    Anchor Mechanical saved the day! Our home A/C stopped working yesterday and it was up to 81 in the house. Anchor immediately sent out a service tech after hours. Greg was professional and so helpful. Our A/C unit was so dirty and clogged. He got it all cleaned up and he had the parts to fix it at the same time. Greg explained what happened and how he fixed it. We are so thankful! Would highly recommend!

    Very satisfied with my new Heating and Air conditioning contractor Anchor Mechanical, referred by my old contractor that retired. Service Requests were available by text and I received a quick response. They were available within a week for a regular service call. The Technician Don and his Apprentice serviced my two oil burning furnaces for Winter. They were punctual, polite, and left the area clean. I was given verbal information regarding the assessment as well as a follow-up email with recommendations. I value the excellent service and felt the cost was reasonable.

    Greg was a such a great help. He explained what he was doing and refused coffee/tea.(It started snowing and its only getting thicker now.) Greg was professional very accommodating with my husband/my questions and got the heat fixed before the brutal cold coming Sunday night.     Great experience from start to finish. I recently had my existing house system replaced with a new duel fuel heat pump system. Rick Ungham was my consultant and is the gold standard when it comes to communication and customer service. The install team (Paul, Jake & Christian) were polite, knowledgeable, clean, efficient, and took pride in their work and working as a team. Highly recommend!

    Our first time with Anchor Mechanical. Had a gas tune up today. Greg, technician, arrived on time. Very personable and knowledgeable. Went right to work. There was a problem. He could not get the heat to come on. He tested everything and only one part was failing. A part that usually doesn’t according to him. In our discussion we asked if a vent pipe might contribute to the problem. He said it may. This summer we heard bird chirps coming from the two pipes. He went outside with his camera and looked inside the intake value. A bird had taken up residence this summer. 18+inches in. Greg removed the nest, turned on the furnace and let there be heat! Greg was great! We have asked to have him back out this spring for the AC tune up.

    We cannot thank Anchor Mechanical and their technician Greg W enough for their service today. Unfortunately, as luck would have it, I came home from work only to find that the capacitor on my unit was toast. This was well after 5 oclock in the evening. I contacted Anchor Mechanical and within the hour Greg arrived. He was knowledgeable, professional and got us back up and running quickly. I was also surprised that Anchor Mechanicals price was so very reasonable considering what others charge for emergency service. In this day and age it was truly refreshing to deal with such an honest and professional company.     What an amazing group of people - the person answering the phone did not start by asking the age of my system but sent a technician out within an hour. The technician worked for hours trying to repair the system and even called in another technician to try to fix it even though the system was 23 years old. Ultimately the salesman came in and did not try to up sell a new system and gave me excellent advice as to what I needed in a new HVAC system. Finally the installers showed up on time and did a great job installing the new system. This is a company that prides itself on customer service and integrity!

    I want to give a shout out to Anchor Mechanical for excellent response and customer service from Jessica and Greg! Our AC stopped working Tuesday evening and the upstairs was 90 degrees. The following morning I contacted Anchor and was greeted by Jessica who scheduled Greg to come to our home. Greg arrived within a few hours and had our AC up and running.     My overall experience working with them was great. Greg was incredibly knowledgeable and helpful. He identified the problem with my system quickly but still did his due diligence to make sure the issue was fully resolved before leaving. He also took the time to answer my questions, and went out of his way to be helpful. He clearly takes pride in his work, and definitely reflects well on the company as a whole.The price was reasonable, and significantly better than what I was being told by other companies it would cost to fix. They did not try to sell me on things that I didnt need, but were upfront about what the realistic costs would be.     We called Anchor because we had to repair our water supply line to our house. they were quick to respond and after thescope of work was laid out the crew showed up ready to get to work. the entire crew was professional, courtesy and friendly. the job was completed within a few hours and our water service was back to normal. i could not recommend Anchor and this crew more highly. the office staff were also a major asset for this company.

    Called to get a quote to replace my AC/Furnace and they responded within the hour. They came to my house the next day to look at my old system and had a quote for a replacement ready to go. Their cost was a lower than other competitors for an American Standard (Trane) system. The equipment was ordered the next day followed by installation 2 days later.The crew showed up on time and laid tarps across the entire floor where they would be walking and also wore shoe coverings. They completed the replacement in 5 hours! They cleaned up completely before they left, including all trash and old equipment. They even left my mechanical closet cleaner than how they found it!The system runs perfectly. They warrant their work and cover the first maintenance. Everyone at Anchor - from the owner to the mechanics, values each customer. It’s rare to get this combination of exceptional quality, affordability, and professionalism from contractors.     As a former plumber, the well to my home failed and after I made repeated failed attempts to repair I contacted Anchor Mechanical for assistance. They responded quickly and had a team on-site the next day. After a thorough diagnostic effort and pressure testing, their staff determined the the underground line supplying my home had failed. They replaced everything with new quality parts and got my water back up and running for a very reasonable price. Highly recommend them for complex and difficult mechanical repairs.

    My furnace stopped working out of the blue during 20 degree night temps. The furnace was originally installed by another company and when I called the number it went to Anchor. I was worried because I had never used them…. but really didn’t have a choice. Thank God ….,Anchor was a blessing. I was quickly scheduled with Greg. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient. He found the issue, explained the break down and fixed it !!     Anchor Mechanical comes through for us again. This time I had an alarm going off on my evacuator pump in the basement. Anchor was able to send a plumber out to us to evaluate the problem. Max showed up (whom has been here before) and discovered that the pump motor was no longer working.     Excellent experience! Doug really knew his way around our American Standard/ Trane HVAC system. After several other companies couldnt figure out the problem, or wanted to charge us $7K+ for a possible repair, Doug from Anchor Mechanical diagnosed the problem, ordered the part and replaced/repaired it! After the part came in, it took him about 20 minutes to have our system running properly again.

    Great service!! I had clients move into a new home and 2 days later they had plumbing issues. The 1st company they called gave them an estimate (in the thousands) to replace their pipes.     Andrew and Greg were on time, very courteous, and were very careful about keeping things clean while they worked. They protected my floors with blankets and cleaned up all dirt and debris that came from the replacement of my entire system. At the completion of the install Andrew addressed some additional concerns I had without hesitation.     Super fast service! Greg (our tech) was friendly, identified the problem quickly, and had it repaired within an hour. Despite having a fairly old system (and being AC repair illiterate), they didn’t try to upsell us on a new unit, but replaced the broken capacitor quickly and at a reasonable cost. But, you can be sure, when it does come time to replace the system, Anchor will be the company we call!

    3 weeks ago we moved into our first home! Two days ago, we had a clog in the master bathroom that caused water damage on two floors.I had called the first plumber that was referred to me and supposedly fixed it the job.The next day there was still the same clog. I reached out to a friend who gave me Anchor Mechanical. They came super fast and completed the job the right way. They even told me about a valve that needs to be replaced.Steve was nice and honest. Definitely knew what he was doing and assured me things were good.Soon after he left, I received a call from the boss, Aaron to see how things were and went. He reassured me that things will be good and if they aren’t, to call him directly anytime and he would have someone come right out.There was no clogs last night or this morning.I did not get that kind of customer service with the first plumber when I called to tell them there was still a clog.Anchor Mechanical and Aaron’s number are definitely being stored as a contact but in hopes I’ll never need it again unless I just want to call and say Hi!     If I could give this company 10 stars I would. Rick and Jason went above and beyond for us. Our AC went out yesterday in the middle of a heat wave and we have a 9 month old and two dogs at home so we were scrambling to get our system fixed. The first company that came out ordered a part but said we’d be without AC for at least a week. At that point we decided to start getting quotes for new AC systems since we have been wanting to upgrade anyways so we called Achnor and another company. Rick came out to prepare a quote and in addition to preparing a quote, he called around to find a part that could be used to help get our AC up and running. Jason came out today and spent a couple hours in the scorching heat getting the fan motor installed and was able to get it going for us. We are just so grateful. None of the other companies looked for creative solutions to help us and knowing our home will be a safe temperature for our baby tonight is everything to us.

    Look no further for an amazing company! We had some plumbing issues this past weekend at our rental property. I was having trouble finding a plumber who was open on the weekend, a holiday weekend at that. Several folks from FB recommended Arron at Anchor Mechanical.     Highly recommend! Our AC went out early in the morning on the hottest day of the year and as soon as companies opened that morning we made several calls. Anchor mechanical was one of the companies we called and one of the only companies that could get out to our house right away the same morning. Don from Anchor arrived at our house ahead of schedule and was friendly, knowledgeable and was able to repair the part temporarily until a more permanent part came in. Within 2-3 weeks the new part came in and office staff in particular, Brooke and Heather, were extremely responsive with communicating and getting service set up.     Anchor Mechanical is a top notch mechanical company. Our plumbing issues started Thursday after normal business hours. I initially made an appointment with Len the Plumber then given a time frame 11-4. I called at 3pm and told a dispatcher would be calling back. The dispatcher called back after 4pm on a Friday to let me know they couldn’t diagnosis the plumbing problem till Sunday because they had other plumbing emergency calls. I guess my plumbing problems were not a priority for Len the Plumber. ☹️I knew I didn’t want to wait all weekend to find out what was happening with my plumbing. I then reached out to Anchor Mechanical LLC. They took my information and immediately had their customer oriented service manager Aaron call me back within 15 minutes after 5pm on a Friday! (Wow) He also offered to send someone out Friday and not charge me the inflated fees several other companies quoted. Saturday morning they sent out Bobby who was knowledgeable and experienced plumber whom was able to diagnose and repair the plumbing issues quickly. I will continue to recommend this customer service oriented and well experienced plumbing mechanical company! 😁

They removed a portion of baseboard heating, did maintenance on our heater, installed a water softener system, and most recently a plumbing emergency that they nailed on the head and fixed in short order. The technicians have been polite and awesome. Definitely recommend them for residential plumbing of all sorts.

    I find Anchor Mechanical to be one of the best residential HVAC contractors in the greater Baltimore area. I have tried others in the past. I replaced a water source air conditioning system in my home that was at the end of its useful life. Anchor promptly located a new unit and installed it with the utmost professionalism.     5 stars isnt a high enough score for the people at Anchor. It was a first class experience from the first call(emergency) for a water heater that was leaking bad, and spreading fast across the carpet in our finished basement, to the handshake at the end of installation that evening. Found leak on Friday at 2pm and everything completed by 8 pm.     Im extremely happy with working with Anchor Mechanical for my Hybrid Electric Water Heater install. After searching around for pricing (many of which was outrageous from highly-referred companies in the area), I finally found Anchor Mechanical who was able to provide extremely reasonable pricing. I think after the fact they wished they would have charged more due to the complexity / time for the install and the high cost of the additional copper piping needed, but they never even entertained the idea of charging me more. It was the first time that the plumber installed a Hybrid unit, so that may have played a factor into how long it took, but patience and completing the job well is not a bad thing when youre not paying per-job and not per-hour!Im definitely happy with Anchor and will certainly be contacting them with future plumbing needs!

    I normally don’t write any reviews but in this case I feel compelled to share my experience. About four days ago my air-conditioning in the house stopped working. I called Anchor Mechanical LLC about seven in the morning and they had someone at my house in about two hours. He assessed the situation told me what I needed and had it fixed in a very short period of time. 48 hours later my hot water heater stopped working. This was over the Fourth of July so on 6th ofJuly anchor mechanical had somebody come out exactly when they said they would arrive. 90 minutes later a new Hot water heater was installed.     Lost AC over what felt like the hottest weekend ever. Even after hours on a Friday evening (!) Anchor was SUPER responsive. They literally texted me back within minutes. Was able to discuss our options and schedule the whole thing via text, which was awesome (we all hate the phone these days, right?). Obviously, this was more expensive than if we had waited until Monday, but we were desperate, and they were very up front about how expensive it would be. We knew what we were getting into! It was well worth the money, especially when you consider the AC is in our attic, which I cant imagine was any cooler than the 7th circle of hell that day. Despite that, our technician, Don, was a real trooper and downright awesome. Very nice, very thorough, and loved our dog (always a plus). Zero complaints, many compliments. Highly recommend.

    Don came out to service my AC for its summer tune up. I mean it when I say he was hands down one of the nicest repair techs I’ve ever had come work at my home! He explained what he was going to do, the “why” behind what he was doing, as well as gave me an idea of things that needed repair immediately and what l had time to do a bit later. Before he did anything he discussed pricing to ensure I didn’t get sticker shock at the end of his visit. From the office to the managers to the techs, Anchor has been great during my first experience with them and as long as they continue the great work, I’ll be a customer for life!

    My AC unit went up, so I had both my furnace and outside unit replaced. Andrew and Rick did the installation. I worked from home that day, never heard them coming in and out.     Our septic alarm went off last night and in a panic we called Anchor Maintenance based on a recommendation from a friend. I discussed my concern with Arron Bogan and sent him some photos of our pumps since I really don’t know much about plumbing. Arron said he’d be out first thing tomorrow to help us out.And he sure did! Arron drove all the way out to Carroll County today to solve our issue. It was something minor but a huge relief to a new homeowner with no septic experience. He not only fixed the issue, but he taught me a bit about my system and the way it operates and gave advice for keeping up with it in the future. He was super personable and had us cracking up with his humor.I am so grateful for people like Arron. He genuinely cared and wanted to help as opposed to just coming out and throwing numbers at my checkbook. I will absolutely call Arron for any future issues!Thanks again, Arron!

    When a company prioritizes their people, the proof is reflected in the work. Arron & Bobby, radiated professionalism & genuinely cared for our concerns. We can’t recommend them enough! During an extremely busy time, they made sure to fit us in, answer ALL (so many) questions and went above & beyond to make sure our water was pristine!I’m selfishly excited that my hair is finally losing the orange iron tint 🤣 oh and also the ability to wash white clothes again, less hard water stains etc. Our only regret is not doing this sooner.

    Excellent installation by Rick and Andrew of a new indoor air handler and outside split system heat pump as well as a new thermostat. They were very professional with arriving on time and respecting our home with floor covers and shoe covers to protect our rugs. During the install answering all questions about the equipment as well as the maintenance to keep our new system running for years to come. From getting our estimate from Brian ( honest , straight forward, and didn’t try to sell us anything unnecessary) to the 2 installers I believe Anchor Mechanical Inc was the best company for the job based off of the quality of the products, the cost, and the 3 employees I had the pleasure of meeting who setup and replaced my old failing hvac system. They will be the first company I call for any hvac or plumbing needs I have in the future.     Rick and Andrew were absent fantastic! Showed up within an hour of my call, identified the issue and even drove a half hour to pick up a needed part. My system was back up and running within a few hours. I cannot recommend Rick and Andrew enough. They should both get raises!
