    The owner Marc gave the best quote out of 4 companies. They did the roof on my house with a rear addition and my garage started at 8 am and finished at 3:30 pm. They did a great job and it was hot !! 95 degrees. I am very pleased no nonsense workers and company. I would highly suggest this company if you need work done on your house AAAA++++++

    Me and my wife had a leak in our corridor. At first we thought it was the roof. Then we figured it was the gutters. We called Motor City Home Improvement and they immediately realized we had a hole in our trim, maybe from animals. We decided to get that fixed as well as a new gutter system. Their prices were reasonable and they were punctual and professional. We would definitely recommend.

    I moved into a new home where our home inspector had pointed out that whoever had installed the new roof failed to install flashing.I gave Mark a call and he came out quickly and provided a very reasonable estimate. Within 2 days, my house was reflashed by a highly professional crew that cared about the quality of workmanship.I had a couple of very minor issues that they came back out to correct without complaint or defense. This is a sign of a good contractor I will continue to work with because many will take your money and run regardless of how you feel about the work performed. Not these guys—they weren’t happy until I was happy.I will absolutely be doing business with Motor City again!

    Mark and Motor City have handled a number of roof replacements in our sub and all residents have said you wont find anyone better.When I needed a new roof, I immediately called Mark and I wasnt sorry.Professional, on time, answered and returned calls, detailed, focused, fair priced and completed the job in no time.Roofing isnt cheap, but you get what you pay for, I wouldnt hesitate for a minute to call them again or recommend!

    Im very satisfied with my gutter repair. The price quoted was exactly what I paid. A very good price 👍🏽. Conversation over the phone was professional. It was so cool to watch them make the new gutter right from the truck. Lol I was wondering how they were going to replace my gutter that was longer than their truck.     A couple of days ago, I could hear racoons in my bedroom crawlspace when they started to spread into my hallway and front room. I thought they were coming through my gutter which were getting loose. I read the previous good reviews on Google and contacted them. Mark sent Sean out to my house, and he immediately found that I had a hole in my roof which they were entering my home. Sean tightened my gutters and then repaired my roof. He was very professional as well as nice that I felt comfortable with him. He was finished in less than an hour and charged a fair price. I will definitely contact Motor City and Sean to come out in the spring to replace gutters. I was so impressed with their professionalism that when my mailman was delivering mail, he definitely took Seans business card for work on his home.

    Great service! I needed a small soffit and siding repair and called for a quote. Mark came over and examined the work and noted that the soffit gap might mean animals made their way into my attic. He offered to go into my attic and poke around to see if there was any evidence - definitely did not expect him to go above and beyond like that, but was deeply grateful (and luckily no animals were found 😅). As a new home owner he also gave me a little overview of what would need fixing, the names of various parts etc. As someone who is actively learning, I appreciated the extra intel. After providing a reasonable quote, Mark had someone come out quickly. The gentlemen was on time, did the repair well and quickly. Will definitely use them again the future!

    I called Mark and.told him I needed soffits, facias, and gutters on my home ASAP! He came out even though he had workers on another job to give me an assessment.     One evening I came home from work and heard a noise coming from the inside of my fireplace. Terrified of what it could be, I cautiously approached the fireplace with my flashlight and screamed when a saw squirrel!I googled emergency 24 hour chimney repair and Motor City Home Improvement was the top search result.I hysterically explained my situation to Mark. Due to the late hour of my call, Mark wasnt sure if his crew would be able to come to my house until the morning. I understood, but minutes later, Mark called back and told me he was on his way because he did not want me to worry.Mark and Frank smoked the squirrel out of the fireplace and assessed the chimney for damages.From my initial call with Mark, he showed professionalism, kindness, concern and compassion and made me feel comfortable about the work his team was to complete.     The owner was very informative about the type of gutters that would be needed for my steep roof. Shawn, the installer did an excellent job removing and replacing the gutters. The day after the gutters were replaced we had an extremely hard dowpouring of rain. I walked around the house checking all the gutters and no water was pouring over the gutters which was an excellent sign that they had been properly placed. The price given to me was a few hundred beyond what I had but the owner dropped the price to what I could afford. I highly recommend this company and I will be calling again to have them tuck point my bricks. Barbara

    Motor City Home Improvement was doing some work on a neighbors home and I asked them to see me when they were done. They quoted pricing for gutters on our garage and also for repairs to the chimney, which was in pretty bad shape. They came out on the hottest Tuesday I can remember and worked all day; Sean doing the gutters on the garage and Frank on the roof working on the chimney. I strongly recommend this company, the pricing was fair, the staff amazing and they clean up after themselves (a big plus for me).     Mark is a remarkable person with an excellent crew. I needed new gutters installed around my house and his crew came out on 6/12/21, Sean (Shawn) and the other crew members were on time and performed the installation in an excellent and proficient manner. On 10/19/21, I noticed that one of the kick-out spouts was detached and I suspected it was caused by a lawn mower. Mark sent Sean to replace it the NEXT day, free of charge.     We rarely write reviews but in this case we had to. We called to get an estimate on a roof, chimney work and gutters. The owner (Mark) personally came out to give us a quote. He measured, assessed and gave us suggestions which was very helpful. He answered all of our questions (and we had a lot lol). He is very competitively priced compared to other companies. We scheduled to have the work done and we are EXTREMELY happy with the service, the professionalism, respectfullness and the efficiency of all members of his team.     Mark and his team did a great job replacing our gutters. I called Mark to get a quote on replacing my gutters. Mark was nearby so he came over right over after talking to him. The price was very fair . He told me on Friday that his crew would install the gutters on Wednesday of next week; however, he called me back on Saturday and said that he could fit me in on Monday.     The work was preformed on time and completed as promised!!! The masonry work was excellent and match in color with rest of the house!! The roof repair completely stopped a really bad leak.     I have used Motor City for a few different repair jobs over the years. They have done an excellent job repairing my chimney and a couple roof leaks. I decided to take the plunge and replace my entire roof and gutters. Of course, Motor City was one of the companies from which I requested a quote. The price they quoted was very reasonable. The entire job took a bit longer than originally quoted - 4 days rather than 2 - due to inclement weather and the holidays. While there were a couple of small hiccups along the process, Mark was extremely communicative throughout the entire process and personally ensured my satisfaction. Marks commitment to customer satisfaction is second to none. In fact, Mark would not accept payment until the job was completed to my satisfaction. I highly recommend Motor City for all your chimney and roofing needs.

    My experience with Motor City was great! And only took a couple of days. I called Mark on Saturday, and he came to look at the house the same day. By Monday we were signing the contract and by Tuesday all the work was finished and complete! I got the gutters, and downspouts replaced along with a new fascia board and new gable trim!     Mark from Motor City Home Improvement installed gutters at my mothers home in Detroit. She had been without gutters for about 10 years due to another company leaving in the middle of the job. A lot of the wood around her house was damaged because of the lack of gutters. Mark replaced the damaged wood and installed new gutters. My mothers house has a curve to it so he had to install the gutters around the curve which he did very well. He and his team was professional, on time and were very easy to work with.

    OMG!!! These are the first words I said when I saw the roof on my moms home. It is now the best roof on Piedmont and West Chicago. It made the house look like a brand new spanking home. I thought it would have taken at least two weeks to have this job completed, and when I found out it was completed in a day, I almost passed out. There is no way you can tell me this company was able to remove three layers of shingles, replace old gutters with new, and put on a new roof in a day...impossible, at least thats what I thought. They cleaned as they worked, provided good company, and was very professional with meeting my moms roofing needs. Im ready to go home and tear my roof off, to only have it completed again by this company. Good work, and I wish I would have known about this company at the time I had my roof replaced three years ago.

    I had a serious problem with chimney not venting properly after a masonry repair done by others two years ago. Extensive water damage in plaster resulted on both upper and lower floors of my house. Solution was to remove and replace chimney liner, flue above roof line, new cap and vent, replace all ducts to vent furnace and water heater up chimney. Motor City also replaced damaged brick above roof line and reinstalled flashing at roof line. Crew led by Frank arrived on day promised and showed determination to get all work done in one day despite encountering some odd features in the construction of flues in my 100+ year old chimney.     The gentleman met with me promptly at the time specified and didnt try to sell me something that I didnt need! As it turned out I just needed to build up the area near the foundation and get positive drainage! Didnt need to spend money on new gutters at all.     We had two amazing professionals named Sean and Tim come repair our roof and lay clean looking step and counter flashing around two chimneys. They also educated us on a product we can use to do some minor repairs ourselves and recommended a local store to buy it at. They did a wonderful job.I needed their services again and called their number. I spoke with the owner, Mark. He is very warm, professional, and friendly.I needed to have a portion of my gutter replaced that was knocked out by ice last winter. I also needed to have some cement tuck pointing done on various portions of my 90-year-old home.They matched the color of my gutters perfectly and did a great job with installation. They also did some additional work that I didnt notice and included it for no extra charge. The tuck pointing was an amazing job and made my home look great again.Mark and his crew are very reasonably priced and do a great job. I highly recommend them.
