    Last Friday Jared, Larry, Flacco, Jack and Wes came and replaced my furnace and water heater. I am completely satisfied with the job that they did. They came on time and were finished earlier than expected. Jared was the one who explained the different options that we had. He explained everything to me (twice) so that we understood what was going on. The crew was great and also kept me filled in during the job. I would totally recommend these guys to my friends and family. I enclosed before and after photos.

    Corinne did an incredible job fixing multiple issues in our home. We’ve had a few handymen attempt to fix these same problems previously, but none of them was able to pinpoint the root causes, let alone to solve them.     I’ve used Flaherty Plumbing for more than 15 years, as a homeowner, a landlord and a contractor. They are good plumbers for baths, kitchens and heating systems. They are reliable. Their dispatchers are good at scheduling, as well as responding to any surprises at a job site because they maintain constant radio contact with their plumbers. Their pricing is very competitive and their staff earns their wages. Remember, you get what you pay for. I always recommend Flaherty when asked where can I find a good plumber.

    Andrew was very professional and worked so hard to complete the plumbing work we needed in one day. He was here all day long and was able to install a new sink, garbage disposal, water line to our new refrigerator and install a new dishwasher for us.     Wanted to share a quick shout out to the team at Flaherty Plumbing&HVAC after fall furnace maintenance. Quick scheduling of the visit(2 days! ) made it so easy.     I have a French drain with 2 sump pumps in our basement. The last rain storm triggered the pumps, and one wasn’t pumping at all, the other had issues.Joanna was fantastic! She got me set up with an account, and scheduled an appointment same day. The technician was beyond awesome. 7 pm on a Thursday night, he went back to the office to get the proper equipment, and made sure things were done well.     Two of our drains, kitchen and bathroom bath both pugged up in the same 24-hour period. We thought there may be a common cause, and in any case, we wanted them unplugged. Paul Flaherty sent a very competent plumber who diagnosed the problems as independent (a surprise to us) and was able to clear each. It took quite a long time. Everything is not fine, and were very happy.

    Fast, efficient & friendly service. Repaired a leaking outside faucet, a loose vanity sink spout, and replaced a very old irrigation system backflow preventer and valves that was whining. Would definitely use them in the future. Plumbing repairs are always expensive but well worth it to have the work done right rather than struggle to do it myself over and over!

    Flaherty Plumbing Co, Inc. Performed plumbing repairs in Oct 2024. The Office was a pleasure to work with. They made the service scheduling easy and timely. Ryan M. performed the work. He is a master plumber! He was outstanding! He quickly repaired a shutoff valve and repaired a kitchen faucet hand spray. The hand spray was not working because the manufacturer sent a compression fitting check valve, that was assembled backwards at the Factory. Ryan took the time to assess the problem. He switched the check valve and the compression fitting and hand spray works as intended. I’m very thankful for Ryan’s determination and work. I highly recommend Ryan M.

    Got up today to find we had no hot water. Went into my basement where I found lots and lots of water under my Rinnai water heater and water still pouring out of filter unit above it. Called Flaherty and they came out very quickly and determined that the filter housing unit had a large crack in it. Our technician, Jake, went to store to get a new filter unit, installed it and re piped everything back the way it should be. He did an excellent job. He was early to arrive, competent, and polite. I would highly recommend Flaherty Plumbing, as well as Jake, in particular.

    My shower valve handle was leaking, so we had to shut off the water to the entire house. This became an emergency. I called Paul Flaherty Plumbing & heating. The owner, Paul, got on the phone.     My in-laws recommended Paul Flaherty to me to take care of a serious gas furnace issue and to replace my hot water heater in the new home I purchased. By new, I mean, the home was built in the late 19th century, and the previous owner had done a lot of work himself and it was not very good. Not to mention, the bulkhead was covered up and we needed to pull apart a deck to make it happen.Paul did an awesome job fixing the furnace just in time for the cold weather and installed the proper water heater into my home. Paul and his team were very professional and did not charge me an arm and a leg, which is fantastic because as we all know, after you buy a home, you basically have no money. We knew the furnace and water heater were going to be a problem when we bought the home and Paul hit exactly what we expected to pay! I highly recommend him and his team.

    I have three experiences with Flaherty plumbing which span from 2014 to now (2017):Upstairs toilet moved and put back to accommodate bathroom tile relglaze (2014). Josh was the plumber’s name and he was excellent. Of particular note, was that when Josh tried to hook the toilet back up, he discovered it had been leaking due to poor work from the previous plumber. Josh then took time to investigate why my toilet was leaking, explained to me why it was leaking (previous plumber from another company’s job) and then proceeded to remedy the problem by using an “old technique” of putting a cast iron piece around the flange area using horse hair and an old fashioned substance still available at the home store. He did all this when he really only would have had to hook the toilet back up. Josh was really professional and very knowledgable (for being so early in his career). And, it was obvious to me that training and competence is a priority at Flaherty; very impressive to me that this young man knew about a technique that was probably used when my home was built in 1904.Water heater replaced Nov 2016 – On Thanksgiving day my water heater began to leak all over the basement floor. I called Flaherty and the person on the phone guided me through how to shut off the water and the fuse box so I could avoid having them come for an emergency call (and price). There was no charge for that advice. Then, an appointment was arranged days later (I didnt want an emergency charge - my choice). Brian arrived on time, was courteous and genuinely interested in researching the problem and replacing the water heater for me. This work was not as complicated as the toilet story above, but I greatly appreciated him arriving on time and being so friendly and explaining everything he found and did. I found him to be efficient too and professional. Also, Brian informed me that Flaherty only installs Ruud/Rheem electric water heaters and that the one the previous plumber installed was of a lower quality (Bradford White).Furnace (current) – I contacted Flaherty plumbing to check out my loud furnace such that I had to turn up the volume on the TV. I admit, I called Flaherty because the warranty service I use and pay a lot of money for (Pivotal Home Solutions) sent a technician from different plumbing company who was not able to diagnose the problem after 30 minutes of investigation. I decided to go with Flaherty even though it would likely not be covered by the warranty, but my experience told me to have Flaherty take care of it. Jodie from Flaherty plumbing was the person who responded to my call. He also arrived on time, greeted me with a smile and has worked to ensure he’s doing his best to solve the problem. When Jodie arrived, he went right to work, and diagnosed that my furnace was running Loud and struggling by my definition because it was getting too much gas (200 psi) and he proceeded to adjust the settings until the gas coming in was less than 0.027 psi. I know this because he went over it with me and explained what he was going to do and what he was doing. When Jodie was finished, the furnace was running quietly and smoothly and I was amazed and impressed. He spent extra time sending the furnace through a bunch of tests to get to know it, as it was installed by another company in 2009. Jodie also took time to explain that I will likely need a new blower at some point and showed me why, and he did not take advantage and tell me Id need a new blower and push that on me as a surprise.Lastly, I want to acknowledge all the people who answer phones at Flaherty. Everytime I call (including Thanksgiving morning when my water heater quit) I have been greeted by a very calm, patient and professional voices. It means a lot when there are nagging problems with these machines which we all must rely on to keep us warm, comfortable and clean.Go to Flaherty to be taken care of by people who value integrity and high quality customer service.

    We asked Flaherty to come out to our new home to follow up on some work they had done for the previous owner, as there appeared to be a slow leak that went undetected before.     Our employees came in one morning and found water in the basement from a leaking faucet. Scrambling to find someone to go fix it, I called Flaherty Plumbing and was told that they could have someone out there within a couple of hours. They showed up, fixed the problem and didnt completely rake us over the coals like others might do when they know that you have no other options. Hopefully we wont have a need for their services again but if we do, we will call them without hesitation.

    Don’t usually do reviews but really wanted to let you know how great Corine was.Corine came and right away she was very polite introducing herself and then very knowledgeable, right away she found an answer to fix the pipe under the sink.She worked continuously and got the job done faster than I expected. Thepipe replacement work she did looks very clean, her work looks fantastic.It was comfortable having Corine in the home, being she was very nice and we actually became friends.
