    Last week on Wed Nov 6 I called Griffin Mechanical to set up an appointment to have work done on a couple of outside spigots and a problematic line in the hallway bathroom. I was expecting an appointment to be scheduled for a day or two later, but they were able to send out a plumber immediately. Jessie was personable and efficient. He reviewed my concerns and surveyed the issues at hand and repairs were made expeditiously. My initial impression was that due diligence was done to ensure a terrific installation of the replacement items; they appeared to be of high quality. A week later I still feel the same. Kudos to Jesse for a job well done!

    Griffin Mechanical showed up and showed out!! They communicated efficiently the entire time. Ordered my mini split fast, scheduled me really quickly, and the price was very fair. The technicians were so polite and ON TIME! I have such trouble just getting people to show up on time! They worked quickly but well because my mini split works great and the outside work looks nice and clean! Super happy I chose them and cannot thank them enough!

    EXCELLENT COMPANY HIGHLY RECOMMENDED AND HERE IS WHY:Two years ago our heat went out in the middle of the coldest winter weekend of the year. Four local HVAC contractors either didn’t return our calls or failed to come after promising they were on their way.Griffin Mechanical returned my desperate call with 30 minutes and their on call technician was here within an hour. We were quite impressed. Parts had to be ordered so we spent a chilly weekend keeping warm with a fireplace and electric blankets. Monday morning Griffin sent someone to Nashville to get the parts and had the heat back on by noon.Last month our AC went out and a Griffin technician was here before the day was over. This time, however, our 27 year old heat pump needed extremely expensive repairs and we decided to replace it.Monday morning their sales rep was here, made his recommends and Thursday the new unit was installedwithin a few hours.THIS IS EXCELLENT SERVICE!The installers worked quickly and efficiently and cleaned up every bit of the old unit.The new unit is much quieter and moves more air thus cooling the entire house faster.We strongly recommend Griffin Mechanical for HVAC issues and I imagine their plumbing service is just as reliable. They are a pleasure to deal with.HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

    We have used Griffin Mechanical for approximately a year and a half They have taken care of our HVAC unit, scheduled checkups and one part replacement, and a couple of plumbing issues. On the HVAC part replacement I showed the tech my paperwork from the initial install by another company and it was discovered the part was under warranty. Even though Griffin didnt install the HVAC originally, they still covered the part under the factory warranty!! Cannot recommend this company enough!!Every employee we have dealt with, from the office staff to the techs, have all been friendly, knowledgeable and have taken care of us very well. Would HIGHLY recommend Griffin Mechanical!

    I requested an appointment with Griffin Mechanical and they were able to get me an appointment the next day. James was my technician. He was very kind, knowledgable and professional. My appointment was scheduled between 12pm and 2pm. He was able to come an hour before the appointment start time and was finished within 30 min. He showed me what was wrong with my mini split and fixed it. Quite reasonable pricing. I am very happy with my service. Would highly recommend and use again. Thank you so much.

    Such a great company! We called several places for estimates, most of which refused to service our unit due our location, or their prices were completely unreasonable... I called Griffin Mechanical and was transferred to Will. Will was very helpful and extremely knowledgeable. He tried to answer most of my questions over the phone but once we hit a roadblock, he came to our house the same day for a more accurate estimate.. After giving us a great price, he ordered our new unit and installed within a couple of days! I would recommend Griffin Mechanical to anyone looking for a great company!!

    Update to my earlier review. Had an issue in late Oct. 2018 with one of my units. I called and they were there to diagnose the problem within a few hours. Ordered the part and came back to put it in when they said they would. Any time they have given me a specific time that they would be there they have always been on time and treated me fairly. James is the service tech that I usually deal with and he as always been great.------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------I have been a customer of Griffin Mechanical for about 4 years now. They have always treated me fairly, promptly and courteously. I had an issue with one of my heating and air units 4 years ago and after they fixed my unit I signed up for the yearly maintenance plan. They call and schedule an appt. in the Spring and Fall for a check-up and cleaning of my units. They have always been on time and Ive not had any issues since starting the program.

    My wife and I moved from downtown Nashville to Dickson County and were accustomed to costly service calls and repairs, unreliable and sometimes shady technicians, and not-so-friendly customer service.     Technician James and his crew installed a new HVAC system in our home to replace an old one. They were knowledgeable, respectful and willing to answer questions. They did a thorough job and tested everything before they left to make sure all was in order.     My family has used Griffin Mechanical for years for our HVAC needs. They came within 2 hours the first time we ever called when our AC stopped working. They had it up and running in no time. We eventually had to replace our unit a couple of years ago and couldnt be more pleased with the new unit. They also perform twice yearly maintenance check ups to keep everything tiptop. The staff is friendly, professional, and dependable. Their prices are very reasonable. I highly recommend them!

    Excellent customer service and professional approach by office and tech staff! And very fair/competitive prices. They replaced one HVAC unit and provide ongoing service for all 3 units. They schedule preventive maintenance in advance and we dont have to remember to do so. And they dont try to sell us stuff we dont need. In this day of shoddy customer service, they are terrific and really stand out. Highly recommend them!

    I had a great experience with their HVAC tech who came to my moms house and fixed our thermostat problem and explained to us how to adjust properly.I also have to say their plumbing department is very helpful. I had someone come to my warehouse and check out the water heater. Patrick was very knowledgeable and told me it was time to get a new water heater as the one we have to leaking. He gave me options as to which one to get, explained which one would be suitable for the warehouse and I will have him come to fix it soon.Griffin Mechanical is a great company and I highly recommend them.     Amazing service, these guys are the best. Right at Christmas time we had heat pump problems, needed to replace the unit. I called Griffin and talked to Will... he was here within 2 hours assessing the job. He quoted us a price well within our budget.By 10 am the next morning Decker arrived with our new heat pump. It was installed and the job finished within 24 hours of my initial call. Where can you find that kind of service? And reasonably priced too.

    Griffin Mechanical is the most professional team of caring people we have ever used. Thats saying a lot since we have owned several homes in Middle Tennessee; used many of the different service companies around.     Will and the team at Griffin Mechanical took great care of us after my 1970s unit finally bit the dust. My wife was pregnant and it was getting hot out so this was not ideal timing. The guys were very respectful of my wishes and helped me size the system to add some ducts where needed. I changed where the air handler and condenser lived and it was not an issue for them. I am a construction worker, Im particular about my house and want things done right. They not only did a great job, but they were friendly.Recently they called ME to set up a free service call to check the system and made sure we were tip top. Thats right, I didnt have to call them. Now thats customer service.I told them to install Nest thermostat so I can test it for work, and I dont love it. They are going to come back out and put a regular one in. The tech tried to tell me but I was insisting for test reasoning.HVAC is expensive, so spend your money with the professional people at Griffin Mechanical. I do A/V work and appreciate the same care I give on my house.

    Truly outstanding service . Extremely honest people. I had to do an after hour service call during the weekend and the technician came on time and changed the starter which was burned and fixed the issues with less than $200. Another company told me that changing the part was over $3000 and suggested that I buy a $6500 unit from them instead. Griffin Mechanical never said that to me . All their technicians recommended that I keep the until because it was working perfectly fine. They are very honest and they wont mislead you. I highly recommend this company.

    Weve live in Dickson, TN for 25 years and in that time weve used 4 different heating and air specialist. All of them were a major disappointment and two of them have since gone out of business if that tells you anything.Recently we replaced one of the heating and air units at our home and after two local friends recommended Griffin Mechanical we called to get an estimate. At that point we already had 4 other estimates from other well known companies. Because of their reputation we chose Griffin and we are glad we did. They are very nice to deal with, trustworthy, very professional and spent more time helping us choose a system with specs and features that would best suit our needs. Of the 5 estimates we got they were very competitive in terms of price and and less than the two highest estimates.

    I had my AC unit go out and Griffin responded promptly. It ended up being a small part that failed but they could have easily told me I needed an entire AC unit and I wouldnt have know the difference. They are honest and do great work.     We called and they came within an hour. James, our technician, was courteous and conscientious. He went the extra mile to find our part within reasonable driving distance to expedite repair rather than ordering since we were on day 3 with no heat during major cold snap with nights in the 20 degree range. He even stayed around and restarted system several times to make sure the repair was done correctly. The call center handled our call with courtesy and care. I can’t say enough good.     I have a home in Brentwood and several rental properties in Nashville. I reached out to Griffin Mechanical for servicing on all of my HVAC units during the hottest part of the year. I was amazed that Griffin Mechanical was able to schedule servicing of all of my units within a week of my initial contact. The service was just right, and the price was incredibly reasonable. They talked to me in language I could understand and did not pressure me into buying parts or units that I do not need yet. I trust them and would highly recommend you give them a call.

    Super easy and happy to work with folk at Griffin Mechanical. When I call theyre friendly and professional. Im tired of calling local businesses and getting someone who picks up the phone and just says ya?. The folks at Griffin actually have people skills, and are friendly which is wonderful! I signed up for their annual service subscription dealy-bob... otherwise Id put off calling and ultimately forget, so this is good, plus I think being on the subscription gets a discount on repairs. Theyre professional when they come out, are proactively conscientious of keeping your floors clean, and have been quick to fix my one problem that has arisen since using their services. They do not spend a lot of $$$ on advertising or slick materials, just on service and equipment - which means they actually do pass on the savings to you. In getting estimates from the big names and then calling Will Hicks at Griffin, I always save literally a thousand or more dollars.     There are not enough words to adequately express my appreciation for Griffin Mechanical. My husband and I were in a bind with the HVAC system in our new home being installed incorrectly. Will, with Griffin, came out the same day to assess the damage and Derek, the general manager, was able to squeeze our job in within days of the initial assessment. Their crew is currently installing our HVAC system properly in the sweltering 90 degree humidity. Griffin Mechanical is one of the gems of Dickson County.

    I requested service on my unit due to my heat being out at 3pm on a Friday. I fully expected to have to wait until the beggining of the next week to get my unit serviced. By 3:30pm the service manager, Will, was at my house to service my unit! He fixed it quickly and at a fair price. I was pleased. Whatsmore, he knew that I wanted to know what was going on with the unit. He educated me on how the unit operated, why it was not working, and what he was doing to fix it. Great experience!

    Heard great things about this company so decided to try them out. Signed up for an annual service checkup and was pleased with the results. I was worried about my aging HVAC unit and feared I would get an expensive recommendation. The technician was friendly and knowledgeable but (thankfully) not a sales person. He pointed out some parts that were old, but still had plenty of life in them. If they were all about up-selling, Im sure I would have gotten a laundry list of things to replace. Definitely will stick with them.

    Griffin Mechanical has done great work us ever since we moved here. We had two aging AC units when we moved in and as we asked around for recommendations of who to use, we figured we give them a try. After our old 2.5 ton unit was upgraded to a 3.5 ton unit and new duct work (old system ran high pressure under the crawl space -- never seen anything like it), service calls, warranty work, etc. weve always been pleased with their work and Wills response. We have had the brief pleasure of trying the smilier company at our house for plumbing and HVAC service and it didnt take long to figure out we were paying more for fancy advertising and within hours response. Instead of an overly bad review for them, Id rather point my money to the better company. When our 2nd old unit finally goes, theres no question Griffin will get the job.
