Great service. All the work was clean and well done. They did whatever it was necessary to start very early in the morning so we could attend to an appointment in the evening. Jesus Arvizo and Aiden Moore additionally very courteous and nice. Darrell Montgomery was a delight to have come work on our property. He was very knowledgeable in electrical work and walked me through the process of our outlets and what was asked of him. 10/10 would recommend this man to work on your electrical needs. He also mentioned trying to start a first time home owners class, which I think is a great idea. I have no idea what I would be doing and a class like that to help walk us through things we may come across would be beneficial. Thanks Darrell!

I had Top Shelf come to my home to look at two separate plumbing issues. Jeremy was very professional and able to identify issues quickly, within about an hour. He explained everything well and gave me a straight forward path for these fixes. Their prices were reasonable and I will look to use this team again in the future if I find any problems.

Our technician, Jeremi, was clean and courteous - addressing the required repairs in a timely manner. Were happy with the level of service we received and are now able to move with the sale of our home.

Edit: the owner Ryan was extremely responsive to this and helped jump on it right away. Team is coming back out and I am since found out Jeremi no longer works for the company which would explain my lack of response.Sadly I did have not had a good experience with Top Shelf. I paid over 20k with the company and do not believe the workmanship is up to that standard. Jeremi told me the AC line set would need to come out of the back of our home in the center of a wall however it would be covered with a line set cover. This was mentioned before the install and he also mentioned during installation when we walked outside next to the line set. To my disappointment the installation team (who were extremely helpful and I have nothing negative to say about them!) informed me they don’t do lineset covers over the AC unit lines only mini splits. They also mentioned the sales folks know this. At this point I feel lied to about scope of work and how the final product would look. This is our home and our backyard and it is an extreme eye sore. The install team mentioned the possibility of getting a metal fabricator to make a customer cover and they brought it back to Jeremi. I did not hear anything for weeks so decided to send him a message, absolutely zero response, not even a “we aren’t going to do that” literally nothing. At this point I am going to have to pay out of pocket to cover the line as I am not received any response or update.

This started with a $39 water heater inspection and then I asked about a new furnace (we have been talking about it for 2 years) and we were given a price, financing, and a date of tomorrow. That could not be beaten !! I had Andy & Jesus as the installers and they kicked butt!!! Paul the electrician set the electrical side up and gave me good direction on my system. After the installation Jesus walked me through my new furnace and now my house is warm. Three very nice guys- excellent service-right now I couldn’t be happier!!!! Thank you!!

Got a quote from Top Shelf and another well-reviewed company just down the road from Top Shelf. The other company came out first and quoted me substantially more than Top Shelf and also tried to upsell me on a new breaker for thousands above the job I requested. When Darrell from Top Shelf showed up, the quote was much more reasonable and professional. He got the work done in a timely manner and it all looked clean compared to what the other company was trying to set up. Happy to have found a company for electrical work when I need things fixed.

Top Shelf did a fantastic job on an unconventional AC install. I was really pleased with their communication, pleasantness and quality of work. Would highly recommend!Update: The installed system is working great. Heres something to be aware of though: The 18-month interest-free financing plan will hurt your credit score (mine dropped 75 points!). The reason is that the financing vehicle is a Wells Fargo credit card. The credit card account is opened up and will have the financed amount on the balance which pretty much maxes out the credit card. Once the credit bureaus see this new maxed out card, your credit score will be getting torpedoed. Feedback to Top Shelf - you should let people know this up front and/or switch to a different financing vehicle.

A representative came out and gave us a estimate. He came out the same day we called. This was during our cold snap. It was minus 10 degrees. They put in a new furnace andair system that same day. Paul was great. He went the extra step to ensure the area he worked on was properly concealed and installed. Less a star for the office switching to a different service charge to get their buck over a 20 minute trip I took during my work day to Home Depot to avoid a 10x markup on a doorbell transformer. In total it took 2 hours so I’m not sure if over $500 made sense for that with no material cost. In short I would recommend Paul, not necessarily the company.

For the install, we had the fortune of having Jesus and Miguel in our home. They were an absolute pleasure to work with. My chime was also defective which I was quoted an additional $100 to fix, I declined as $350 should have been enough to cover this entire work order. I hired Top Shelf to upgrade our service panel from a smaller panel to a larger 200 amp service. What I really appreciate about them in each interaction with each person I had was that I could tell they are good people. They provide good customer service. I dont believe they will tell me something that isnt true and I felt I could believe what they told me. In my situation, the trim wasnt reinstalled after the panel was complete, and they fully accepted responsibility (I must also point out this was not a big deal and I am mentioning this only because to me, it shows great integrity to own it when a mistake happens, and this was NOT A BIG DEAL) and came out to fix it when I contacted them later that day. I know I said this above, but for me this is a hugely positive for this company. This is something I look for when interviewing people/companies to work on my home. I believe you will experience honest work from Top Shelf, and I highly recommend them.

We recently purchased an older home and had to not only update/upgrade our electrical panel, but also wanted to get central air. Dawn booked our estimate and bless her heart listened at my frustrations and laughed with me as I made analogy after analogy about the electricity. Two days later (super fast! Not an emergency job) - Jason came over to give us an estimate, was upfront and gave us the best advice. He and Darrell came back and were at the house all day to replace EVERY outlet and switch in the whole house - AND repaired our panel. They even installed a ceiling fan for my mom. After experiencing an electrical fire at our home we contacted Top Shelf for an estimate to replace the damaged electrical panel box, meter, and wiring. From our very first communication, they were polite, responsive, and professional. Johan notified us he was on his way by text and was at our front door promptly at 8:00 am as promised. After assessing the work requirements, they assembled and coordinated with Xcel Energy and the county for permits and inspections. Johan worked well into the evening on a Friday night to do the installation always maintaining a great attitude and demeanor. He treated our home like it was his own, making sure his work was accurate, safe, and clean. And the tech showed us how to replace our dryer vent hose so we could do it ourselves and save money instead of calling a vent company. In the end we felt they gave incredible customer service.

Weve now used Top Shelf Electric twice for electrical projects for our house, as theyre dependable, pricing is reasonable, and they are extremely thorough. We will continue to use them as we bid additional renovation projects for all those same reasons. Shout out to Johan, hes worked on both of our projects. I had two water heaters removed from my house and converted to a tankless water system. I had called and spoke with Jeremy after he gave me my estimate and reviewed everything I had questions on. I reviewed 3 bids and chose Top Shelf. One of my bids was significantly higher. i know I had a big job. Jeremy, Dylan and Darrell came . To complete my job they needed to add an outlet. They cleaned the areas where the old heaters came out. Also very detailed when they reviewed how the system worked. The work was completed in one day. So very happy with the work that was completed and the crew was great to work with.

The guys did an excellent job overall, and they were very attentive to my requests. Their attention to detail with the work that they did was great. At one point my internet connection was lost and I was working from home, and they were very considerate, waiting for the issue to resolve before they left. I appreciated their level of care and communication. The only area that could have been better was ensuring that they cleaned up after themselves (cut wire, sawdust, concrete dust), but Im willing to look past that due to the other positives. I think they do great work and I would still use them again for future needs.

I contacted Top Shelf to have some can lights installed in our kitchen. I set up an appointment and the technician showed up right on time. Johan did an amazing job. We had four can lights in our kitchen that unfortunately, were not installed evenly. Johan was able to remove an overhead light and replace it with a can light, add five more additional cans and made it look great! Highly recommend!! Five stars for sure!!

My 85-year old mother is having a major demo/remediation done on her basement. With it, she decided to replace her HVAC system and water heater. My organizing and working with all the various companies to pull this together has been no small task. The first time I called Top Shelf, I was met with a friendly and helpful voice on the other line. They were able to schedule an estimate appointment within 2 days of my call, and the removal/installs quickly followed. Jason has been our tech, and not only is he knowledgeable, prompt and good at his job, its also obvious he truly cares and has wanted to make this as easy on my mom as possible. Hes been great about working with the remediation and demo companies ensuring the timing of all of this works as needed. My mom is pretty picky about service and knows good quality when she sees it. To have her be pleased with Top Shelf so far is saying a lot, and if shes happy so are we!!

This place is awesome! I certainly wasnt looking forward to replacing my water heater, but Top Shelf definitely softened the fall! I got a few estimates and not only were they far less than the competition, but Top Shelf was super responsive, transparent and I paid the estimated price - no BS! A few other places kept leaving the door open for further charges and with my water heater being a unique type that was already expensive to replace, value was very important to me. I also liked that Gerardo was the estimator AND the installer, and did a great job explaining what I needed to do to make sure this water heater lasts as long as the last one. Dawn who runs the command center was also awesome and very accommodating. Lastly, I appreciate that Ryan the owner is a Veteran, and takes care of fellow Veterans with a kind discount. All in all, I hope to never replace my furnace or AC unit, but when they eventually go, my first call is to Dawn at Top Shelf!!!
