I purchased a condo recently and the inspection found a few electrical items that I wanted addressed in addition to a couple of 120 VAC outlets that I wanted put into a laundry closet to support the washer and a dryer booster fan (the previous owner was OK running an extension cord through the attic and a dryer fan cord connected too....absolutely nothing). I had called another local company prior and their tech was a no show....annoying since I had to take time off work to meet him. I called Ron, he showed up on-time for the quote. Scheduled the work for a few days later. He showed up on-time for that. He did exactly what we discussed. It took him less time than he estimated. He and his assistant cleaned up after themselves before leaving. The cost was exactly what he had quoted me. They were respectful of my property and the installation was clean and professional looking. All issues were addressed. Just a good, honest transaction. I would definitely use Ron again but honestly I think he fixed everything so I probably wont need him!!!! :-)

Ron is a great guy and has an incredible team! He is always my first call when I need electrical work or anything else done on my house, he and everyone he works with is professional and follows through.So far on different jobs (4 so far,) Ron and his team have replaced or rewired circuit breakers, replaced outdoor switches and lights, installed ceiling fans and installed overhead lighting. All prices have been more than fair, if not better than others, and were done quickly and cleanly.I could not recommend he and his crew more highly.

Ron did the electric work for my furnace install. Ronnie and his helper did an excellent job and arrived on time. He always comes right away for an estimate and bangs the job out as soon as possible. He also helped me out of a bad situation and put me in touch with his HVAC guy. Ronnies prices are always fair. I highly recommend McMahon Electric.

Excellent work and extremely responsive! Ron came to my place and provided an estimate and was able to complete the work the following week. From start to finish I had my new light, outlet and panel replaced in less time then it took get an appointment for an estimate with a larger business. Ron brought in 3 additional electricians to assist him with the upgrade and relocation of my panel (to bring it up to code) so it could be completed within a few hours. And he did so without any additional charge from the estimate. The aforementioned competitor showed up over a week later for the pre-scheduled estimate and that person disclosed that if they had completed the work, it would have cost several hundred dollars more. I read the other reviews and found that those speaking negatively were talking about work, other than electrical (dry wall repairs, etc). I had the exact same work done by Ron and his team - they swapped out a ceiling light in the dining area and I had him move it over by about a foot to spot that made more sense. The electrical work was perfect - thats what I hired him to do. He put in a patch in the old hole and I finished it up myself. I wont be using that bigger company to do the remainder of the work I need - Ill be asking Ron and his crew to come back. Its nice to have a good, reliable electrician when youve purchased an older place that needs a little TLC. Five stars all the way. Thanks Ron!

I’ve had good experiences in my interactions with Ron and his team. Very knowledgeable, personable, and easy to work with. Most recently Ron and his team installed a couple of GFCI outlets at my home, installed security cameras, and re-did some wiring. Ron’s prices are fair and he has always been very responsive. I would recommend Ron and his team for your electrical needs.

I contacted McMahon Electric for an estimate on replacing and updating my entire electrical service to code from the National Grid power attachment thru to replacing the old fuse panels with circuit breakers on my 3 family house. He told me one additional new electric meter and National Grid account was also required.His written estimate was reasonable and the job was scheduled for the next week.Ron showed up on the agreed day with his crew and removed all the old lines meter boxes and fuse panels. Now I have nice new input lines and meter boxes on the outside and new circuit breaker boxes on a plywood base inside. The entire job was completed in one day with minimal power outage to the 3 units. Later the code inspector approved the work and National Grid issued the new meter and replaced the old service line to the telephone poll on the street with a new service line. I am happy with the quality of work and would recommend McMahon Electric to others.

Very honest guy. I had tripped the circuit breaker in 2 rooms in the house and I tried to reset it but it didnt work. He came and somehow reset it for me. Yes, I was dumb which is why I said he was an honest guy. He came just to do a free estimate on a possible blown fuse on the circuit breaker, but with this simple task, he didnt charge me. Thank you. I will certainly call you when I need an electrician.
