    I called Bill Mullen Electric after a major outage at my home. I called at 830 am and they were able to schedule me in at 1 pm. Bill was able to assess the problem and fix it by 3 pm. He was knowledgeable, explained the problem and the process and had all the equipment and supplies on the van to fix the problem. The prices for repair are fair, I do not feel like I was overcharged. I am so glad that this company completed the job, as he prevented potential serious damage to my home. I will continue to use this company and refer to all my family and friends.

    I called today and was immediately able to talk to someone who was very polite and helpful. She said Bill would most likely be out the next day to look at my issue, but then called again shortly after saying he could come out today after a project he was working on. Bill was very easy to work with. He provided me the easier option to fix my issue, as well as some more options for my older electric panel if I wanted to make any other improvements. He was not pushy and did not try to steer me in a particular direction. He fixed my issue quickly and spent some time testing afterwards to make sure everything was good.This is one of the easiest companies I have dealt with and I would be happy to recommend Bill Mullen Electric to anyone.

    We highly recommend Bill Mullen Electric. We had issues with recessed lights and needed new fixtures installed. Bill was on time, extremely helpful and efficient. On his way out, I mentioned the motion censor outdoor fixture not working properly and that, because of the location, it was difficult for my husband or me to reach. Bill offered to fix it and even waited for me to run to the hardware store to purchase the proper bulbs. Then , he climbed the ladder and got it working for us. Bill could not have been more helpful or pleasant. We were so happy to have found Bill Mullen Electric.

    We had 2 great experiences working with Bill Mullen Electric. The first time they expanded the number of electrical outlets in our master bath. They were prompt and kept all of the work areas very clean. Everything they installed is working perfectly and and it has made a world of difference relative to the functionality of this bathroom. They were here a second time to replace several of the original ceiling fixtures that no longer worked or had become dated and needed to be upgraded. Again, they were prompt, kept their work areas clean and always explained what they were doing in great detail whenever we asked a question. I also noted that they appeared to be very up to date on many of the new cutting edge electrical technologies that I inquired about.

    Bill Mullen Electric is terrific and so professional and responsive! They did a complicated installation of a backup generator as well as a variety of smaller tasks. They did everything perfectly and were very nice, hard working and the price was great too.     Bill Mullen Electric installed a standby generator for us a few years ago and performed the maintenance and battery replacement just recently. Bill and his team were professional and provided excellent service. Our generator was giving Bill trouble starting up and he quickly identified the problem and returned with the necessary materials to fix our issue. We have full confidence in Bill Mullen Electric and would recommend them to anyone.

    Mr Mullen was extremely professional in all his work and was very receptive to our needs. Explained everything before hand and detailed all work that would be done. This is the second time we are using Mullen and must say we are more than satisfied with his services and would highly recommend. To be honest we are only in this area for not quite 6 years and have had to hire different types of contractors and Mullen is the only company that did what they said they would do and did it professionally and for a fair price. This is the only company I have written a review for since we moved here from NJ and believe me if you have a need for his services you will NOT be disappointed.

    I hired Bill Mullen Electric to replace rewire my home, replacing the original knob and tube wiring in my 140 year old home. The work was done thoroughly and professionally with little inconvenience. I was so happy with the work I asked them to come back and install a whole house natural gas powered GENERAC generator. This also went very smoothly. Later I noticed the generator was not cutting over and Bill Mullen came out personally on his vacation to fix the unit. It turned out to be a simple fuse that had been tripped in the unit that prevented the cut over when the power went out. He adjusted the weekly system test to a time of day that I would hear it to confirm it was operating properly.I would not hesitate to call Bill Mullen electric in the future if I had any need.

    It’s the same ole story, you need work done on your house and you want to find a reputable and honest contractor to do a quality job. Well, I found a great electrician who not only was reputable, honest and did quality work but really earned my trust. What’s more, I have not met anyone in person. It started with my purchase of a Tesla where I needed to have a charger installed so that I can charge my car faster. Tesla provides a list of qualified electrical vendors on their website and after reading other feedback from customers, I called. Donna answered the phone and I was already happy with my choice. She took the time to answer my questions and even walked me through Tesla’s selection requirements and standards they have to abide by. She was pleasant, knowledgeable and professional. When my charger got delayed she worked with me to find another day. Then Bill Mullen called me after I sent pictures of the job site and again, took the time to answer my questions and even suggested to address some flaws with the wiring in to my house. No, it was not an up sell as my dad who worked for PECO agreed with his assessment. The day arrives and I had to leave early for my job so I felt comfortable enough to have Bill do the job without me being present. Bill was the man and did a great job with the installation even down to moving my hose so everything would fit and look nice. Sorry for the long story but I am a believer in telling a complete story. I will use them again and also recommend him to my friends. Oh, maybe not important to most, but I came home to a clean job site. Thank you Bill Mullen Electric!!!

    Bill Mullen Electric was referred to us by a friend. They were great! It was a pleasure to have Matt and Mike for a number of hours in our place, as well as Bill Mullen, Sr. They corrected electrical elements that were previously done wrong. They performed harder projects in the best manner so as not to show holes where wire needed to be fished through. They were courteous, professional and knowledgeable.     We hired Bill Mullen Electric to remove the knob and tube from our historic home, as well as a few other jobs like adding outlets etc. They were one of the best contracting experiences I have ever had and can not recommend them enough. They were professional, courteous, responsive, timely and did great work with wonderful attention to detail. The K&T job was done with care and minimal creation of holes in the wall, and they patched also! Excellent work overall and highly recommend.

    Bill has done many projects for me (and done them well), most recently running the electric line for a pool heat pump. It was a difficult task with some bumps along the road, but once Bill started he made sure it was done correctly and prioritized getting back to finish the last steps in a timely manner.

    We needed to have our new AC system wired into the electrical panel. We called around but had no luck in finding anyone who could come out sooner than 6 weeks. After consulting Angies List we found Bill Mullen. One electrician came out the same day the AC installer was there, arrived on time, and quickly did the work. I didnt get a quote before they came out so I was a little surprised when he presented the bill, but I think it was a fair price for the fast response when all the other electricians I called wouldnt give me the time of day for such a small job. I would DEFINITELY call them again.

    The experience from beginning to end was very professional.     Bill Mullen rewired our old house that was built in the 1930s that was knob and tube back in September of 2016. Bill was professional, courteous and clean. Not only did they complete the task on time, they worked around the Thanksgiving Holiday and made sure our house had power for our out of town family guests. Bill provided an itemized breakdown per room of the house re-wire, which allowed us to see how our money was being spent. In addition to rewiring the house, Bill was able to add four pot/recessed lights in our living room and a ceiling fan. We were very happy with Bill Mullen and would highly recommend Bill and his employees to others.

    Talk about service! Had to reach out because had some major issues with 3 way switches at the house. Called and was treated like an old friend. Explained needed same day service and it was pretty important since no lights in main floor.Luckily for me, I got the best guy possible in Matt not even 30 mins later!     Bill Sr. did a great job wiring our bathroom remodel. He also rewired the outlet servicing the garbage disposer making the top plug hot and the bottom plug switched.     Needed my gas pipes grounded. I got a human when I called and was promptly scheduled. They came out and did the work perfectly. Plus they also bonded the heating ducts for no additional fee.     After a storm, I noticed that one of my circuits stopped working and was registering from my test tool as a Open Hot connection which can be dangerous. I also noticed that one of my circuits had a scorch mark above the unit at a different outlet. I called Bill Mullen after hours and was called back the next working day. They had mentioned that the owner was able to come out on a Saturday for me and perform an assessment. He was able to come early which was amazing for my day. He was very professional and looked at all my issues carefully and was able to provide information about my outlets that I was not aware of. After his assessment, he checked my electric panel and noticed that one of the breakers was just a smidge flipped which I had missed during my own snooping and this resolved the issue. I also mentioned my concerns that the outlets in the house were old and may need replacing down the line. He advised me that he would email me some quotes for a down-the-road service were they would be able to perform the work. He also suggested possible generator install service if we wanted that as well since our area is prone to immediate blackouts from storms. All-in-all, he was very attentive to what my concerns were for my house. His friendly demeanor and professionalism while in my house were top notch. I will definitely re-use this company as well as note this to friends and family in the area. Thank you all so very much for your service!

    We saw arcing and corrosion in our main service panel. Bill responded to my call quickly and came out the next morning on a weekend. He was very helpful, answered all our questions, and replaced the panel for a reasonable price. Great service. Thank you.

    I didnt have an electrician that I use, so I was at the mercy of Google. It didnt fail me. I contacted Bill Mullen Electric based on the reviews and I couldnt have been more pleased. Bill Mullen, himself, showed up at my home at the designated time. His assistant Matt was also with him. They were both very professional. They were here for about two hours and when they departed, the work area was clean, just like they found it. When you have workers come into your home, I think people want good work, and workers who seem to enjoy their work, not someone who would rather be somewhere else. That was evident with Bill and Matt. When I have future electrical needs, I will DEFINATELY call Bill Mullen Electric.

    Did an excellent job upgrading my breaker panel and installing my Tesla wall connector. What impressed me was the attention to detail and quality they put into labeling the breakers in a clean and organized way. Its why I will be using them again for future projects.

    Mullen Electric responded to my electrical issues at my home quicker then I could’ve asked for. Getting in touch with Bill early in the week had my project finished by weeks end. Luckily it worked out perfectly as I lost power in a snow storm the following week. I had Bill install a generator plug( also a new electric box)for my home and this really save me and my home during the storm. I can’t thank Bill enough and everything’s looks great.
