to a text or phone call, even on weekends. Minor mistakes (which there were few) were quickly corrected, and the project was completed in ~2.5 weeks, well ahead of the estimated time. The crew doing the work were extremely skilled , worked hard, and were extremely careful, making sure to keep the work area as clean as possible. In the end, we got the exact bathroom we were looking for and couldnt be happier. In terms of price, DMV came under other quotes wed received.

DMV did a great job on our master and hallway bathroom remodel project. Javier and his crews couldnt have been more professional and courteous. The design Javier developed was exactly what we wanted. The crews did an excellent job with all aspects of our project. They made sure all floors leading to both bathrooms stayed covered , sealed off the mbr during demo with floor to ceiling plastic, and cleaned up at the end of each day. Javier visited numerous times throughout the project and was extremely quick to answer any questions. The pricing was reasonable and we were provided many material options to choose from. We would have no problems whatsoever in recommending DMV to anyone doing a bathroom remodel project.

As someone who is always nervous to recommend services to others, I would recommend Javier and his team at DMV Kitchen & Bath without pause. They are top notch.We chose DMV Kitchen & Bath after being referred by a friend and meeting with Javier. We wanted to do a kitchen remodel as well as replace the flooring on our entire 1st floor and staircase. We were looking for a company that could meet our budget but more importantly, we were looking for a company that was honest and trustworthy. The team at DMV Kitchen & Bath is just that.Javier was respectful of our budget at all times while still getting us the high-end look we were hoping to achieve. I am infamously indecisive and Javier always had options for me and would make last minute adjustments with a smile of his face. I never felt pressured with any choices which was very important to me. Javier took and very consultative approach and guided us in the right direction while still giving us free reign to make decisions.We had never planned to do a home renovation during a pandemic, working from home with two small children, but the process was so smooth and painless thanks to the amazing hard work of their team. Alvaro, Caesar and Martin are just wonderful. We couldn’t have imagined a better experience! Our kitchen is gorgeous, better than I could have ever hoped for thanks to Javier and DMV. Now we are already looking for our next project so we can have them back.

We highly recommend DMV Kitchen and Bath. They remodeled our 3 full bathrooms, and updated our kitchen counters and back splash. We started by choosing 3 highly rated companies from Angi, and requested quotes from each. One of the 3 would have had us acting as our own buyers, and we wanted the contractor to take care of that. Of the remaining two, DMVs quote was significantly lower than the other.Our designer Javier was very attentive to our wishes and took the time to make sure that we understood what was to be done and were happy with the materials that we had chosen. The two-man team who did the work were very competent, energetic and efficient. There were a few problems along the way, but Javier and his team did what was necessary to correct any problems to our satisfaction.We are very happy with the results, and would definitely use them again. Highly recommended!

We couldn’t be any happier with DMV Kitchen and Bath and can’t wait until we decide to redo our 2nd bathroom! The experience from start to finish was everything we could’ve ever expected and more. It started with the free in home quote for the removal of our tub/shower combo to walk in shower and the easy and seamless communication from the beginning was smooth and clear. Our PM Lucas answered every question my husband and I had which gave us peace of mind and we had a lot . We had several other contractors provide quotes and some didn’t even provide a quote or even show up for an estimate. We felt the pricing for the scope of work was well in line and fair for the area , experience and amount of work to accomplish. Once we signed with DMV Kitchen and Bath we picked all our materials with the help from Lucas and even got ahead of schedule to start the demo and reno. On the day of , we met with Lucas , Jefferson and Maynor to do a walkthrough. The next few days flew by with no interruptions to our workday since we WFH as both Maynor and Jefferson were very accommodating to our environment. They were organized , easy to talk too and most importantly got the job done right and exactly how we wanted. Maynor even worked all day on a saturday which was much appreciated. What made the experience even more pleasurable was we have a young puppy that Maynor and Jefferson were so friendly and interactive with. The gentlemen who came to install the sliding glass door and do all the finishings were also great to work with. We are ecstatic with the outcome and couldn’t have been happier with the quality of work provided . We will recommend them to family , friends and neighbors.

Delicious food, nice atmosphere. Seasonal salad was great, but why fry feta cheese? Fresh feta would be better. Be prepared, as you may need to descend and climb stairs if you dine upstairs. Baked goods for dessert are outstanding! Goodness Gracious!

A GREAT REMODELING EXPERIENCE!!! – The DMV Kitchen and Bath staff made our remodel project such a pleasant experience. Our extensive project included the remodel our old office to a waiting room and build new office at our business. We appreciated the fact that the dust and debris were kept to a minimum during demolition and there were never construction items left inside our office. Because all construction was done on evenings and weekends, and we were open thru all construction. Our project manager was always available to respond to any questions or issues that arose. The workers were courteous and did great work. As with any remodel, there were a few challenges, but DMV Kitchen and Bath met those challenges with a positive attitude and always found a solution. There were many times that they went far beyond the call of duty to make sure our vision became a reality and always did their best to stay within our budget.Our office and waiting room is now very beautiful and functional than we could ever have imagined. All our customers love it the new waiting room. And we love our new beautiful office.We highly recommend DMV Kitchen and Bath to anyone considering a remodel project, and we will certainly call them when we decide to do any remodeling at our own homes.

Hired DMV Kitchen & Bath to remodel my condo bathroom, leaving the bathtub in place.I dont fault the workmanship quality. In fact, Ive received many compliments on the tiles done and the design selection. All the fixtures were ordered elsewhere and brought onto the job site. I however do find the questions asked ahead of time regarding minor details could be improved.Minor details like the water pressure of the shower head, the water temperature settings, the order of which some owner work vs. contracted work would be best. Those are questions that I bet the DMV technical staff installing them would rather not make a second run to fix if they had asked during installation. Additionally, owners would be less likely to feel there is less of a break-in period to find minor annoyances.Overall, I am satisfied and would recommend. However, owners do some of your own homework on the details to ensure a smooth work completion.

We hired DMV Kitchen and Bath to remodel a master and hallway bathrooms. These were full gut and replace jobs which included removal of walls and adding framing, relocating and adding new plumbing and electrical, new vanities and counter-tops, frameless shower glass doors, tiling, LED lighting, etc. The remodeling work required plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and building permits, all of which passed inspection with ease. Complicated plumbing changes like swapping the shower drain with toilet drain to move the shower went smoothly. Other contractors who bid for the job were very concerned with this change and some suggested it couldnt be done without major construction changes. But DMV didnt blink an eye and completed it without any issues. This is a sign of expertise and experience because when contractors are very concerned and apprehensive about changes, it is typically due to their lacking expertise.We couldnt have asked for a better contractor. DMV Kitchen and Bath was always professional and polite. Their work crew were awesome. They put in long days and were always willing to go the extra mile without complaint. No contract job is ever perfect and there were issues and changes that came up but what set DMV apart from other contractors is that they wanted to make the customer happy even if it meant they had to work a bit longer and absorb extra costs. They never complained about anything! We highly recommend them, in fact we are hiring them for other jobs.

When I was ready to have my kitchen countertops replaced with quartz, I did my due diligence and then visited 4 different companies to get prices. DMV was the last on my list to visit and when I came out I knew they were the ones I wanted to do the job! First, there was someone who immediately came to answer questions and show me where to find the samples. Javier was pleasant, informative and helpful. His price was on point. Even when I decided to change a couple of items, he said he could get them at his builders discount. He sent his estimate in just a couple of hours and then came to my home for measurements the very first day there was an opportunity to do so. When the work was done, it was done on time, with Javier there to oversee the beginning and finishing of the job. I definitely would recommend this company. Their friendliness, courtesy, workmanship, and followup are great. I am now thinking of having a bathroom remodeled by them as well. Thank you, Javier and your team!!

After searching for a bathroom remodeling company, DMV Kitchen & Bath was referred by a friend and after doing our own research and speaking with them, it was an easy choice. Right the beginning we felt comfortable. They did a free in-home estimate and helped us with the design using pretty cool technology which allowed us to see the design and make quick changes. This allowed us to see things we thought we wanted and now no longer liked haha. They were very patience and were very communicative throughout the entire process. Stop looking and go with DMV. You will NOT be disappointed.

We strongly recommend DMV Kitchen and Bath for their excellence in work, cost, and great customer care.

We hired DMV Kitchen & Bath (Chantilly showroom) to remodel our small galley kitchen, eat-in area and powder room, as well as install hardwood flooring in all of those areas plus our foyer. We couldnt be happier with the results! The quality of the materials and the workmanship were wonderful and were off tremendous value. Cemmy Kurt was our designer, working closely with Allan. They were both very easy to work with - no hard sell, understood our vision for the kitchen, communicated well throughout the project, and ensured we were satisfied with all aspects. Cemmy even found a better quality cabinet for us at a lower price prior to the start of the project, giving us exactly the look and features we wanted.Orlando (on-site project manager) and his team were excellent in installation and modifications (we completed the demolition ourselves prior to the start of the remodel).We are very satisfied with the results, would definitely recommend DMV Kitchen & Bath, and will use them again in the future.

My wife and I hired DMV to completely remodel two bathrooms and partially remodel another bathroom and kitchen. The folks from DMV, from the initial consultation with Oscar and Javier, to the final day of remodeling, were awesome. Their men were professional, efficient, responsive, and above all, eager and willing to work with us to fix any issues that arose. They stuck to the initial estimate regardless of some issues along the way that required extra labor and materials on their part. For example, when they went to turn off the water in the basement, they found a minor leak in the master faucet, which they fixed for us. They replaced that faucet with a more efficient one. They also replaced an outside faucet and the other master faucet on the inside ceiling which feeds it. This took an extra 4-5 hours and they still didnt add additional charges. The company that provided the tile for the kitchen backsplash sent an olive green color rather than the caramel color that we ordered. Since the boxes indeed read caramel, we all assumed it was the correct tile and they went ahead and installed it. After installation, we realized it was a different color. DMV tried to get the tile company to replace it, but they wouldnt. The company said they warn folks that the tiles may be a slightly different shade and that it should be inspected before its installed. Javier realized we were unhappy with this and said that his men would replace the tile with whatever tile we chose at no additional cost. You dont get this kind of service very often. All of the men at DMV were wonderful to work with; however, Rolando stood out in our eyes. He was such a pleasure to work with! In addition, Javier and Oscar were always very responsive, answering our calls and emails promptly and working with us to resolve minor issues that naturally arise during such projects. My wife and I are extremely pleased with the job that DMV did and would hire them back in a heartbeat. We also give them our highest recommendation. If you are looking for fair prices, good workmanship, and great communication during your remodeling project, look no further than DMV.

Javier Nogales was top notch to deal with, as were his crew. Javier was very patient and helpful in the early part of the process, where we were picking fixtures and tile - all the way to completion - and beyond.Several months after the master bath job was completed, some dark spots started to show through where they had applied glue to the back of the mirror.I told Javier about it and, without hesitation, he said theyd take care of it.Javier sent out a crew that weekend and they replaced the mirror in short order. No fuss, no muss.We were so pleased with the bathroom job, that we had them replace a door to an outside shed, a handrail to the basement, as well as a wooden railing (with iron spindles) to the upstairs.All work was done in a timely and very professional manner.Price-wise, for the master bath reno, we got bids from two other contractors. One bid was way higher than the other two, so we eliminated that one.After talking with Javier and the other contractor, we were very comfortable choosing DMV and are extremely happy we did.

Ivan Nogales, the designer, has been very helpful in assisting us to sketch out an estimated cost and general design of the bathroom as we plan to redo it entirely. Although we didn‘t pick this contractor as price is above our budget, I like to thank Ivan for all his deal deligent in accommodating our needs in planning for the cost estimate and his good work.

This our 3rd remodeling. DMV was a great alternative to the previous 2 contractors. A gut remodel of a bathroom in a 1935 north Arlington house. Oscar and his folks did a great job and they did it quickly. They protected adjacent spaces, kept thing clean and did a precise job. They removed fixtures, plaster and 2 thick concrete subfloor and refinished the bath with high end tile, polished stainless steel accessories and a bi-sliding shower door. They also added a whisper quiet exhaust fan that effectively removes the steam and will reduce the opportunity for mold development. And, they did it all within budget!

We just had our master bath done by DMV (full gut and upgrade, down to the studs). This was our first experience working with a contractor, and I had heard all the horror stories, but this was an amazing experience. They were, first of all, on budget. The project ran about a week over, but only because of a back ordered part. The team accommodated a number of last minute minor changes, and were an absolute pleasure to work with. To top it all off, in the final inspection, although I was happy, Oscar was not. He asked if he could bring the guys back the next day to fix some small things that I had not even noticed. Overall an amazing company. We will be keeping them in mind for future renovations!

About 9 months ago DMV renovated our entire kitchen including removing walls and they did an excellent job. We appreciate the work performed, professionalism, and competitive price they offered. Recently, one of the floor tiles started coming loose. We sent an email to DMV and Cemmy immediately responded asking our availability for someone to come out and take a look. Within a week, a small work crew showed up prepared to fix the loose tile. They ended up having to replace a few more tiles to be sure the issue wouldnt reoccur. Within a few days, all of the work of tearing up the old tiles, prepping the subfloor, laying the new tile, and applying grout was completed. The crew did a great job, you would never be able to tell which tiles were replaced. When things dont always go as planned its nice to know a company will stand behind their work and thats exactly what DMV Kitchen and Bath did. Thank you Cemmy and crew for your quick response to handle the issue.

DMV Chantilly just completed a remodel of my kitchen and powder room and I couldnt be more pleased with both rooms and the entire experience. I love the quality of the Medallion cabinetry, the tile floors and backsplashes and the quartz countertops. Working with Cemmy as the project manager was a pleasure. He kept me informed as to what to expect each step of the way. Everything ran smoothly and timed perfectly. He was totally responsive to any question or concern I had and not only returned calls immediately but came to the house frequently as well. I was really happy with DMVs bathroom remodel. We have been planning to renovate our master bath for a while, it was dark and weirdly not functional, with a wall dividing the vanity from the shower area and the only door to the closet inside the bathroom. I we contacted a few other contractors and every proposal was extremely pricey and not good for our space. I contacted DMV and my designer Ivan very quickly came up with a 3D rendering of the project which looked stunning and was within our budget. The process of selecting materials was handled very well, and the store ordered everything for us, which made it a lot more convenient than ordering things on our own to the house (which is what other contractors suggested).Ivan was there on every step, he was very responsive also when things didnt go as planned (the bath arrived broken, the wrong shower-head had to be replaced). And our worker William was incredibly skilled. After all was done, I was really amazed with the quality of work and how beautiful the bathroom turned out. I would highly recommend DMV Kitchen and Bath.

DMV was the first of 6 contractors that I had spoken with to completely remodel my kitchen. They were prompt, to the point, and quick to give a design and a quote. I liked their input and ideas, but surfed around for another month, worked with an architect and several other designers, and evetually came back to what DMV had designed from the beginning. (Wish I had skipped the pricey architect!)They gave good advice on things that seemed so simple (cabinet pulls) but were overwhelming when you looked at all of the possible options. The job only took 18 days (though the space was easy since my basement is unfinished and they had easy access to move pipes, wiring and ducts. My electric panel also had a lot of space in it and did not require any crazy upgrade.) The only minor delays were my fault as I took some time mulling over a few things.My neighbors commented that the workers were extremely courteous, clean, and quiet and did not disturb them throughout the project.My kitchen renovation did not change the footprint, however, I did move an extrerior door and changed the size and placement of a new window. The project was completed a month ahead of schedule and on budget. Everything was kept clean while in process and I was really not inconvenienced by not haing a workable kitchen very much at all.Javier, Lucas, Alex and John were great at communicating and they were on time or early every day.I highly recommend them.

This was the second time Ive used DMV for renovation work. The first time was to renovate our kitchen/dining space at our work site. The guys came out, took measurements, made recommendations, and I went to there store to pic out the counter top color and material. Parking is a bit tricky at the place, so bring the car, not the SUV. After picking out materials, it was just a few weeks and we had our entire kitchen renovated with new cabinets, counter tops, sink, and lighting. They even added some nice under-cabinet lighting to replace the outdated fluorescent fixtures, which gave it a nice glow. Later, I used them to finish up a project at my personal home, where the contractor had walked. They came in and completed everything, within price, and the timeline was perfect. They even fixed a cabinet I had ordered, that was damaged, unknown to untrained eye, and I couldnt even tell where the damage was after they were done. Id highly recommend DMV for any kitchen/bath/basement project and will use them again on my new home down the road!
