DCH was absolutely incredible. I interviewed 5 contractors when looking to finish our basement this year and from the moment I met this family I knew they would be a good fit. Their price came in at fair amount (they arent the cheapest, but who wants that!). Now what really impressed me is how responsive they are and the tight timelines they kept throughout the whole project. DCH pushed through our basement finish in just over 2 months, as promised, and it looks phenomenal. Sue was easy to communicate any field changes to and quick to get answers when I asked questions. The comprehensive contract they have you sign gives you peace of mind that you know exactly what youre getting. All of their subcontractors were professional and ultimately I am so glad we made the right choice of a general contractor. I would use DCH again in a heartbeat.

We used DCH to finish our basement on our Aurora home several years ago. When we purchased a new home in the Inspiration development , also in Aurora, we did not hesitate to contact them again to do the work.We were extremely pleased both times. Trey and Don were very involved in helping us plan out the layouts to maximize the utility of the space. Trey and Sue were great in overseeing the process and getting the projects completed in a timely fashion.In our new home, we wanted a home theater and again they helped plan out the space. Their employees and subcontractors were all professional, efficient and easy to work with. After completion, if we found something that wasnt exactly right, they were prompt to come back and fix the things we pointed out.We have recommended DCH to friends in our development who have also been pleased with the work they have done. If we ever move to another home and need to finish a basement, they will be our first choice. My wife and I are happy to recommend DCH - use them and you will not be disappointed!!

We hired DCH to finish our basement this summer. They did a wonderful job for us. They started on the day they said they would, they said upfront when it would be finished and they met that date. Nearly every day someone was on site to do work. The work was high quality, our basement came out great and is exactly what we wanted. I highly recommend them.

If you are looking for someone to finish your basement choose DCH. They finished our 900 sq ft basement in under 2 months and did a great job. What I enjoyed the most about DCH was that they were a completely turn key operation. They are a small family run and veteran friendly organization and they make you feel like part of the family. What a great experience! DCH Construction is a family business that you can trust. When DCH worked on our basement, which was a large undertaking, they held and maintained their timelines while giving us an amazing finished product. They are extremely responsive and timely. Their trades and project management professionals are top notch. It was absolutely lovely working with DCH Construction. Sue and Trey and their entire team are more than just basement specialists - its an art form with them. They produced a practical design and continued improving on it while framing and were really approachable and open to ideas. Their team was amazing to work with. Great people, very personable. My husband and I used DCH to finish our basement, and we could not be happier and could not speak more highly of this company. DCH Construction had wonderful design ideas and were great to work with, through every step of the remodel process. Every time we had a question or needed something they would hop on our request and respond immediately. Additionally, they finished on time!!!! The crew would show up early and stay the entire day and would complete each task with precision and care. Also the project manager wanted to make sure that every little detail was addressed and everything was finished with the highest quality. Lastly, when I would call the front office they knew who I was and we developed a wonderful working relationship. They made the remodel process stress-free and I truly felt like I had a partner through the entire journey.

DCH just finished our basement and they did a fabulous job! We cant say enough good things about the final quality of the workmanship provided by their contractors. The finished product exceeded our expectations! Only advice is to make sure you keep up your end of the deal! the homeowner has to make a lot of choices (all a lot of fun!) and needs to make sure those are in hand to support the construction process. We absolutely recommend DCH for your basement remodeling job.

We are very pleased with the finished basement DCH did for us. With the exception of the single poor review listed herein, we agree with all the positive reviews posted (read through them). Great attention to detail, high quality workmanship, very good sub contractors, gave us what we wanted, were very pleasant about a few changes/corrections we wanted, nice family business, and nice family. We have and would recommend them (our neighbors on each side of us are going to have DCH do their basements). We feel very good about out basement and our experience with DCH.

DCH Construction was great!!! Sue, Trei, Mandi, and Jason did a wonderful job from start to finish in the completion of our basement project and they use the top trades/contracting companies to complete all the plumbing, HVAC, electrical, tile work, carpeting, and framing. All the paperwork before we started was also helpful as we had everything purchased and ready for them once they started the basement project. The basement looks great and is now our most favorite room in the house!!! If you want your basement finished, go with DCH Construction! You wont be disappointed!

Once again, we had a great experience with this family owned company and the subs they work with are first-rate. Timely completion and excellent attention to detail. A jewel in the Denver basement market. Highly recommend.(Full Basement). We had the pleasure of having our basement recently finished by DCH Construction. They delivered on their promises, were extremely timely with their completion time estimate, and efficiently coordinated some very friendly and competent subcontractor trades who, it was obvious, also enjoyed working for DCH. Most notably, we had a situation that involved a very significant problem caused by our original contractor. DCH rose to the occasion and quarterbacked a solution when they could have just as easily washed their hands of the situation. We highly recommend their services. You won’t be disappointed.

Finishing a basement is - like building a home; inside your home/while you are living there. With DCH Construction - the entire process could not have been more positive. From the very first contact and subsequent visit by Trei, I knew this was the contractor for my home. Trei listened, processed and then recommended some idea. His first version of the basement was “spot on” to what I wanted. He was able to add in suggestions based upon his experience and every idea only made it better. The contract process was very simple, straight forward and noting was left to the imagination. The details contained in the agreement really brought to mind the attention to detail DCH has for every customer. The construction started and every sub-contractor was exceptional. The common attitude was; “if this were my basement - this is what I would do and this is how I would do it.” I enjoyed their support and it was refreshing to see the spirit/pride in their trade and DCH. One feature I absolutely loved was the trades came and went without anyone having to be home. Their focus on personal property security, personal security and trust runs through the entire DCH family. As the job progressed small things did come up. In two cases Sue, knew immediately the paint number was wrong. Without hesitation Sue reached out and a short conversation later - we had it solved. With our granite there was similar, small issue on design and again Sue stepped right in and wanted the granite “the way I wanted it.” It is great to have that kind of support and attention to detail. I loved the communications that kept everyone on the same page. The subs showed up when schedule, worked within the hours of the contract and cleaned up after each sub. My bottom line is simple - if you want a quality, timely, professional basement finishing there is only one company I would strongly recommend without any hesitation - DCH Construction.

I cannot say enough good things about DCH Construction! We recently finished our basement with them and from start to finish they were an absolute pleasure to work with. We initially met with 8 different companies and DCH left us with the best impression hands down. Weve had contractor nightmares in the past (for much smaller jobs) and there was not one single issue with this project. Sue & Trei with DCH were always professional and personable...we really appreciated working with a smaller, family owned business.Perks of working with DCH:- Competitive prices- ‎Fast completion - our basement took 6 weeks to finish, most other companies quoted 8-10 weeks to complete- ‎Higher end finishes for no extra cost - the tile & carpet used are much nicer than in the rest of our house!- ‎Vendors went thru the windows, not thru the house- ‎ALL vendors were extremely respectful, courteous, and profesional - we hardly even knew they were there!

We would highly recommend DCH Construction if you are considering finishing your basement. From the beginning of the process, where they listened to our ideas and presented us a plan that incorporated those ideas as well as some new ideas for us to consider, through to the end which was on time with a very high quality product, it was an excellent experience. Consider the following: Their initial bid was by far the most reasonable we received. The changes and additions we chose to make along the way were also fairly priced and documented. There was no billing for items that required a little work that were discovered after the final bid. The work was of excellent quality and all inspections (they handle all permitting) were passed the first time. Their crews were both professional and mindful that they were working in a house where people were living. Approval was requested for any work on weekends. The closing had no surprises and was mostly thanking new friends for doing what they promised. Please put DCH on your list to contact when it is basement finish time.

They went in/out the basement windows so didnt have anyone or material coming through the house. I had a problem with the grout on some hexagon tile and they worked on it until it was right and I was satisfied. (inconsistent color). I would highly recommend.

Our basement is now called our lower level.Usually there are hiccups during a construction project. Trei and his team did an amazing job! They completed our job in less than the estimated time frame. Their prices were competitive. We had our house appraised right after the work was completed and the value of the improvements was significantly higher than the price we paid! They were very clean and did a great job keeping the dust under control. Our friends and family compliment us on the high quality of the work and the attention to detail. My wife and I were concerned with workers in our home while we were at work. Trei arranged for a lockbox system which only allowed a limited number of people into the main part of our home while the work was being done in our basement. This gave us peace of mind. We would absolutely without a doubt recommend DCH Construction to our friends and family.

I can not say enough about DCH. We went with them because of the time, price and they went above and beyond to make sure that they would not be disturbing my household during construction. They were very responsive to my emails and calls, even on weekends! I also asked if they could possible get it done a week before the agreed upon timeline and they did everything they could and made it happen! They are also perfectionists and would find things that i would have never noticed and corrected it. I will work with them again in the future.

We had our basement finished by DCH Construction. The job was quoted to take 6-8 weeks and it was completed in 5 weeks. The craftsmen ship was awesome and the employees were professional and reliable. The one thing I have to say is that when completing a basement there is a ton of dust but Trei and his crew made sure to keep everything clean. Anything we wanted changed Trei was more than happy to do. If we need more work done on our house we will be calling Trei.
