Just moved into our house in Avon and need an EV charger installed. I got quotes from several companies. Sky Electric was the only one who told me about the EV charger and installation rebate offered by Eversource. They are right in the middle in terms of price. They arrived on time, finished ahead of schedule, and cleaned up the site perfectly. The EV Charger works without any problem. Highly recommend them for any electrical work.

I’ve used Sky Electric for a couple years and they’re one of the best local companies in CT.They’re my go-to for electric needs and it was no different when Greg came out today (7/27/21) to replace a kitchen light fixture that the led battery (attached to the fixture) had burned out & had a couple of new outdoor LED motion sensor lights I’d been wanting to upgrade, installed as well.Kris (the owner) has done work for me in the past (bathroom fans and a security doorbell) and has always been great. And today, had the pleasure of meeting Greg.A great company here in Connecticut for your electric needs, you won’t regret using them.

My experience was beyond expectation. Kris and team installed a new home generator but more importantly supported me on Christmas eve when it stopped functioning. He worked with me for several hours until we figured it out during a storm and extended power outage. The problem had nothing to do with his work. He was there when our family needed him and is our electrician for as long as we are here.

I kid you not.. best price out of five separate contractors that I had come for the job. They got the job done in half the time the other contractors told me and he was prompt. As a former Marine I respect people who are on time.

One word: Amazing. Sky electric is hands down the most affordable, efficient, and responsive team I have ever had with electrical needs. Not only did they follow the timeline provided on when they would be able to do the job, they went out of their way to make sure my custom lighting needs were met and above my expectations. From the dimmer type, suggestions on the best way to go about a lighting need, and communication about progress was unbeatable. If there was a problem or need to make a change to how a lighting wiring was needed, fixture changes necessary, or simply to confirm how I wanted recessed lighting to be laid out was communicated. I had a lot done. New wiring for bedrooms that had never had lighting, new light fixtures, recessed lighting in two rooms, re-routing of switch connections to name many. The pricing was at least $1200 lower than any other quote, they completed all of it in one day when every other electrician quoted 3 or more days, and they cleaned everything up so that there was no mess. I unfortunately couldn’t be there due to work, but my roommate said they were amazing and I couldn’t be happier. I have recommended them to all of my friends and family and will continue to use them for years to come. Good work, honest prices, and most importantly, a team I trust. They could have upcharged me for some of the additional work involved, but they stayed true to their quote and I am still in shell shock at the quality work. It looks as if all of the upgrades were done when the house was built, they did not cut a single corner.
