After a terrible experience with another company, the professionalism, knowledge and understanding that I experienced with Chesapeake was greatly appreciated. Mike is a great asset to the company as he was wonderful with diagnosing and explaining the problem, especially to me who knows nothing about water heaters. He also left me feeling assured that the unit will finally be repaired.     We got home from vacation and our heat wouldn’t turn on. I called Chesapeake and spoke with Kelly, the dispatcher. She was able to get Matt to our house in less than two hours! He got us going again in record time, and for a reasonable price. I would definitely recommend Chesapeake Home Services for your HVAC and plumbing needs.

    I had an issue over the holiday weekend where my AC was not working properly. It got very hot in the house. Kevin, emergency tech came out next day and assessed. Matt Reid came out following day and quickly ascertained the real issue. He was quick, polite, and found source right away. And it was WAY cheaper than the quote! I signed up for a contract because I was pleased with both men and their professionalism.

    Chesapeake Home Services is such a great company to work with, you wont be disappointed! Chesapeake Home Services takes care of our HVAC systems at our rental houses and the customer service is impeccable. Donna & Kelly are always helpful when I call. Kelly helps with our maintenance schedule and is such a great communicator. Chris & Dave are technicians that come to our houses to inspect. They communicate about arrival, but most importantly I feel safe knowing theyre entering our rental houses. Theyre trustworthy and have excellent knowledge in repairing and maintaining HVAC systems, this includes our geothermal systems. Whenever we have an emergency, Chesapeake is there for us! Highly recommend for all HVAC situations.

    Everyone is very professional and respectful of the clients time. The Tech called to let me know he was on his way. When he got to the house he explained step by step what he was doing and answered all my questions. He provided me with info about service plans and discounts without any pressure.     The service call was for a normal furnace check up. I mentioned to the service technician that my furnace has been making an annoying whistling noise since it was installed last May. He poked around, found the problem and fixed it. I would give the technician six stars if I could!!!!!

    Robert was fantastic! We had a dryer vent that was located below our home. It was taking two cycles to dry our clothes. Robert installed a new vent directly to the outside on the second floor.     My hybrid heat pump was not working and I was not aware it had stopped. I was receiving gas bills close to $300 a month for the past 3 months and I kept calling the gas company to complain that there must be a leak somewhere. They came and checked, and they informed me that my hybrid heat pump was not working. I called Chesapeake and they came first thing the next morning and repaired the unit. I was very pleased with the service and the young man that did the work

    I have gotten 4 estimates. I was not happy with 3 of them. things were lacking. When Chesapeake came I told them exactly what I wanted, andthats what they estimated, the estimate was totally fair, and so I choosethem to do the job, then an added bonus, they did an energy audit to whichI got some valuable insight into how to secure my house from heat and cold, and they gave me LED light bulbs by replacing a whole lot of themin my home, wasnt expecting that... was wonderful.     Great service on my Heaters during a cold snap. Full diagnostic, capacitors replaced, exhaust tubing adjusted and then tested. Indoor and outdoor units fully evaluated and fixed.     Great plumbing service! Got an appt right away to find what’s leaking from my house into septic. Sonny spent an extensive amount of time performing a leak detection. He took it as a personal challenge to solve the mystery. Even crawling under the house and opening pipes to backtrack the problem. He was professional, easy to talk to, and wouldn’t give up. So impressed with his commitment and the lengths he went to find the problem. He knows his stuff! Highly recommended!

    The back story…I was required to have a recall done on my two year old Goodman furnace. Up to this point everything worked perfectly. Goodman sent someone out to complete the recall. Afterwards my blower motor no longer worked on constant or under the cooling mode.I then called H****** out of lower Delaware. They came out and diagnosed it as a faulty circuit board. Two weeks later the same contractor came out to install the circuit board and at this point I was informed that the circuit board cost $1,600 but will only cost me $1,000 including install. I knew at this point they were trying to blatantly gouge me and told them to leave my house and keep their circuit board. I then went on line and bought the exact same circuit board for $200. I then installed the new circuit board and had the exact same issues. Their diagnosis was wrong.Chesapeake and the good news….I called Chesapeake and they sent HVAC tech Chris Stevenson out this morning. Chris took the time to listen to me explain what took place up to this point. We then went down to the furnace where I watched Chris test a few things and took the time to read the schematic. It was apparent he knew what he was doing. Within 20 minutes he realized the wire was connected to the dehumidifier terminal, which I don’t have. He then connected the wire to the correct terminal and everything is back to running correctly. Just wish I would have called Chesapeake first

    OK, these guys were fantastic. Straight forward and transparent, but were very clear when there were complications. We had moisture issues in the crawl space of my house. Spent quite a bit of money to correct that. Called Chesapeake to replace the duct work in the first floor. As we were in the process of getting that squared away......my second floor HVAC unit dies. This was in the spring and it started to get warm outside. They dropped everything to help. From my asking them to help me to when the unit was finished and installed was 2 days. Anyone else we knew (Ive lived in this county for decades and know several HVAC contractors personally) were week/weeks from being able to help. Not complaining.....these contractors were/are legit busy. Back to the duct work. They knew how much of a problem we had with drying out the crawl space. They informed me of a crack in the drain pan and included me in the process of how I wanted it fixed. They brought my attention 3 really good points to consider when deciding. They wanted to make sure 1) that I was aware 2) how I wanted to address the issue 3) wanted to make sure I knew this problem was there and that they were not involved with creating the problem. This cracked pan was one of several problems contributing to the moisture issue in my crawl space. Their prices are competitive and they do not play billing games (one price for one customer and another price for others). They are responsive and will execute in a timely manner.

He diligently worked beyond normal working hours, provided a temporary solution to our problem because parts were needed that he did not have, told us we could contact him personally over the weekend in the event we had any problems, assisted in scheduling a return appointment, and returned the following week after obtaining the needed parts to solve our problem.

    Thomas checked my newly installed tankless water heater for erratic performance. Tests showed all good with the heater; he suggested having my propane provider check the pressure regulator on the tank. He said if thats not the problem, hell come back again.
