Maurice and his staff had answers to our electric questions, knew how to negotiate the permitting process with the city successfully, did the work on time with better clean up than other contractors, and led us through the whole project until they got the final permit approval. As with any other great business you become loyal to, many usually come from a referral, OR the reviews you read on line. Which is the reason I want to give this company the highest rating I possibly can. In my case, Maurice was referred to me by a good friend and colleague of mine, and when he was raving about how professional and knowledgeable Maurice was, and how different he was from other Electricians/Contractors I may have dealt with in the past (like most that just getting them to show up is a mission), he told me that Maurice would be different then most. And I have to say that with every other great things he said about Maurice, I thought he was slightly exaggeration. However, in actuality, my friend/colleague under promised and overdelivered.Besides being licensed and insured, and besides punctuality and his master electrical skills, I find one of MG Electric Inc. best practice is the laminated book he carries in his work van. The book has just about every single electrical job you might ever need to do in your home, with prices right beside each job, prices that include everything, such as labor AND parts. To me it was such a relief to know that I was being charged an honest price and that price was the same for everyone. They are like the Car/Max of Electrical Contractors :-) No haggling, and no wondering ever, if you are overpaying. AND what they charge is also very reasonable IMO. Especially when you consider how everything was done to perfection the first time, and how clean and neat it all looked after the was done.NOT to mention that Maurice came to our house to do work recently, and as soon as he exited the van, I could tell that he was very conscious of the current situation with the Corona Pandemic, and that he was following every precaution necessary to make us feel completely safe with him working in and around our home. I can not more strongly recommend Maurice and their family own business, MG Electric, Inc..

I highly recommend MG Electric, especially Maurice. We had to replace our inside and outside electrical boxes. It was a really big job ... and I knew with Maurice every detail would be done according to code and done properly. He was upfront with the cost and the time frame it took. He showed up on time and left his work area cleaner than when he found it. He was patient when I asked a million questions. When it comes to electric, theres no cutting corners and no room for errors. Thats why I trust Maurice to do the job right. Were very satisfied customers.

If you want perfection, MG Electric is the right choice for all your electrical needs. Maurice recently mounted four TV’s and installed track lighting in the den of my home and it was all expertly done. He and his assistants are respectful of the home in that they wear boot covers, place tarp around the work area to avoid any damage and do a thorough clean up when the work is done. This is the second time Maurice has done work for me so I highly recommend MG Electric, you won’t be disappointed.

I called and Maurice was able to come same day. The pricing is reasonable and he is very knowledgeable. He removed my old light fixture, installed the new one and repaired my dimmer. We didnt have the correct bulbs for our new light fixture and he even waited for us to run to the store to get it so he could completely set up the fixture so we would not have to do anything with it but turn it on. I would certainly use him again and recommend his services to anyone.

We call MG Electrical for a problem with electrical outlet and a ceiling fan, but for my surprise it was a major problem: a burnt cable on the electrical panel. Maurice gave me the options I have (pros & cons) and we opted to change the electrical panel. He took care of the City permit & inspection and did a very good job. Maurice is reliable, punctual and professional. He left his work area neat and tidy. Working with Maurice at MG Electric was a pleasure due to his professionalism. Needless to say, everything was completed to our satisfaction and beyond.

Maurice was the best electrician we have EVER had and we have been homeowners for more than 50 years. He was considerate, professional, cognizant we are in a pandemic and even called us the next day to see if everything was ok. We had the inside and outside panels replaced as well as the sprinkler pump timer. He identified a major issue that needed immediate addressing by FPL. FPL was out that night and the next day to fix the line going to the transformer. We could not be happier. Thank you Maurice.

One of the most professional companies Ive dealt with. Maurice came to my home as a third opinion on an electrical problem. The first guy tried to sell me a new everything and was trying to charge over 10k.The second would not even look at it without a $700 diagnostic fee but he hinted that based on his experience that it was a simple problem that could be fixed with a few hundred bucks; the company would not allow him to say that and pushes their employees to siphon money out of you any way they can. He suggested I call a more honorable company. Safe to say I said no thanks to both and called MG based on a friends recommendation. First off as everyone has stated Maurice is very clean, detail oriented, and he makes sure he explains everything in layman terms. Turns out the problem was as simple as calling FPL and potentially changing out an old breaker(TBD). His prices are very reasonable, he even fixed something one of the previous companies was trying to charge over 2k for in like 10 mins with no extra charge. I HIGHLY recommend you at least get a diagnostic from Maurice. There are a lot of companies out there that are just there to take your money and this is not one of them.

I must admit MG Electric does delivered on its promises, including Communications, Options/Soltions and Expertise. My experience was 100% positive. When there was a change in scheduling, I received prompt notification and the rescheduled appointment was on time. Now, my time is a very big deal to me, as I am one tough consumer and I have hesitation to fire a non-performer; I demand high service results and have no issue paying for it. BEST ELECTRICIAN EVER!! I recently requested service from MG Electric Inc. My electrician, Maurice, was absolutely amazing. I was very distressed about some issues I was having, and he was patient, kind, explained everything and mostly provided a notebook with all the cost upfront so there’d be no surprises. In the past I’ve had people do work and then tell me how much it cost and that’s not what this company does. They are very clear in what could certain repairs cost. They were on time, repaired my issues and did a fantastic job of cleaning up, including taking my fans that were broken.
