    Ned does such a great job with our plumbing concerns. He’s so thorough and competent. What makes him stand out is how much he cares that things are done correctly. I won’t trust anybody else with our plumbing needs. Meridian has performed two-bathroom remodels for us, well tank replacement, water heater, and sump pump.

    Ryan and Sierra far exceed my expectations. They were on time, professional and thorough. I greatly appreciated their efficiency re-installing my level 2 EV charging circuit after a botched job by different company. The service entry breaker panel in my home is complicated and it took careful work to do the job properly. They did a it beautifully! I highly recommend the Meridian Company. I intend to use them for all my electrical work in the future.

    I have used Meridian Plumbing a lot over the years. All of their work is top notch. I greatly appreciate that products are available from their trucks when they arrive. Scheduling is easy and prompt. Today; 11-13-2024 I had a new toilet installed. Aaron Van Halst did another superb job. And, as in the past, once job is completed, I rest assured that any issues that do arise will be addressed efficiently. Quality of work is 110 percent for sure

    My contact with The Meridian Company employees has been outstanding, including people I talked to on the phone, people who came to my house to give me the estimates, and the people who did the installation of appliances. I had a new air conditioner, furnace, and hot water heater installed. The installers were great to interact with. Justin was very courteous and helpful in answering my many questions even when I interrupted while he was working. And after the installation was completed he took time to show me what was done and to answer all my questions. I am very pleased with the work that was done.

    Ethan and Chloe performed a variety of work for us - new toilet, touchless kitchen faucet, and upgraded shower head installations along with some needed repairs. Despite the snowy day, the work was performed professionally and accurately with no dirt entering the house even with repeated trips back to their truck. Both techs were knowledgeable and offered many suggestions for future improvements along with excellent answers to questions over the course of the work. Wed certainly welcome back when we need plumbing work in the future.

    We have used Meridian Company 3x for our electrical needs since moving into our new home in 2023. Each time they’ve arrived on time, professional and have been easy to communicate with. Their pricing is competitive to others in the area. Tyler has been out each time and he does a great job. They always clean up their work site and are usually quick yet thorough.     Meridian Plumbing and Kyle did an outstanding job. They squeezed us in and made a very thorough assessment of all the needs in our house and fixed them immediately.     The Meridian Company fixed our sump pump service line and drainage system after our basement partially flooded in June. They provided a reasonable estimate and finished the job efficiently. There were no unfortunate surprises and their servicemen were friendly and courteous. We will definitely call the Meridian Company again when were in need of service! We worked primarily with Zach, which was truly a pleasure.

    They were prompt courteous and knowledgeable. Kyle did a great job. Determined the problem and had their parts man bring the parts he needed which was a new bladder tank. Removed the old one installed a new tank, pressure switch, check valve shut off valve and necessary plumbing and got us going in one trip. It was so nice to have someone knowledgeable quick and courteous to do the job. I would definitely have him back from Meridian Plumbing.

    Fast service on what may be one of the hottest days of the year. My A/C went out in the middle of the night. Called just after 7am and left a message. It wasnt 10mins later and I had a call back. They couldnt give me an exact time but told me they would fit me in. Dylan came out a few hours later. He was very nice and knowledgeable! Had me up and running in no time. The service was so good I signed up for their yearly maintenance plan. Would highly recommend!

    I continue to appreciate the professional skill and kindness of this company. Aaron quickly addressed a plumbing issue for us today.But it was not the first time he has saved the day! A couple of years ago, our sump pump failed and our basement flooded. I was very upset, but I will always remember this confident, smiling man in very tall boots who appeared at the door. In what seemed like no time at all, we had a new sump pump running and water disappearing! What a huge relief! Thank you Aaron! Once again!

    Kyle at the Meridian Company provided excellent service with a friendly and professional attitude. He replaced a water pump/valve thing and took the time to ensure everything was working perfectly, all while maintaining a pleasant and approachable attitude. His dedication to his work and customer satisfaction was truly impressive.UPDATE: Ive had several inspections from the Meridian Company and all have been extremely helpful. All the techs that have come out have been helpful and informative. The most impressive and appreciated aspect is their willingness to teach me how to properly maintain my home and give me pointers, tips and tricks of the trade that I was completely uninformed about. Special shout out to Braiden Goldner who came out and not only helped me with issues with my thermostat, fan and furnace but also rescued a bunch of frogs my window wells. All the techs are great and very appreciated.

    NOVEMBER 2024When we decided to remodel the kitchen in our 60-year old home, we did not hesitate to contact Meridian Plumbing. Paige and Christine helped us, time after time, set up a variety of appointments with the plumbing crew (led by master plumber and ace customer service professional Aaron) and the electrical crew (led by Electrical Engineering graduate Tyler, who also excels at customer service).Throughout the month of October and into early November, Meridian Plumbing came out to put in place small project segments that could sync with re-tiling our floor and re-painting our walls. With help from Joe and Chloe, Aaron installed new pipework bringing water up from the basement so that we could install a laundry station at the far end of our kitchen. They also installed a new and more energy-efficient toilet in the small hallway adjacent to our kitchen. After moving our stove and our dishwasher out of the way to permit new tiles to be laid, Aaron was the one who reattached our gas stove in a safe and compliant way and then went on to re-install our dishwasher--correcting fairly major issues which had been incorrectly set up when we first purchased the unit.The electricity outlet was brought back up to code and made ready for the washer-dryer hook-up by Tyler; the new lighting in two different areas was done by Ryan and Cierra, who also followed Tylers instructions in repairing a section of original wiring that had begun to fray.Professional. Polite. In all of our dealings with Meridian Plumbing, we have found their people to be these two things, always. With a large project now reaching its conclusion, it is an enormous relief knowing that the work has been the right way.This review is our way to say THANK YOU!FROM 2023:With help from Christine when we walked into the main office recently, we got to speak face-to-face with Chris the Service Manager at The Meridian Company. He quickly understood that we could go in any of three directions to select a replacement for our 23-year-old water heater--installed by Meridian. At his suggestion, we agreed to have a veteran technician come out to our house to help us make a final choice.Aaron, with nearly thirty years of service at Meridian, arrived exactly on time with his apprentice Ethan and quickly assessed what could be done and at what cost. He spoke knowledgeably and politely to both of us and answered every question we had.Once Aaron laid out what our preferences were going to amount to if we purchased a new Navien tankless unit and had it installed, he rolled into action. A new NPE series Navien model was delivered from The Meridian Companys stockroom. An electrician, Jack, from The Meridian Company made sure the electrical work was done properly, and later another electrician, Tanner, double-checked to see that the unit would be powered properly and safely.A few showers and a few dishwasher loads into our new relationship with a tankless, energy-efficient water heater, how happy are we? Beaming-ear-to-ear happy! The water heats up quickly throughout our house. The water temperature is exactly what we had hoped it would be and maintains a consistent heat. The Navien unit itself takes up so much less space in our basement and the new copper pipes gleam. Our old 50-gallon water heater was removed, and the area was left spotless by Aaron and Ethan.So simple to use and so much more in line with our need for energy efficiency, this particular upgrade was only possible with the no-pressure help we received from the team at The Meridian Company. We are, in the spring of 2023, very happy customers.

    Aaron from The Meridian Company came to our house to replace our sump pump that stopped working during a few days-long rainstorm. Of the three companies I called, they were the quickest to respond and send someone out here.     I hired The Meridian Company to inspect a damaged powerline from a tree that had fallen on my house. I called in the afternoon and they came out the next morning. The repairs, which included mast repair, rewiring, a new panel and service upgrade was performed the next day. The work was top notch. Not a mess of wires, but a work of art inside the new panel with all of the wires neatly bent and shaped into clean lines and right angles.Not only was the work performed well, the workers, both men and women were clean, polite, quick, and at the end of repair they prepared the invoice and accepted payment electronically. The receipt was in my inbox in moments. I have absolutely nothing negative to say about The Meridian Company from the office staff that answered the phone and scheduled the repairs to the crew that did the job. Also, I liked the heads up phone call from the office that the crew was on the way. Its these little details and assured me that The Meridian Company was a professional, well managed business. I would not hesitate to use them again and plan to do so this summer for a new AC system.

    Our hot water tank failed early this morning after an incredible 35 years of service. I reached out to The Meridian Company and Aaron happened to have availability this morning. He arrived, was friendly, very experienced and knowledgeable and got to work. Since the previous water heater had been in service for so long there was some extra work and there needed to be some modifications and adjustments for placement of the new tank.     Having a home that is over 20 years old, my husband and I feared the worst when the whole west side of our house would not allow anything to be plugged in the kitchen without popping a fuse.     I had multiple contractors giving estimates on my two bathrooms and Meridian Company came in a little higher than I initially looked at spending, but WOW! Everything used is grade A and looks beautiful. That’s not reason for the review though. Without naming names, my sales person was awesome and made it easy, the coordinator was nothing short of on everything, and the workers, Especially the main one was awesome! Yes the work was great, but the care they put into my home, family, and pets was the best. Very kind, always cleaning up, and never tracking things around. Even sub-contractors were amazing! Painters would play with my puppy outside at break, and even the glass installer went the extra 1,000 miles. He cleaned up my puppies mess on the carpet for me, which she never does…. Who does that!?!?! Meridian Company!

    I was not able to be present at the house when Kyle did the install but my 85-year-old mother was present. She told me Kyle was pleasant, professional, and efficient. And thats good enough for me, cause when momma aint happy, aint nobody happy. I liked that there wasnt any messing around with multiple visits, or ordering anything. No hassles. In and out and done. Kyle called me when he was on his way to the house, called me with his assessment/proposal, and called me when he was finished. That is exactly what i needed. Well done Kyle!

    As always, Aaron saved the day! I purchased new kitchen appliances and when they delivered them a couple days ago they did not install them as scheduled.     Aaron , a courteous and professional Master Plumber replaced a toilet component and also pointed out the shutoff valve and the water shutoff in the basement needed to be replaced/repaired.     Our experience was excellent. They did electrical work for us to add an inlet for a backup battery system. They listened to our desires and installed a system that matched exactly what we wanted.     I had all the plugs and switches changed on my first floor from the old yellow ones to the new white ones and a new chandelier hung in the DR. Seven dimmer switches and a few GFCIs were also installed during this process. First, I submitted an online inquiry and had an appointment scheduled the next business day with Paige. My appointment was only a few days later to obtain a quote. After the quote, the actual service was scheduled less than a week later. (Now a days just to get a call back seems impossible so I was excited with how quickly all this happened.) The actual service was flawless, communication was professional, they showed up on time, and cleaned up thoroughly after all of the work was completed. They also moved furniture items, when needed, carefully and respectfully. The replacement plugs / switches and chandelier installation included all the necessary parts, making the process even easier. Ryan and Sierra were Rock Stars! Yes, they may be slightly more expensive than their competitors, but their level of performance is without a doubt worth every cent!To start this review, it is important to understand that I recently spent a couple of years working as the General Manager for a phenomenal plumbing company in North Carolina. Our company worked day and night to be the best in our community. With that said, Im glad I did not have to compete against The Meridian Company, because they would have taken our title as the best. So it is important to know as you read this, I have seen good plumbing and I know what cutting corners is.Aaron and Kyle (the two techs) were extremely competent, and clearly have genuine ethics, morals, and values, which was comforting because of course I want the job done right without having to look over their shoulder the entire time. Well I promise you this, they took every step to protect my home and to give me the best installation service that they could. For example, even though it was more work for them, they would not park on my grass, as they didnt want to leave tire marks due to all of the heavy rain we recently had. They put down floor protectors to protect my carpet without me having to ask. And that is not all, they did so many small things that I know they could have skipped if they were guys that cut corners, but they didnt.I am telling you, these were the best service technicians that I have ever seen in my life. There is no way anyone else will work on anything plumbing related in my house except these guys.

    The Meridian Company repaired our water heater and installed a new water purification and softener system and water tank for our well water.They were able to take care of the heater problem in a very timely manner so we didnt have to go without hot water. We also didnt have to wait very long for the other installations to be completed. The service reps who performed the work were very friendly, pleasant, and professional. They answered all our questions thoroughly and left us with confidence that any future problems will be handled the same way. We will definitely use their services in the future!

    The entire experience with Meridian was great. We just bought our first house with natural gas, so we are still learning. We called Meridian because of a small gas leak near our water heater.     Great experience with Meridian Company. I highly recommend them. From the initial call - really kind office staff. Aaron Van Halst was my installer. Aaron was completely professional, kind and incredibly knowledgeable for my water heater situation. Meridian Co. knew he was at my home for a bad water heater, they put a truck in my area to deliver a heater in case it was needed - proactive!! Aaron gave me several options to repair what I had. I chose to have him replace the unit.The entire process took about 2 hours. That included replacing a shut-off on my water main that Aaron discovered was deteriorating. That in itself, probably saved a huge unwanted situation from happening in the future. The gal that delivered the water heater was super helpful, kind and knowledgeable as well (so sorry I cant recall her name!). She offered some guidance for my sump pump. Ill reach out to them for that in the future. I was SO happy to take that warm shower about 2 hours after they left!Ive had nothing but good experiences with Meridian Company in the past and plan to keep using them. I purchased their service plan, so Ill have my furnace and air conditioner serviced by them too! This is an honest, reliable company that you can feel safe knowing theyll be around for a long time to come.

    First, I want to mention that this service was to replace my broken hot water heater from propane to electric including wiring upgrade from the breaker box to the new electric water heater.I want to say, from the first phone call to Meridian, to the knock on my door within about an hour, stands Aaron introducing himself and his crew.The very first thing I said, I wasnt worried about protective covering for there boots, and Aarons reply was, to late.Knowing I was without hot water for four days, Aaron not only had a new water heater on the way, but he also found a way to jockey his electrician team, (who were booked solid for a week), had Jack and Tyler knocking on my door within the hour to get the wiring done tute sweet!     I recently had Ryan and Tanner upgrade the lights in my basement to LED. When I initially called them to diagnose the issue with the lights in my basement, they quickly and correctly identified the issue and got me on the schedule the next week to resolve it.     We had major plumbing/sewer issues from when our home was built improperly in 1996, (in addition to a municipal sewer back flow into our finished lower level). It was all very distressing and difficult to determine the best course of action to correct the problem (the sewer line leaving our home was going uphill 9-12 inches). Kyle arrived, a licensed plumber, with 18 years of experience and a clear plan to fix the problem. He swooped in and took care of EVERYTHING, while also being kind and courteous! The price quoted was less than others and everything was done with great care and attention to detail. I highly recommend them. Kyle was fantastic to work with (even handling my tears well)!

    TLDR: The people who did the work and the actual work were excellent. But we were misquoted us by more than twice of the total cost.----------------------Needed bathroom fans replaced and vents/exhaust installed in the attic. The plumber that did the initial visit was terrific. The guys that came out to do the actual work were fantastic too, and the quality of the work appears to be great.However, there were major problems with the quote we received.First, they misquoted us by a significant amount. The estimate states that the quoted cost is for Install 2 bath fans: Install two bath fans with vents and terminations. They also confirmed via email that the quote includes the cost of two new fans.When they came out to do the work, they told me, nope, the quote is only for installing the vents/terminations -- new fans are not included nor is installation of the fans included. They said it would cost more than twice (!) the quoted amount if we wanted new fans installed.They did apologize for the miscommunication, and I am not asking for them to lower their prices for us. They are welcome to charge whatever they want to charge. However, it is not an unreasonable request to want to receive an accurate quote so that we can make an educated decision with who to go with.The other problem with the quote was that the quote did not make it clear that the quoted cost was calculated after they already factored in the trip charge (the one we paid for the plumber visit). I was expecting the quoted cost to be excluding the trip charge and then the trip charge would further reduce the stated cost... because the quote said $$$ is the total cost for this project. When it came time to pay, it turned out the quote they provided us was calculated after they already factored in the trip charge that we already paid. In other words, based on what the quote said, we expected to pay $$$ minus the $75 trip charge that we already paid. But the total cost was actually $$$ plus the $75 trip charge that we already paid.

    I had a great experience. Kyle and Annie were very professional and friendly. They installed a tankless water heater for me, got a pump installed on the drain of my laundry sink so it could drain to the sewer, and replaced my sump pump. It was a full days work but they did a great job and I will definitely recommend them.
