    I hired Mister Sparky through Thumbtack and the technician that arrived was amazing! They were quick and professional in the communication via email before the appointment. The technician (James) was more than helpful, and he knew what he was talking about. He went and got all the parts and did a great job installing them. He reviewed everything with me and helped me understand what was being done and what the charges were. I have already asked them to come and install three lighting fixtures. I am very happy with my experience with Mister Sparky.

    Great service. On time, cleaned up, installed a nice 240 outlet in the kitchen island and left enough slack for the stove top install. Was great that Samuel asked for the installation manual of the model I was looking at so he could make sure all of the specs were correct when we have the unit delivered.     Moving into a new home and had some electrical items from our inspection report we wanted checked out. Found Mister Sparky from online reviews and couldn’t have been happier with the service. They double checked some issues from the report and fixed the items in an extremely timely manner. They also checked a couple items that could have turned into long-term problems and provided assurance that everything was fine and showed me what to look out for if problems popped up. They even suggested some other contacts for topics from the report (overall just good people). I hope all my future contractors turn out like the team from Mister Sparky and highly recommend them to anyone in need of electrician support.

    The franchise owner, Clark, came to our home today to adjust the bath exhaust fan that was installed last week. It was vibrating. After that, he replaced the GFI outlet in the bathroom that kept tripping its breaker every time we used the exhaust fan. The price was very reasonable! Clark was great to work with, very nice. Everyone at Mr. Sparky has been terrific.

    Jacob was fantastic. He showed up early, which is always appreciated, and went right to work. He thoroughly explained the estimate and the estimate was exactly what I wanted, there was no attempt to upsell me on additional services. I will definitely go with Mister Sparky if I decide to do the work.

    Sam from Mr. Sparky is great. He cares about doing things properly and delivers. He helped installing lights fixtures (both outside and inside of the house), he set up the connection to have a light and a fan on the ceiling, he fixed my garage light, among other tasks. Sam is professional, knowledgeable, conscientious, and, offers alternative recommendations to solve issues. I will call them again.

    Sam, the tech, that came to my home was there earlier than appointed time, which worked for me. Dressed and acted very professional. We walked my home and I pointed out items I thought i was in need of some help. He was very patient and informative. Following, he went about his work and was done in no time.     Part 1: Adolfo provided excellent explanation of choices to make for level 2 charger, immediate quote and options, handles village permit too! Plus, when booking, Clark, the Owner, let me know about the ComEd rebate! Another company I called for a quote said I didnt need a permit, he was not timely in getting a quote to me, and was more expensive. We would not be eligible for the rebate without the permit. Clark saved me the cost of the charger and installation!Part 2: Adolfo and Sam just finished the installation. They were professional, wonderful to work with, and so clean and neat. We will only be using Mister Sparky for our electrical needs from now on!Part 3: Clark came to meet the Inspector of the Village so we could request the ComEd rebate. Of course the inspection was approved. Clark and his people, including Debbie, the Operations Manager are incredibly helpful and so pleasant to work with.I repeat, we will only be using Mister Sparky of West Chicagoland for all of our electrical needs. Do not hesitate to give them a call.Part 4: Jacob came today to replace the cover on a 35yr old outdoor outlet. I thought we might need to replace the outlet but it wasnt necessary.     Mister Sparky was very responsive to my initial email request.They were able to send an electrician out within a very reasonable amount of time and provided options to fit my schedule. Adolfo was the electrician and he was punctual, professional, courteous, knowledgeable and thorough. I appreciate the company prioritizing customer service over packing as many appointments in as possible as that allowed Adolfo adequate time to do the job right and without being rushed.     Adolfo R did a great job. He arrived 10 minutes prior to appt time and called to advised that he had arrived. He explained each step of the diagnostic inspection in detail before starting the job. He patiently answered every question asked of him regarding the job and would reference currrent electrical codes that would need to be met when repairing the service issue.Adolfo R surveyed the job, did an analysis, and discovered that the issue for the service call wasnt the problem. It was discovered that the circuit breaker at the fuse panel was exceeding 80 percent of the amperage allowed. This was a result of the previous electrician’s wiring to add an electrical junction box not meeting electrical homeowners residential building codes. Since this was not the reason for the original service call, Adolfo R, secured and anchored the electrical junction box, gave a service cost estimate for adding a new circuit breaker and running the proper cage wiring to the fuse panel to correct the incorrect wiring of the current junction box to bring it up to electrical code to reduce the over 80 percent amperage on the current circuit breaker. Adolfo R. called the home office to explain his findings of the root cause of the problem, and that it was not part of the original service visit, the home office for Mister Sparky, said that there wouldn’t be a charge for the service visit since this was not the reason for the service visit.After Adolfo R advised that there would be no charge for the service visit, he made sure that the job areas of analysis’s were cleaned, and everything was put back in place prior to his visit.I would recommend Adolfo R and Mister Sparky for any electrical service repairs. Mister Sparky and their service technicians are friendly, professional, customer focus.Thank you, Darrell Anthony Woods.

    Adolfo Ramos was AMAZING!!! Floor to ceiling shelving had to be moved to access an outlet. Adolfo was so patient and helped move it. I was thrilled the issue was a loose wire and we didnt have to rewire the house. He was here 8-1 and it was $324. I couldnt believe the price. Just so thrilled with the excellent service!!!! There just arent enough stars!

    I had what I thought was a faulty hard-wired smoke detector that kept going off. I called for service and was thrilled that they were able to see me the same day in spite of a full schedule. Tom got here and immediately figured out that it wasn’t the smoke detector, it was the alarm for the inactive ADT system. He removed it, along with my risk of a heart attack from the sheer volume of the alarm 🤪, and even took a quick look at my actual smoke alarms to make sure they were functioning properly. He explained everything clearly and concisely. He’ll be the guy I request if I ever need service from them again. I definitely recommend this company!
