We were introduced to Volpato Construction as part of a larger construction project from our general contractor. They performed all of the structural and finish carpentry and were absolutely fantastic. Edwardo and Fernando Volpato along with their crew went above and beyond to make sure the work was done right. They were proactive in asking questions and ensuring everything was done right from the get-go. We had several architectural hiccups from our dormer addition but Eds engineering background helped refocus last minute design changes to get the job done in a timely manner. They kept the job site clean (often from other subs too), were always on time and just a pleasure to work with. I couldnt recommend them more. -

A leak in the flat, rubber roof that covers around 3/4 of my house lead to a new roof being installed. When the existing rubber was removed it revealed several areas that had been badly damaged by years of undetected water seepage…including the almost total disintegration of the major structure supporting the back corners.Volpato Construction was brought in to further investigate the extent of the damage and devise a plan to make the repairs. After removing the shingles and water soaked sheathing, it was clear that columns and beams were completely destroyed.Eduardo and his crew very carefully cut away the damaged wood while building temporary supports to maintain the structural integrity of the house. During this two week process, each day a new issue was uncovered. As the extent of the damage became more apparent, Eduardo confidently worked to rebuild everything as smoothly as possible.The crew would arrive early and work late and were very diligent and professional. Everyday they would pack up their equipment and leave the site neat and orderly. All areas open to the elements would be closed up and secured. Over one weekend a potential hurricane was expected to pass the area so extra supports were put up to reinforce the roof.While they were here, they inspected all around the house and replaced any shingles or window frames that were showing signs of damage. When the project was finished the yard was cleaned up and left without a trace of construction debris.Thanks to Eduardo and the crew of Volpato we have the peace of mind knowing our home is safe and secure. -

Eduardo and his team are top notch. They rebuilt our deck (including new footings) and then re-sided our entire house in Medford (with several layers of old siding to pull off). They started early in the morning and went all day -- they are super hard workers, but are also so attentive to detail. They were also just super nice people, too -- always answering our questions, asking appropriate follow up, etc. Truly, they are an ideal company and well use them whenever we can. I met Ed and his team at Volpato through my general contractor as they were tasked with both demolition and reframing of the second floor of my house. They did an INCREDIBLE job and it is clear that Ed is both detail-oriented and thinks critically about his work. One example: Along the way, Ed immediately identified that the closet locations as my architect had drawn were not the most effective use of space, and walked me through an alternative suggestion using existing pockets of space in the bedrooms. We ended up following his suggestions and the space is so much more expansive/usable as a result! Likewise he had a few suggestions for my first floor kitchen area that I also plan on following through in the future. Ed couldve just done the job he was asked to do, but instead he went above and beyond to think critically, ask questions, and come up with creative suggestions that ultimately made the renovation much more impactful. He also has a very kind and gentle personality (something I appreciated in an otherwise very chaotic renovation), and his whole team were reliable, hard-working, and overall superb. I cant recommend their services enough. -

Eduardo and his men installed a front door and storm door last week and I have been very pleased with the result. When they first installed it, they did a great job but the sill was much higher then the floor and I was worried it was a tripping hazard. I shared my disappointment with them and they came back to completely take out the doors and fix the problem (removed brick) and then installed them all over again without charging me double. Obviously they take pride in their work and honor their agreements which I very much appreciate. Both doors look great and function perfectly. Also, the men were excellent at managing dust (they put up a plastic barrier so dirt didnt enter the house) and were great at wearing masks (nothing under the nose, they wore them properly). Eddie and his team installed a roof deck for us and they did an incredible job despite it was snowing and raining. They did it very quickly and they are very knowledgeable on deck constructions. We are happy with the outcome and would definitely work with them again.
