Fantastic service! Our hot water heater broke the day before Christmas. They came out within an hour of my call and got us an estimate for a new heater the same day. Then they were back 2 working days later to install it. Our technician Ben was friendly, efficient and knowledgeable. Terrific first class company and technician. I called them after my former outfit announced to me he was getting out of the service business and could not help me when I called him as I suddenly had no heat or hot water. When I asked for a referral he said “East Coast HVAC”. He said “there are many outfits I can not recommend but East Coast I can” I am so glad he did. While they did not know me their tech arrived within 4 hours of my call, searched down parts and had my Rinnai boiler broadcasting “Good” before he left. Great experience. It is now my turn to recommend East Coast HVAC.

First-time user of East Coast HVAC and I’m blown away (not literally; that would be bad) I was able to make appointment quickly, received multiple confirmations plus a photo and cute bio of Dan who would be arriving at my home; a phone call to tell me he was on his way. All good, but let’s face it, the real test is the knowledge and expertise of the person who comes. Dan was thorough and efficient, checking everything and gave us a few suggestions for future maintenance. Since it’s a new furnace to us we had severalquestions, all of which he answered with lots of details to make sure we understood. He cleaned up when he was done and helped us pay the invoice online. Two very satisfied customers today!

I recently had East Coast HVAC install a heat pump at our Maine condo. The entire process was first class - from the initial contact and quotation to the final installation. Sheila in the front office was very responsive and very easy to work with. The installation crew of Matt, Tyler and Alex were very courteous and professional. The entire worksite, inside and out, were cleaned to my high expectations. I would recommend East Coast HVAC to any of my family and friends.

East cost provided a competitive quote for replacing my AC with a good warranty / service plan. They sent two young men to install the AC and it was completed in 1 day. I would definitely recommend them. Of course I received a discount for a winter install which means I cant use the system till spring. I know I tried other vendors who were not initiated to bid when I already had a decent quote from a smaller company. This one worked with me and met or exceeded the other offering plus I get better post install service/warranty.

Brodie and crew were top notch! Polite, careful and very competent. I certainly would recommend East Coast for HVAC an Electrical needs.In my mind I was wondering how the installation would go, given every bedroom, the living room and office would be involved, and so much work up in our low pitched roof attic. The project was executed with utmost regard for our comfort. Everything was explained in advance to make sure we were not inconvenienced. Each day, the crew picked up and vacuumed. put down tarps where needed and informed us what and where they would be working .5 stars for sure. Thank you East Coast!

It is very hard to find a company willing to do maintenance/repairs on heat pump systems they did not install but East Coast was able to help us. From the office lady who helped me get booked for a diagnostic visit to Ben who came to the house and carefully helped us get our heat pump head back on track -- this was great experience during a stressful time. The heat pump head had not been properly cleaned before we bought the house and now was losing its ability to push air thru the house. We will be booking regular maintenance going forward.

When a major rain storm hit our coastline, the water leakage into our cellar killed our furnace, leaving us without central heat, just when a frigid cold snap appeared. Our own energy company did not follow through on selling and installing a new furnace. We called East Coast and their sales associate came the very next day. He clearly gave us details of what we needed so that this problem would not occur again. The installation team came to install our system as quickly as they could, given the high demand for service after the storm’s damage. Tanner and Avery provided us their professional and personal expertise in installing our new furnace. They arrived right on time and were so personable we enjoyed having them work in our home. Their empathy towards the two of us, in our 70s, was welcome and appreciated and goes for Brian, the electrician too. At a time, when customer service often fails, East Coast delivered all that we needed, with no stress on our part. Congratulations to a fabulous work team and company!

East Coast was able to respond on the same day for an emergency call for a recently installed HVAV residential system leaking fluid. This new hvac system had been installed by a different company who had lost their qualified HVAC technician and could not investigate the issue or preform the repair. After contacting Madalyn at East Coast and explaining the situation Madalyn assured me she would have a tech respond ASAP due to potential spill issues in our basement. Within a hour a Technician named Corey arrived and quickly diagnosed the problem. He was able to control the leaking fluid, provide a safe environment and set us up for a proper repair that would fix our HVAC and make sure the work would be warranted. This was superior customer service, genuine care for our well being and a demonstration of how true professionals work. We will be utilizing their services for our future service needs. Thank you Madalyn and Corey and to the owners of East Coast who obviously have employed caring and qualified employees.As a follow up, Corey and another tech ( my apologies for forgetting her name) came back the day before Thanksgiving and completed a full repair on defective tubing from Heat pump to plenum. They worked quickly and effectively to get our system fully functioning for the upcoming holiday. Our heat is now functioning properly and it is great to have professionals who show up on time, are technically proficient and were most personable to talk with. I look forward to having them provide future services for regular and hopefully not to often emergency services. Just top notch from initial call to finalization of the job. East Coast rocks it.

The best best part is that by repairing my heater he saved me approx. 4000.00 dollars since that was the estimate that another company had given me because they said that the only solution was to replace the heater. Would recommend them highly for any electrical need.

Unfortunately I had to make a $2000 repair to my 5 year old Mitsubishi split system. The insulated copper lines that run from the outside unit to the indoor units were degrading due to an industry wide issue with the white insulation used at that that time. The white insulation material attacks the copper and causes leaks over time. The company that made this product is no longer in business so there is no way to seek compensation from them. The other issue I had was rodents gained access to the wires that run in the duct from the outdoor unit to the indoor units and chewed the wire. The opening at the end of the duct had not been sealed when initially installed. Throughout the process of repair the technicians were courteous and easy to work with. The service manager Eric was understanding of the unexpected circumstance and worked with me to cost share the expense of replacing all the lines. Although very unfortunate that this happened I thought East Coast was fair in resolving the issue. If you have the white insulated lines you should be aware of this issue and you may want to make sure the access to the wires in the trough are sealed with silicone and or steel wool.

Knowledgeable and great customer service! We live on the boarder of their service area and it was easy to become a new costumer! They scheduled us within 2 weeks and sent a message letting us know they were on their way. Also, received an email with a picture and info about the technician. Technician called when he was on his way and gave us an ETA. Arrived, explained what to expect and got right to work. He was here for about an hour or so. Took our A/C condenser covers off, cleaned out the entire condenser from rodents, insects, and a ton of animal debris. The unit was rinsed off too by a hose they provided! It looks Amazing! So clean and he also changed out wires that were destroyer by mice. The A/C area was cleaned also from any mess that he may have made… but it looks like he was never there! Very clean!! As follow-up to our 4 year old multiple zone heat pump system cooling failure the end of the summer of 2024 (reference earlier review), the temperary repair action of recharing the system only lasted a couple of weeks. The system obviously deloped a leak that was getting worse. East Coast HVAC responded within a couple of days, performed a leak check of the system and discovered the leak was in one of the indoor unit coils. After verifying the indoor unit was still under warranty, a budget cost and schedule were developed, assuming a new replacement indoor unit. The manufacturer later decided to supply a replacement coil, not a new indoor unit. Two weeks later, on coil delivery, the East Coast folks removed/rebuilt/reinstalled the indoor unit on site, leak checked, charged, and function tested the complete heat pump system. All this work was done at the original budget cost. I hope the extra labor costs incured by North East HVAC were covered by the manufacturer. The East coast staff, led by Ben, were fantastic executing the work with little disruption to my family, and were quite and clean as mice! I now know I could not be happier with any vender, than I am with East Coast HVAC.

They were extremely respectful of our home, our space, our two dogs, and went above and beyond to be thoughtful in how they worked because my wife and I work remotely from home. They even made it a point to ask, Is this a good time to run a power tool? It will be noisy for a few minutes. The team proactively communicated with us and educated us every step of the way. We appreciated that they cleaned up their work space at the end of the day and let us know what the plan for the next day was. Once installation was completed, the team took the time to explain how to operate the equipment. We were 100% comfortable with the entire process and would not hesitate to invite this team back into our home. Thank you!

Written Nov 2021 after first service:Corey is prompt, courteous, efficient, and willing to provide detailed explanations of what he is doing and what he recommends having done to have a more efficient heating system.Most recent experience with East Coast which required multiple visits over five weeks in Jan/Feb 2024:Weil McLain boiler is reaching the end of its life span after 21 yrs of service. Corey was able to diagnose the problem, install two new mini pumps (one which failed after one week and Corey replaced), order a new flue vent kit (kit arrived without a crucial gasket and that component had to be ordered which delayed installation) to replace the original which had a corroded seal leaking minute amounts of gas.Corey noticed more prominent smell of gas after installing new flue vent kit and decided to replace gaskets in other areas of boiler which required ordering more parts. Upon replacing those parts, he noticed a small hole in the bottom corner of the heat exchanger which he was able to patch. Voila, no more gas smell!Condensate pump failed to work the next day. Corey came back and fixed it and replaced the failed mini pump which wasnt circulating water to the baseboards.Always appreciate East Coast sending Corey to maintain the furnace and troubleshoot problems. He is extremely knowledgeable, courteous, patient with my questions, and meticulous. On several of his visits, he was accompanied by trainees and I can attest to the fact that he is a good teacher as well.Thanks to Madalyn and Brie for managing to make sure that Corey was scheduled to service the boiler so I knew I could go to work and leave my house in his trusted hands.Thank you very much for excellent service and persistence to fix the ensuing problems and get me through this winter safe and warm.

Its always such a gamble dealing with unfamiliar companies. They provided great customer service and professionalism from the very first contact through completion. He provided all the paperwork and information needed for my rebate. This company is A-1 and Id recommend them to anyone needing HVAC assistance.

They were on time, moved furniture and returned everything perfectly before leaving the job site. They also went the extra mile of putting down floor protection and even vacuumed! The electrician Matt Loomer did an out outstanding job of creatively placing the electrical lines making it attractive and efficient. Matt also took the time to clean up and reposition all items as he completed the job. East Coast installed Mitsubishi Electric Ductless HVAC in our home about two years ago. The system is fantastic. Our house is an odd 1970s construction, meaning that installation wasnt easy. But they nailed the installation. It was done professionally, cleanly, and promptly.After about a year, a part of the coolant line failed due to defective manufacturing. The East Coast team was here until they identified and solved the problem. Always kind, polite, knowledgeable, and persistent - they got to the bottom of the issue and replaced the defective part.They are clearly very serious about customer service - making sure their customers are happy. We highly recommend them.
