My husband & I are thrilled with the installation of our new chandelier done by Tom at Primary Choice Electric. It was a complicated install because of the previous owners DIY ceiling fan job combined with our house being over 100 years and made of stone but Tom set everything to rights and the results speak for themselves (see photo.) Primary Choice has also upgraded our electric service from 100 to 200 amps (the township electric inspector commented on what a great job they did), installed GFI outlets, whole house surge protection and through it all been professional, on time and reasonably priced. It gives us great peace of mind knowing our electric service is safe & up to code. Highest recommendation for Tom and the folks at Primary Choice Electric!

After moving into a new house, Tom was the perfect person to help us add many fans, recessed lighting to multiple rooms. He worked steadily for two and a half days and always took care to make everything look great. He kept us into the loop on any issues or concerns he had. Highly recommended.

Im a very detail oriented person, and Tom exceeded my expectations. He had to do substantial wiring for lighting I was adding to my house, and was able to do unbelievable fishing of the wires , the best I have seen. He was professional, prompt and answered all my questions and concerns. I would highly recommend him for any electrical needs, and would definitely only hire him for any other jobs I may have in the future.

Highly recommend this company! Tom is personable, professional, accommodating to the customer need, and his pricing fair and reasonable. I called Tom at 9 AM requesting service to my outdoor lamp post, he was able to fit me in at noon. Tom repaired the lamp post, and while talking I asked a question about dimmer switches, showed Tom what I wanted and he was able to install the dimmer switch during the same visit. Thank you Tom!

Tom offered up his professional opinion providing us with a different perspective for the lighting in the room we were remodeling and we were so thankful he did. We believe that ultimately we would have been dissatisfied had we continued down our own path and are grateful he spoke up and allowed us the opportunity to decide based on the options. What a great business! I’m also a small business owner and needed help getting the electric set up for a dryer that I bought. Tom was great! Very professional, very affordable and extremely knowledgeable. He talked me through each step that he would do before he gave me a quote on the spot. Followed up with me a few days later, set up a time for him to come and do the work. He did everything he mentioned! He was very nice and easy to work with and I will be sure to reach out for any other electric needs I may encounter!!

I found Primary Choice Electric on Google and gave them a call. Tom has been nothing but a true Godsend and I cant say enough about what a smart, hard working, and competent electrician he is. He gave me a great price/estimate and completed the work quickly and completely satisfied not only me but the inspector! I felt fine having him in my house and you can tell he is a trustworthy gentleman and hardworking and dedicated family man. I recently called him again for some more work and he will be hooking up my central air ! Ive had plumbers and carpenters work on my house and they were not always the best experiences. I wish all contractors could be like Tom who is friendly, here when he says, does excellent work, and charges a fair and affordable price. He is my electrician for life.

AMAZING! Fast but great work. 1.5 days to install a second floor grounded outlet, 12 outlets and switches replaced in home, 4 ceiling fans replaced, bathroom exhaust replaced (including proper venting to outside) and kitchen light replaced. When he came for the walkthrough before quoting job he was very through and professional. When replacing the bathroom exhaust/light the new one was more square than our old rectangular one. It left some gaps in the ceiling on two sides and I thought we would have to do some touch up work. He came the 2nd day and said, Hey, I wasnt happy with how the bathroom looked. I like my work to look better than that so I brought some drywall from home to patch it. WHAT! I was blown away at the level of consideration. He also did not charge for this and he easily could of. Also, when adding the second floor grounded outlet he went to piping he attached on outside of house. He says, Oh, hey. I added an outlet outside while I was running the line. I noticed you didnt have one and I figured while I was working on it anyway. WHAT!! He also did not include this in the invoice. AMAZING! The level of professionalism, consideration and quality is off the charts! Also, the price and detail of the quote was good enough for me to book on the spot without hesitation.

I was given Tom’s name by my son who had used him for exhaust fans in his bathroom and was extremely pleased. I can’t say I feel any different. I had him on one occasion when our electric was out in some rooms and he solved the problem quickly. Recently, he put in a line to run power to a new heat pump we had installed for our in ground pool. It was a big undertaking but he did a fantastic job. Very thorough, professional and kind to boot. Communication is paramount with him and he even called a week later to see how everything was working. If you are looking for an electrician, look no further!
