Seamless experience from start to finish!Marcus, technician, came to do a roof tune up was very thorough and found we needed to replace our roof and windows because they were leaking.Steve, project coordinator, was very thorough in his explanation about materials and the work that was going to be done. American Home Contractors - AMAZING - PROFESSIONAL & they Listen (a major importance to my husband and I). We are first time home owners and we discovered we had gutter issues the hard way. Chuck came out and clean our gutters as best as he could, with our very old gutter system. He provided my husband and I with detailed before and after pictures. I was very impressed with his work and his concern about my house in general from the roof to the gutters.Overall, we have the company coming back out to install new gutter system for my home. Ive been dealing with the master bathroom leaking during random rainstorms for 2-3 years now, but was always worried about the solar panel placement potentially interfering with roofing repairs. However, American Home Contractors was wonderful and offered to at least see if there were any repairs they could make within their roof tuneup. They first sent Marcus, who did arrive on my doorstep but unfortunately could do nothing because of the rain being a hazard. Marcus was kind, explained what fell under roof tune up, even scouted out the roof from my yard, and then personally called to reschedule my appointment. So during my rescheduled appointment, Angel came. He too, explained what fell under a roof tune-up, and I pointed out the location of the leak from the yard once again. He quickly looked at my bathroom to see the leakage damage, then went into my attic to take pictures. It was there he found some rotted wood near rooftop, most likely exactly where the leak had been coming through. He then went on the rooftop and added sealant around the vent (because apparently, there was minimal to none), replaced loose/rusted nails, and hammered down any location where the shingles were not laying flat (I was very fortunate in that the solar panels were not located in the repair area, although I believe the company does have experience with their own solar panels). After all those repairs, he showed me before and after photos, clearly explained potential repairs for the rotting wood, which did not fall in the scope of a tune-up, and gave me an estimate of my roof and when I should consider roof replacement. He also promised that he could provide a more solid quote in a few days for the wood repair, and send a different representative to quote the roof replacement (with the idea that I didnt have to commit yet, but could keep that number in my head for budgeting over the years). Angel was wonderful, was very clear in his explanations and estimate, and was very prompt - he came within the estimated timeframe, called me to let me know of his arrival time, and provided me a complete receipt with photos via email just minutes after we said goodbye. I would highly recommend American Home Contractors, especially Angel (and Marcus, although Im sorry it rained when you arrived!)

AHCs handling of our house-wide window replacement was easy, competitively priced, and so professional that we wish we had started the project ages ago. Steve was the standout sales and service representative who provided a free consultation, detailed our options with the design of the windows themselves, and helped close out the contract so that production could begin.On the day of installation, the crew was efficient and knowledgeable, respecting the house while moving around to minimize disruption. The difference in temperature, light quality, and general usage was immediately apparent.After installation, Isiah came out to the house to trim back extra insulation that was bulging in the corner of a few windows. He was professional, courteous, and explained to me what was happening at every step of the process. All in all, our experience was fantastic with AHC, and we would not hesitate to use them again on another property.

We recently purchased a Groupon for a gutter cleaning by American Home Contractors. This was our first gutter service on our home so I had no idea that a report with photos from our roof and gutters was part of the deliverable. Due to the report we were able to see that the roof above our front porch was deteriorating and is in need of repair. Chuck was very professional and thorough and walked me through the report and photos at the end to explain what the conditions were like and what we needed to keep an eye on. I would definitely hire him again.

Excellent company you can trust. Mike came out to help tuneup the roof at my Laurel TH. He was punctual in keeping his schedule, he called ahead to let me know he is on his way. Assessing the weather he took all the precautions to call for help due to the wind ( not severe gust but he wanted to be on the side of caution) cleaned the gutter at the back, obsessed missing shingles and recommended to reach out to the insurance company if they cover replace the missing shingles. We got a new roof from American Home Contractors in September 2024. My initial discussion with their representative, James I., went very well. He was easy going, straightforward, and honest, in contrast to some of the other roofers I talked to. He explained the roofing process carefully and gave us a good price, a bit below what I expected from internet browsing. Once I signed the contract, the new roof was on our house as scheduled eight days later, installed in one day by a very efficient team. They did a good job cleaning up scraps when they were done. Im not an expert, but the roof looks like they did a good job. I thought this was going to be a stressful event, but once we settled on AHC everything went very smoothly.

We recently concluded a contract with American Home Contractors that included much of their areas of expertise. AHC replaced our windows and doors with the lastest maintenance free products, our siding with beautiful Hardie Board siding, all trim with Hardie Board trim, and our roof with Tesla Solar Roof. Also installed several Powerwall batteries.All work, materials, and final product met or exceeded our expectations. We now have a storm proof and maintenance free exterior house, that has been self powered since the commissioning and operation of the solar system.This company does it all, and does it well. If you are looking for this kind of contractor, you cant do better than AHC in my opinion.

Having been through the project now, we completely agree that they are the best. September 2023, my husband and I met with representatives from six different window contractors to have our 1) windows and 2) wood trim on a bay window replaced. One of the contractors Josh Dunevant, Sales Manager with American Home Contractors, clearly presented the Sunrise vinyl windows, how his team would replace the wood trim on our bay window with PVC trim boards and gained our trust for us to sign a contract with American Home Contractors.Seven weeks after our windows were measured, our windows were ready to be installed. Roger, the Foreman assigned to our window replacement job, and his teams performance far exceeded our expectations.In June 2024, we again contacted Josh Dunevant with American Home Contractors, to have 1) the wood trim on our house replaced with PVC boards, and 2) the gutters replaced with larger gutters and covered with gutter guards. The team that was assigned to replace our wood trim were skilled workers and persevered to complete the job to their utmost, even during the brutal one-hundred degree temperature. The team that replaced our gutters were experienced and completed the job in less than three hours.Once again, American Home Contractors definitely exceeded our expectations. We will continue to recommend American Home Contractors and contact them for future home projects.

Ive had delightful experience with American Home Contractors, who replaced my 5 gutter with 6 ones, from the beginning to the end. The company representative, Zack Stark, came to my house at the time convenient to me. He determined the scope of work and then explained my options regarding the gutters and the gutter covers. Zack offered a very competitive price for 6 gutters with mesh gutter guards. I received 4 quotes for this project and AHC proposal was the best. The installation took place the following week. Another AHC employee, Ian Dunevant, coordinated all the subsequent steps of the project. He was easy to get hold of by phone and responded quickly to my emails. I was not home when the installers can to replace the gutters. The whole job took just a few hours and the result exceeded my expectations. The new gutters and downspouts looks beautiful, they matched the siding color, with the mesh guard expertly installed. I would highly recommend AHC for gutter replacement.

I chose American Home Contractors for their preparedness for the first visit, rigorous inspection, thorough inspection feedback, and honest responses to my inquiries. I liked their service in terms of their punctuality, timeliness, cleanliness, and the final look of my new roof.We moved to this current house in Summer last year and found that the skylights started leaking and squirrels lived in the attic in Winter. We spent over $5,000 on a good-hearted but does-not-know-what-Im-doing handyman only to see worse outcomes. Every time it rained, I got paranoid thinking where else will leak this time? Why is it raining so hard? Why does it rain so often?After realizing the hard way that the handyman route for such an important part of home maintenance would simply not work we decided to take a professsional contractor route and were either given a great presentation but an exhuberant cost or a low cost but corners being cut until we ran into American home contractors. After our first professional contractor encounter we found that going through a GAF elite certified contractor would be wise due to the good warranty and of the several that we contacted American home contractors gave us the perfect middle ground between quality and cost.Josh, the project coordinator from American Home Contractor, came in with a precise measurement of our roof which ensures the right amount of materials to be utilized (i.e., no more, no less). He also took a look at the attic thoroughly and accurately diagnosed the problem we had. He responded in a honest and modest manner to all of my inquiries which could have been rude sometimes. We liked him, especially because of the way he itemized the work that entailed for its transparency and the way he reassured the quality of the work (e.g., warranty).So I chose American Home Contractors. Cost was definitely part of the function but the quality was more valued in the decision making. Josh was very helpful and cooperative in determining the color of the roof. He provided us photos of simulated roof with various colors and a list of roof recently done with the representative colors. The color was definitely different when simulated/seen at sight from whats presented on the brochure. I am very content with our color choice (Hickory) as it is well coordinated with the rest of the house.On the day of roof installation, the installers started from 7 am sharp (it woke me up as they started without notice) and ended at 6 pm. 2,900 ft roof replacement including 5 skylight replacement was done within a day. The installers covered the front of the house with a blue turf (only in the beginning) and diligently cleaned throughout the time. Their punctuality, timeliness and cleanliness were appreciation. Minor drawbacks included some squashed flowers and not all the installers being able to speak English.

He made the appropriate repairs and provided a thorough analysis of his work, including detailed photos from the attic and of the exterior roof.He was able to identify and explain errors the original roof company made when installing the roof, what he did to remedy the issues during his visit and shared preventative services I should consider moving forward to extend the life of my current roof.Chuck was extremely knowledgeable regarding his craft, while demonstrating a very pleasant demeanor.If I need a roof repair in the future, I hope I can get Chuck as the representative of American Home Contractors.

Chuck was extremely professional, knowledgeable and overall in my opinion, a true roofing expert. He performed a very thorough inspection of my roof while capturing before and after pics to give me a visual idea of the problems observed and the repairs that were made. BEST BEARD IN THE BUSINESS! Chuck helped fix a small leak in our roof that was causing some water staining on the ceiling of our master bedroom. He shared pictures of the issue, expertly explained the reason for the leak, and repaired it in less than an hour. All for under $200! Had a great experience with Marcus Newby from American Home Contractors. Marcus did a great job at cleaning away on the junk in my gutters. On top of the gutter cleaning, asked Marcus if he could do me favor by reinstall my shutter that blow off during a storm this week.
