Plumbing and Moore essentially saved my life today. I messed up my kitchen sink pipe by throwing food down it (exposing myself) and was having a hard time finding anybody to come last minute since I’d be leaving town the next morning. Josh answered the phone, kept me updated on his ETA, was upfront about his costs, extremely personable and kind person, and most importantly fixed my issue quickly and at a great price. He gave me tons of info on prevention and maintenance to make sure I can spare myself the trouble in the future.Seriously, skip the big plumbing companies. They take too long to come and charge nearly offensive prices. Plumbing and Moore deserves you call!

I hired Josh and his crew to change out multiple faucets in my home and they did a fantastic job. Josh was extremely quick to respond, offered an appointment the very next morning, and charged a fair rate. They did the job in a timely manner, were beyond courteous (even removing their shoes), and were here right when they promised. And unlike other service providers I’ve hired, they left my home clean! I cannot express enough how satisfied I am with Plumbing and Moores service. They went above and beyond by coming after hours to address a leak in my shower manifold. Josh was extremely communicative regarding his arrival at my home when he was running a little late, he also took his time to explain to me what was happening with my plumbing situation. It seems my issue is mostly septic and instead of doing extra work that wouldnt really solve my problem he gave me recommendations on the steps I need to take to get it done right the first time.Ill be calling him for any future plumbing issues I have, and I will definitely recommend him to anyone who might need a plumber.

John is a benevolent and professional person to work with.We are in the process of selling our home and are having to work through our realtor to have any necessary updates accomplished.After having the gas company come out to the home to inspect a potential gas leak, it was concluded that our water heater needed to be moved/looked at.Thankfully our realtor called Pluming & Moore.Not only was John willing to communicate with myself, and my realtor, he also took on the responsibility of communicating with Tim from Okaloosa Gas.Unfortunately for us a simple $500-$600 job of just emptying and the water tank turned into a $2600 job, however this was not the fault of John.John was very upfront throughout the entire day with updates of what was happening and why a new water heater was needed.He did what he could to try and save us money, including working with our realtor to try and find the warranty information for our current water heater so that the cost could potentially be reduced.The most notable quality of John was his calm demeanor. Even though this was not how we wanted this day to go, it was a lot less stressful because of Johns calm confident demeanor.We appreciate all of Johns hard work and definitely recommend Plumbing & Moore.

Ive had a couple experiences now with Josh and his crew, and they are absolutely second to none!The strongest attribute you get is their professionalism and customer service. Always doing what needs to be done, always making things rights, and always trying to make sure the customer is happy. No clowning around!The first time I had these guys out, I needed a toilet replaced, and reinforced underneath, in my shop. They went above and beyond to make everything perfect, and Ive had no problems since.A few other projects since then have been no less than stellar service as well.Cannot recommend them moore 😆

I called Josh at 4PM on a Tuesday afternoon when I noticed my water heater drain line had a pretty steady flow of water coming out of it. By 4:45 Josh and his team were at my house taking a look at the issue. After walking me through what he saw and talking about options for repair we elected to replace the heater entirely given it was nearly 30 years old and the repairs were going to be almost 1/2 the cost of a new system. Even though it was after 5PM by that time, Josh offered to take care of the install the same night. He was professional, upfront, and knowledgeable through the whole process. As a budding small business, he and his team have a life-long customer for any future plumbing needs we may have.

Im not one to leave Google reviews, but I just have to give a HUGE shout out to Josh at Plumbing & Moore! Calling for help is never fun, most jobs my husband can do, but this one he just couldnt. Josh (the owner) added us to his schedule as soon as we called. He was honest and upfront about his pricing. His ETA changed and he called to update us and came when he said! This man is a stand up guy! If you need any work done, dont hesitate, call him!

After calling multiple companies advertising 24 hr/emergency repairs with no luck, Josh answered my call. Not only was he very professional, but up front about the charge for a weekend visit. After talking for a few moments he said he could be here within 15 minutes, and he was. He found the blockage in my line and got my drains flowing again. Unfortunately, he had to break the news after using his camera (and showing me) that there are roots invading the line. He discussed multiple options that could be used to repair this, and I am awaiting his plan and quote. I am very pleased with Joshs professionalism and availability on a weekend night. I highly recommend him for your plumbing needs.

Josh was an Emergency call out on 22 Feb 2024 to fix a backup of main line with grey water. He responded and came out immediately at 9pm in Destin. He was very considerate, professional and honest. I am a former Deputy Sheriff and Infantry Marine and I can tell you that Josh is a stand up man that knows what he is doing and was able to communicate with two home owners (One HO being difficult to work with) and a tenant, professionally, respectfully, consistently, and without a hiccup. Josh was one of MANY called that evening and was the ONLY one in the area WILLING to come out and help! Awesome Job Josh and Team! You are appreciated!

Literally the 5th plumber I had to call for the same job. Toilet was pulled and snakes run, I don’t know how many times- each time I was charged a ton but the actual problem never solved. The 4th plumber had a camera (I realized was essential in discovering the problem) and he didn’t even finish the inspection and I still haven’t heard back from him about when he was going to come back. I found Josh at Plumbing and Moore in the meantime and not only did he do a THOROUGH inspection he kept coming back until we devised a game plan about how to move forward. It was very helpful with his camera to see before and after the work on the inside and he was extremely kind and cleaned! He promised he would actually help RESOLVE my problem and he did! It’s hard to find honest and respectable plumbers out there. Call them!

So O was a dingdong and while cleaning the toilet I accidentally flushed my wash rag down the toilet. ugh. And of course it was the last day of vacation. And Good Friday. I called am15+ plumbing companies and finally Jodh was able to get me in ASAP( he handled his workers even while he was on vacation) The staff was amazing. They cleaned up after themselves and they took care of the job immediately. I appreciate everything they have done for me.

I have been trying to get a plumber to address a terrible attic ventilation problem that should have never passed inspection for over 6 months. It was very challenging to find a plumber in the Defuniak Springs area as appointments would be made and then no call, no shows, and to never be heard from again. Thankfully we found Josh. He arrived when scheduled and finally gave us a permanent fix that would actually pass an inspection and probably saving us from inhaling toxic gases! Thanks again Plumbing and Moore!

My mother’s washing machine kept backing up into the garage. This house is over 50 yrs old and the galvanized pipes under the house have now collapsed. Josh came in and made an opening in the brick so the pipes can go into the yard into the sewer line so she can do laundry again. Can never thank him enough for being fair and not taking advantage of an elderly lady as many have tried in the past. He is very fair, very professional, and very well mannered. The work is done right, he will not cut corners and will patiently explain options. So much better than the big corporate companies, you are talking to the guy who will do the work, and make any issues right in the unlikely event something goes wrong or breaks. Plumbing and Moore is the ONLY plumber I trust with my home.
