    I couldn’t be happier with the service I received from Cody at Extreme Heating and Air. He arrived promptly this morning and, from the start, went out of his way to listen carefully to what I had been dealing with. Unlike other companies that rush to diagnose without listening, they took the time to understand that my heater hadn’t been working all night and made it a priority to resolve the issue.His efficiency was impressive—he sorted everything out very quickly and even cleaned up some additional maintenance items along the way. On top of their exceptional service, they offered me a military discount at the end, which was a thoughtful and much-appreciated gesture.This level of care, professionalism, and attention to detail is rare. I’ll absolutely be using them again for all my heating needs. Highly recommend!

    Finding a wood burning insert installer in Anchorage proved difficult. I had unreliable and no response from several local companies and Jake at on point even no showed, no called after agreeing to install my insert.I contacted Extreme heating and from the start was extremely pleased with their communication, reliability, and patience with my questions.Derek came to my house yesterday and did an amazing job installing my wood burning fireplace, I couldnt be happier! He was considerate, thorough and did such an amazing job on the install. Not to mention the price of the install was very resonable. Ill be using these guys again. He needs to get a raise, thanks again!* Dont know if I could make another review, but just had another appointment with them 6 months later to check my boiler and once again excellent.Cody was extremely helpful and patient. He answered all my questions and addressed any concerns I had, along with thoroughly cleaning and inspecting my boiler.     Thomas, Chad, and Joe have excellent customer service! I had an odd living situation when they first came to install my new filtration systems, and they kindly worked around the previous tenants schedule. Theyve also been incredibly responsive when Ive had other issues! I was so impressed with their plumbing work, that when my old garage heater stopped working, I called them for a replacement and they were able to fit me in the following week. Im appreciative of both their actual physical work, and the kindness with which they operate. Would highly recommend!

    ExcellentMatthew was our service technician. He was friendly, professional and knowledgeable. It was also very reasonably priced!! He was here for boiler maintenance; cleaned, inspected, and given a clean bill of health. We are owner builders and had a different heating company up last year and asked them to install thermostats on the upper two floors since the entire home has been operating on one. The OTHER company told us that it was tricky and would get back with us. They never did! Matthew installed them in no time! Extreme Heating and Air will be our GO TO company for all heating and plumbing needs. THANK You!

    I wasnt getting heat in my upstairs baseboard heating. They were able to squeeze me in between appointments the next day. Robby came out, quickly identified that the lines were air locked, and made sure all zones were operating correctly after flushing the lines. He was knowledgeable and helpful in explaining what he was doing and showed me how I can make sure my system keeps working well. Great customer service!

Joe is a polite professional that saved me money by reducing time for diagnosing the problem by immediately contacting the boiler manufacturer tech support dept.     1/22/2024Matt from Extreme Heating & Air, worked on my water heater today. Matt did a great job! Replaced (3) main components and resolved the heating issue! Matt was friendly and professional and very knowledgeable. Matt fixed the problem very quickly! I called Extreme Heating & Air and their dispatcher logged the call and a technician responded within 5-10 minutes, reviewed the problem with me while using FaceTime in order to capture the Model & Serial Number and observe the actual heating issue, after providing clear instructions how to reignite the pilot. The technician explained the problem, parts required and scheduled the repair. I received text updates with the date, and approximate time for the repair job. Thank you for the great service! I now have plenty of hot water! I definitely recommend Extreme Heating & Air! For all your appliance Installations & Repairs, they have you covered!8/4/2023Cody Waite from Extreme Heating & Air, fixed a gasket leak on a recent new sink & faucet install. Cody worked fast!     Extreme Heating and Air is fantastic. These guys are prompt and professional, and take pride in ensuring their work is top notch. As a wife and Mom of two littles- I have had ALOT of questions, as plumbing is a different language to me. They have allowed me to ask the silliest questions, and even record them explaining something so that I could learn, and communicate better with my husband. The owner care deeply about quality of service AND they offer a military discount- which comes in handy when were talking about big dollars. I ended up going with them for a $15K project, over another company, because of their excellent customer service. I had 2 questions following their installation of a new boiler and water tank- and a team was sent out within the day to address my questions and explain the solution. Im pretty tough to impress when it comes to quality and professionalism- I Highly recommend. We will be using these guys from now on.

    Boiler stopped working. No heat or hot water. Zero degrees outside. Joe came over and fixed multiple leaks, including a broken seal in a hard to reach place. He replaced a pump and had the boiler working again in a couple of hours. He insisted on restoring our heat and hot water that evening and he went the extra mile to do so. Excellent service earned a loyal customer. Will call Extreme Heating & Air in the future. Thank you Joe.

    So I am updating my review and I hope you read it if youre looking for a Plumbing, Heating, HVAC business in Alaska.I have been using Extreme for all my projects for 5 years. They have come out and responded to 5 water leaks and most recently, a complete overhaul and replacement of my boiler system to forced air.During this remodel project, Shane, Nick, Aaron, and Cole were instrumental in producing a high quality product, given extreme (pun intended) circumstances and adversity.I will NEVER call anyone else to work on my house, ever. I highly suggest you call these guys and experience what real workmanship, professionalism, and care looks like.I have never been treated with anything less than the highest level of respect, dignity, and decency from this business.If only Google had 10 stars to give..........2023 Update: Brian came over here today to swap out a shower spout, valve assembly and shower neck inside the wall.     Cody was the technician that came out today. I had routine servicing done on the furnace / exhaust roof vent and water heater.     Extreme came to my property yesterday and did a fantastic job. The guy who did my the job up in my attic was soooo nice and told me everything in advance what he was going to do .     Ive used Extreme Heating and Air for a few jobs around my home and theyve been fantastic to work with. The first job, was removing and installing a new bath and shower along with replacement of the shower mixing valve. I ran into some problems throughout the job, and they were flexible and cooperative beyond belief, despite their very busy schedules. After the install, I found a couple cracks on the shower surround. They were eager to amend the issue and got me back on their schedule to ensure the job was done to my satisfaction. Ive worked with them again since, and my tenant said that they were very respectful, punctual, and had the problem fixed in under an hour. Ill happily continue to use Extreme Heating and Air for future repairs and renovations.

    January and February this past year broke all sorts of low temperature records. Of course our furnace decided that it was working too hard and stopped functioning intermittently and then altogether. Over the course of ten days the folks from Extreme answered our late night calls, our weekend calls and early morning calls. They were great about trying all sorts of fixes first to save us the cost of big ticket repairs. They spent time explaining everything and anything we may have ever wanted to know. This while they were dealing with perhaps the biggest mass furnace outage in the area for years (between heavy snow load and below zero temps, pretty much every furnace and garage heater up here is forced to work harder). Every single one of their techs was putting in overtime hours for those few weeks, not one complained or had a bad attitude. The office staff, who managed the schedules, they were about as kind and accommodating as imaginable…and I’m sure they were under a lot of stress.My expectation is that there are a lot of quality outfits that can help out in a pinch, but Extreme did an excellent job for us. Hope not to need them out again anytime soon, but won’t hesitate to call if I do.

    We have used Extreme several times before and recently used them again for issues with our water heater. They were booked up but said they would get out as soon as possible to look at it.     Replace aging copper pipe with PEX. Arrived on time and did a great job replacing the old copper pipe. I have worked with Extreme Heat in the past, having my boiler serviced. and their parts counter. I have found the staff to be knowledgeable and helpful.

    I had my garage unit heater serviced due to the pilot light not lighting/keeping lit. Extreme heating came out, were on-time, and did a thorough job of fixing the issue. My technician was thorough, honest, and took his time to ensure the problem was fixed (by cycling the heater) before he left. He also noticed that the air filters on my furnace were in dire need of replacement and replaced them free of charge. This company is very honest in their pricing, their service and ethics. I was very impressed with everything and will be calling them again.

    These guys are so awesome I would never call anybody else! Had heating issues during a very bad cold spell and they immediately came out and fixed my problem.     HRV Install - No BS, Good WorkI had an HRV installed to bring fresh air into the house without wasting the heat from the house.This company is very good. Their install process was efficient and they dont waste resources. I was very impressed at how they use employees with differing skill sets, and have them show up just in time to take the project to the next phase.I recommend Shane and Extreme Heating. Their work was professional and they delivered what I was expecting. I dont give everyone a high review, so when I say that I recommend this company, I do so without reservations.
