    I called to schedule an appointment and I received an appointment the very same day. My technician Rob arrived in a few hours and went right to work! Rob kept us abreast of what was going on with the furnace and what repairs needed to be made. Rob was kind, caring and got the furnace working! We really appreciate all that he did!!!

    The technician thoroughly explained what component failed, the reason it failed and how to both replace the component and correct what caused the premature failure. He offered several price options and did not pressure or try to upsell his service. This property is a rental home and the HVAC unit was NOT installed by this company originally.     A wonderful family owned company, truly a diamond in the rough! My A.C. unfortunately failed me and my daughter during one of the hottest days last week and Crystal had someone come out to me the same day ! I couldnt believe it. The technician whom came out was professional and not pushy at all. He even wore shoe covers! Never have I experienced a company with such attention to detail. The technician was very respectful and answered the plethora of questions I had with such patience. I was shown a few options for repairs, and ultimately was able to settle with something in my price range. Bonus, he was able to do the repair the same day!     Needed an emergency fix for our sink, went through Angies list (shows this company is most recommended) and Reliability was very quick to call and offer their services and availability same day.We had Robert McGee come to our home and he was very nice and professional! Looked like he knew what he was doing and transparent. He did a great job fixing our sink! Thank you for your quick response and reliable services! A++!Edit: We had a problem with the sink fix, and they scheduled to send Robert back right away (we had a 6-month warranty with the service package we purchased). Then come to find out a day later, there was another problem for the 3rd time (which is no fault of theirs - things happen), and they sent out Kevin Hyde. Kevin was also extremely friendly and professional! Also, had spoken to Amy a few times to schedule our appointments, and she is also very friendly over the phone. Some good people your company has, keep up the good work :)

    Great experience from start to finish. Erik did an amazing job finding us the part we needed after a free consultation visit. The part arrived on time and Reliability kept us posted on the status of the visit. Zach and Robert did a great, efficient job on the install and everything’s running smoothly. The 6 month labor warranty included in our fair price gives us peace of mind with winter coming. They are clean, friendly and flexible with visit times. I would recommend them to anyone looking for HVAC repair/install.

    The job was to repair or replace a tub/shower faucet that was not installed properly by a handy man. The faucet did not allow for enough hot water to flow to take a warm shower, and the water pressure coming from the shower head was very poor. I had a different plumbing company come to fix this in the past, and they were unable to do it. The office staff returned my initial request for service immediately. The person on the phone was also polite, listened carefully, and was very informative. Matt, the technician, arrived on time, and immediately put on shoe covers to protect my flooring before entering the house. He was friendly, listened carefully to my description of the problem, and got to work immediately. He was able to repair both issues in a timely manner and had me inspect and approve his work before he left. He was friendly, respectful, efficient, and knowledgeable. I am very happy with all aspects of this transaction. I will definitely use this company in the future.

    Reliability Home is just awesome. They worked with me as far as getting a loan to actually get my system installed and the techs that come to do your tune-ups are just amazing. Nice guys, very professional and efficient. Kevin was my first tech back in July when I had a bad thermostat - he worked with the office to get a manager to see me and install a new one. David was my tech today and he was so nice and so professional and just efficient. Went over everything with me and scheduled my spring appointment before he left. 😀

    We’ve been using this company since 2014. They originally didn’t have openings when our AC broke but once the owner heard my son had Asthma problems he personally came out and fixed my AC and the rest of history. Since then I trust Reliability Home with all of our HVAC needs. We trust the techs and their opinions so much bc they are so knowledgeable and they truly care about you. I always ask for their honest and professional opinion and they have never steered us wrong. We’ve had 2 houses since we originally started with them and each time we’ve called them and they’ve fit us in either same day, next day or later in the week. This place feels like family bc they are family and you can tell when employees are treated right and the techs love what they do. If you don’t choose this company you’re making a huge mistake. Go with Reliability bc they are reliable.

    Just can’t say enough. What a great experience it was to deal with Rob and all those I spoke with. His job ethics, courtesy, and skill are exceptional. He tried so hard to get the job done before leaving even though it was late at night (and we all thought it was resolved) however when I went back to my basement the next day it was backed up again(but not to his fault). When I called my call was answered promptly and he was back early that morning after being at my house until after 9pm the night before. When the job required another company to help he made sure to educate and inform me of all that would be needed. The other company pipes R (sorry I can’t remember the name) came promptly the next morning along with Rob and spent a good part of the day to work to resolve our issue. They did find out that our issue is at the street level so I do still need to wait for the city but both gentlemen made sure I knew what to let the city know was wrong with our pipes and explained everything very thoroughly. So from the the first day when I called we saw 3 different gentlemen Rob, Will(I am pretty sure that was his name-also from reliability) and Jim from the other company. All 3 men were just absolutely great.It has been several years since I have had to pay for a plumber and all those were minor issues(which we thought was the case this time-just a clogged pipe- it unfortunately we weren’t so lucky) so as far as the going rate of prices I can’t say I really know what others charge however, their prices seem very reasonable to me. I will definitely use them again if needed in the future.

    Amazing company. The customer service is some of the best I have experienced with any company anywhere. The receptionist Crystal was amazing, smart, patient and kind. She handled my setup quickly and easily. An appointment was scheduled for a couple days later (BTW this was during the series of 115 degree heat index days in July!!).     Excellent work! Listened to our needs and very responsive to what repairs really needed to be done!! They cleared and re-leveled some of the drain pipes to get water running smoothly again, installed new clean outs, and jetted the pipes. They also replaced our water heater which was leaking from the bottom and ready to cut loose a torrent of water. I would highly recommend Reliability Home Services and their technicians Rob, Bobby, Mike - all courteous, answered all our questions and did a great job cleaning up before they left. We found them through Angi and are glad we did!

    Going with Reliability has been one of the best decisions weve made since becoming homeowners since we first needed them on a Sunday because our AC stopped working. All the technicians weve dealt with since have been knowledgeable, friendly, and considerate. Theyre incredibly thorough, explain everything clearly in detail, and always leave the place exactly as they found it, if not cleaner. All have been great with our animals as well. They are extremely accommodating to our schedule, will come out the same day if needed. They always call to let you know that the technician is on the way and usually arrive near the beginning of the scheduled time window. Companies as dependable and courteous as Reliability are in short supply these days.

    David was very professional and while he was here to conduct routine maintenance on our heating system I explained that one of our radiators did not function at all last winter. He made some adjustments but recommended a visit from the service tech and scheduled one to come out same day. After he left however I kept the system on and noticed that not only did all of our radiators come on upstairs but the one that had not worked for more than a year was now functioning! Whatever he did… fixed the problem! Great job!

    Reliability Home Services is the only company I use to service my HVAC needs. I discovered my A/C unit was leaking and called them to come out to look at what was causing the problem. A technician was out within a few hours. Chris explained in detail what issue was, even showing me pictures and laid out all my options for the fix. He was able to start work immediately to resolve the issue. The service required him to come back the next day to finish to which he was fast and friendly.Unfortunately, after all the work, I noticed a little drip from the unit and had to call back but was able to get another to come out and take care of it. Matt was equally as friendly and it turned out to be a quick fix. I appreciate them completing the jobs so quickly. I will continue to use and recommend RHS for HVAC needs!

    Reliability Home Services has always been great with us whether it was a heating or AC problem or talking to a contractor for us when it came to chimney issues that were affecting our heating system. They are wonderful during emergencies, especially on the weekend. My husband and I have never had an issue with any of the techs or staff, they will answer all of your questions or concerns.     Furnace stopped working on a Saturday in January. Reliability was able to get a service tech to my house Saturday afternoon. We decided to replace the 22 year old furnace with a more efficient model rather than continue repairing the old one. The new one was installed on Monday and is working great! Kevin our repair tech was wonderful and Joseph and Erik were clean and thorough in the install. They walked me through what they did and assisted in setting up the Nexia programmable thermostat. Recommended!

    They did have to reschedule my original appointment due to an emergency. They showed up in a timely manner for the rescheduled appointment. The plumber was friendly, courteous, and knowledgeable. He fixed the problem and left the area cleaner than when he started. Overall a satisfactory experience. I would use them again.

    Overall RHS was excellent to work with - they were able to come out to assess our heating issues in a timely fashion and provided multiple options for the work we could have done. They were transparent in explaining what needed to be done and their prices were more competitive than another estimate I got. The only issue I had was that they did not have a part they needed, which delayed our repair by a few days. Eric and Jordan came to do the actual repairs to our heating system and they were both courteous, knowledgeable, completed the repairs in the expected timeframe, and generally did an excellent job.

    We have been members with Reliability for a few years, and on top of their built-in service for our HVAC system, they always come through when something goes wrong. This week we had an issue with the diverter in our tub/shower. I scheduled an appointment online and a service tech came out the next morning to fix the problem. Will, our regular plumbing technician, is always courteous and professional. Wed never go to anyone else.

    William arrived right on time and was very professional and efficient in replacing our shower faucet. This experience was night and day compared to another company I called the day before. Their plumber was not only rude but said that the new shower faucet I bought wouldn’t work. From the get go he seemed clearly not interested in fixing it. On the other hand, William took the time to show me how he would fix it and never had a hesitation that the new faucet handle I purchased would work. He finished the job within an hour and the price he quoted seemed very reasonable. It is actually working better than before in that when you shut the water off now, it doesn’t run for several minutes afterwards. They were able to replace my water heater the same day, so I wasnt without water. My non-emergency air conditioner maintenance was completed the day after the service call. These folks know service & professionalism and make the whole process very easy.

    These guys really helped me out when I was in a bind. Got my oil to gas conversion done as quickly as they could. Managed to keep me warm on some of the coldest days this year with the update. Just had a time up done today. Again, different tech, professional and friendly. We had a nice conversation after the work was done. Cost wise they are reasonable, and will work with you to keep cost down.

    Theyre very professional and responsive. They give you a heads up w/ appointments- texts, calls, and emails so you cant miss them! I also like the different options for the service contract like the $27/mo plan and being able to call whenever esp. since my system is old. The repairs are not necessarily cheap and the discounts are questionable even for their band aid options- I feel like I may have overpaid w/ those but if they keep my system running a couple of years more, theyre worth it!

    Ive used Reliability Home services twice. Once while selling my home as a home inspector didnt understand how my Nest thermostat worked and couldnt turn the A/C on therefore it must be bad and on my new home for a water leak in my A/C unit. Chris came out both time. He was extremely professional and friendly. Showed me what was wrong and what he was going to do to fix it. I have been very pleased with their service to date.

    Reliability Home was one of three HVAC firms wed contacted in order to obtain a diagnosis and estimate of repairs for our hot water (radiator) home heating system, after our usual maintenance provider could not diagnose the furnace problem, and gave an outrageous estimate for repairs to issues that he could diagnose. We decided that it was time to find a new HVAC service company and after receiving three separate opinions and estimates for service from providers, we chose Reliability Home Services.The Reliability technician who first looked at our furnace was professional, took the time to listen to my description of the problem, gave the system a thorough inspection in order to determine the root cause of the issue (something none of the other service providers were able to do), clearly explained the work that was needed , the time to repair, and the cost of repairs. We scheduled an appointment and the service technicians arrived as scheduled. After working with different companies who routinely arrived hours later than promised, it was refreshing to see the Reliability Home truck arrive within a few minutes of the promised start time.I could not be more pleased with the work that Reliability performed! The service technicians were polite, thorough, took the time to ensure that they kept our home clean, explained the work that was done and made certain that any questions I had were answered. They were even able to address some items that none of our previous service providers were able to fix!After disappointing results from both of the nationwide HVAC service providers wed used in the past, we decided that this time we would use a local provider, and Im glad that we did.     Our Air Conditioner stopped working and was leaking from under the unit. I called yesterday and the receptionist was very helpful and friendly. They came out the same day to take a look. He was thorough and took his time looking at everything including hooking up a monitor to see if he could figure out what the problem was. He discovered that there was a leak in the system but they would have to have another person come out the next day with the equipment to find the leak. They came out today and the repair was fixed efficiently and the serviceman was wonderful. I was very happy with the service and the price. I couldnt recommend them more!

    This company is very reliable as they have in their title. My heating system was malfunctioning which is never good during the coldest times of our winter here in Anne Arundel county, Maryland. The folks at Reliability Home Services were are very professional, courteous, responsive, and take pride in the results of their work. The challenges with my HVAC were complicated as I had not done any maintenance on it for 5 years. HVAC technician, Mr. Robert McGee, would not give up until he identified the hidden problem that had my HVAC malfunctioning. It was Friday, late afternoon when Robert kept trying to figure out the cause of my systems malfunctioning. I told him not to worry about it any longer and I would provide feedback on my HVACs performance after the weekend. But Robert would not give up and eventually identified and repaired the problem. These folks take before and after digital pictures to show exactly what they worked on with my system. Trist me, you wont be disappointed with these folks. They will get the job done!

    Easy to Schedule a serviceman when I called. Christopher the technician showed up on time and was professional, knowledgeable and courteous.He diagnosed my problem, had to leave my home and go get the appropriate parts and returned timely and fixed it.He had to work in my attic, in what was probably close to 120 degrees or hotter, to fix my air handler which required a part as well as braising in with a torch the piping. Additionally, he had to work on a ladder outside of my home on the heat pump itself. Bottom line - He fixed it!Also Christopher was very conscious of working in my home and wore appropriate shoes and did not make any mess at all.I recommend Reliablity Home!

    I am the type of reviewer that rarely writes a review. In fact, I only do so if I am extremely unhappy or very pleased. I remain very pleased, not to mention impressed, with Reliability Home, LLCs work. A few years ago, they came to my rescue and were able to put in a new HVAC system when my furnace died the week of Christmas. This time, they exceeded my expectations by being able to rework their schedule to get a new hot water heater installed the same day they came out for a diagnostic consultation.     I called your company because of an elderly woman had no heat because her furnace was not working. Robert McGee, the technician came to diagnose the problem and discovered it needed a rather expensive repair that the senior could not afford.     Dumb me let my fuel oil tank run dry. On a snowy Saturday, no less. Oil wont be delivered until Monday but my son added diesel fuel to help me get by. But there was an air lock that wouldnt let the fuel pass through to the furnace. Since we have an annual contract with Reliability, I gave them a call. Reliability to the rescue! Their technician came in just a couple of hours to release the lock, then waited around to be sure the temperature would rise quickly. In a short bit the temperature climbed to a nice warm home.     I am a member of Reliability Home Services Comfort Club, and had my quarterly HVAC inspection. Good news ... everything checks out and Reliability has been servicing my home in Columbia since 2017. The one issue I have with Reliability is when requesting quotes on a new item ... e.g. a whole home humidification add-on.Reliability performs this service and equipment installation, but when asked for a quote, the company provides it on the most rudimentary level, using terms like Band Aid, Bronze, Silver, Gold, etc, each with ascending costs and meaningless language, like comfort care, and added service means nothing. At the same time, they dont offer a description of the equipment they will install (so the customer can see ratings) or technical details insofar as what each level includes. While some customers may just say okay, when shown some colors and non-descriptive language, this is a bit insulting to smart (or aspiring thereto) consumers.
