During a very scary time of a lightening strike and in the middle of the night these folks from the time I spoke to Jen until Brandon came out I felt I was in good hands. Professional and timely and on a weekend after hours call! Everything back on and came back two days later and finished the job as breakers were not readily available that Saturday. I’ve been a Cross Electric customer for years and had a stellar experience with John this morning that is absolutely worth sharing. My AC was out and he came out on a call, for what I had been told by my AC company, was a problem with an electrical component of my Generac system. John thoroughly assessed all of the Generac electrical components and did replace one that was on the bubble of failing, but he actually found that my AC outage was caused by a loose wire on the condenser. He easily got the wire back in place which immediately restored power to my AC which got me a refund for the AC service call as that technician never looked at the condenser or he might have spotted the loose wire. John is professional and went above and beyond the call of duty to thoroughly assess all of the electrical components and ultimately resolve my AC outage. Well done!

Great experience. Not sure how they managed it, but was able to get Brandon (owner) out just a couple of hours after I emailed in for service. Very professional and knowledgeable, he was able to quickly identify the issue, which happened to be with my electric provider, and not with my wiring. He was also able to help me get the ball rolling with my electric provider so they could correct the issue, which happened to be at the transformer. Highly recommended and will definitely use them again!

Brandon captured our vision and Chris & Murphy delivered fantastic results for our outdoor lighting project. We originally wanted the up-lights in the front, replace the carriage lights, and add spotlights in the back yard. Brandon pitched the idea of the Led down-lights in the soffit on the side and the back of the house instead of the spotlights. We are so glad we took Brandon’s recommendation. Chris M. was on time, professional, and very knowledgeable. He was also a very positive individual and a great communicator (a quality you dont encounter all that often these days). He called ahead to let me know he was 15-20 minutes out and on arrival, listened to all of my concerns before proceeding with his assessment. After assessing the situation, he provided me with a quote on the cost and made sure to answer all of my questions. He completed the job in less than an hour (replacing old outdoor floodlight with a new floodlight/camera) and afterwards, provided instruction on programming and operating the camera. Im over 60, and during my lifetime Ive hired my fair share of contractors. So believe me when I tell you that this company is the real deal. Very efficient, first-class company and electricians. I will definitely be using them again. I highly recommend this company.

*** Edit: I realized our dryer was not turning on a few days after Jeremy left! I called the company Monday morning and they were able to send an electrician, David, the next day. It was a quick fix. He said the panel was not pushed in all the way. Thanks David for helping finish fixing the panel. Now I can get back to doing laundry.Our electrician was Jeremy. He was professional and friendly from the start. He explained the job and seemed very knowledgeable. Job was done in a timely manner. He was patient while he waited for our electric company to come out. While we waited, we enjoyed hearing about his near death experiences with dogs and snakes. He is very dedicated to still be in this profession. I did not think this job came with that many risks (besides being electrocuted). Give this man a raise.

They installed can lights in a difficult room with high ceiling and new task lighting in the main bathroom. They added whole house surge protection to both panels. Kerrie and David came out and were very professional, completed a tough job, keeping it very neat. Very impressed with their hard work, knowledge and abilities. We discussed what needed to be done and how it would be installed. As an engineer I can be rather picky about how things are done but I have no complaints about their work. I would use them again and would recommend them without reservation. My wifes only comment, to me, was that they left a little mess in the electrical cabinet and on top of the shelf, where they worked (she wanted me to include that). Two minutes of vacuuming and I had it cleaned up in no time - no big deal. I dont hold that against them at all; it was a minor oversight.

Our most recent project was rewiring a hallway light involving the intersection of wiring in the attic from 3 different directions and almost 100 year old wiring. Keri showed up with a big smile, and I had correctly diagnosed the pro kem, a blown out ballast in a 4 tube fluorescent fixture in a 10 foot ceiling kitchen. He said affirmative, but added there is a better way to fix this, direct wire. No ballast required with a new light tube that doesnt require a ballast. The tube is more expensive, but far less than a ballast replacement, and removing a component decreases complexity, and increase reliability. Thank you Keri.

Great team of professionals, from the receptionist, the appraiser (Brandon) to the installer (Chris). On December 22, Brandon arrived at my house to provide me with an estimate, for the installation of 2 outdoor outlet, for portable generators hook up. Plus gave me good sound advice on generators and cable and provided me with an estimate. He ordered all items needed for the task and mentioned that it could receive the items order by early next year, due to possible back log. Received a call yesterday (Dec 29, 2021) at 9:00 am, all parts received and ready to install. Chris arrived at my house shortly afterward, ready. It took him about less than 5 hours, and all done. He installed both outlets, assembled both generators and serviced them. Then took the time to give me a detailed run down on how to operate, of which he did a complete functional check. By shutting down power to my house and operating on full generator power. Everything worked as advertise. Plus answered every question in detailed, every professional. This is by far the best customer service I have received in a while. Without any reservation, HIGLY RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY TO ALL.

They came out to out a 20ft light pole and meter base , They go obove and beyond, And not the cheapest company but the all around get your moneys worth. I had a company that came out and put a temporary pole in and charged me the same thing cross electric did but didnt do any of the stuff they told us they would. Not only was cross electric updating us the whole way but didnt slack on any of the work or oversight and of the coads that is required by the state regulations.
