    I have used Green Tech plumbing for a few plumbing jobs and every time the work is done well and in a timely manner. This most recent job was bigger, required swapping out our water heater, replacing a sump pump and adding a battery back up, swapping out our original 1940s cement laundry tub, and some other odds and ends. Cesar and Richie were both top notch: courteous and professional and obviously very knowledgeable and competent plumbers. Thoroughly satisfied customer!

    Look no further for all your plumbing needs! I cant say enough good things about this company that weve been using for years. They are friendly, their staff is knowledgeable, they are honest, fair, and they offer high quality work. You will NOT be disappointed. You CAN get same day appointments, call them early, and they are on time! Excellent customer service and I would give them 10 stars if I could. I have never had an issue, and weve used them many times over 7 years.

    I asked a bunch of friend do you know a good plumber. ONLY ONE person could give me a name of someone her brother used. Green Tech Plumbing is now stored in my phone as my place to go for plumbing. So when Im asked about plumbing I can say I know first hand of a great place that is reliable, gives excellent service, great price and nice employees. Cesar D. was awesome!     We had a hot water heater fail over the July 4th weekend, called GreenTech and talked to a plumber and was able to schedule for the following Monday, with the option of an emergency service visit over the weekend. Cesar and Craig visited on time with a text 15 min before they arrived. Both were courteous and respectful and did a great and clean job. Weve used Green Tech several times over the past few years and every employee that Ive talked to or has visited our home has been great. The best in the area.

    Our sewer collapsed because it was poorly installed by the previous owner (and the cheap company they used). Water backed up in the basement right away.Green Tech sent a great technician to check it out the next day. He figured out the problem. 2 days later brought a 5 man crew to fix it They were in exactly at 8am, the appointed time, put in a whole new cleanout and passed inspection with flying colors by 3pm.They were smart, polite, and professional.I highly recommend Green Tech!

    I needed the toilets swapped out in two bathrooms. Greentech responded quickly to my call. Their guy Nick showed up on time, did the job quickly and efficiently, and left the work area spotless - all at a reasonable price. I’ve used them before and their service has always been top-notch.     Nick has helped with plumbing at our new house a few times and hes incredible! He went above and beyond by checking several different stores for better prices for us (we needed a new faucet) and kept us in the loop on his search progress.     Green Tech plumbing came highly recommended as a reputable company who does not rip people off, but rather treats them fairly and does not push work that does not need to be done. My 81 year old mother had a sewer back-up and called another company that tried to recommend a substantial amount of work. We called Green Tech to come out to give a second opinion on the state of the sanitary drain situation. Green Tech was responsive, and provided a scheduled time as opposed to a wait for an opening approach. They sent Ceasar (CJ) out to do a camera inspection of the entire drain system. CJ was courteous, professional and thorough. He went above and beyond to diagnose the situation and offered practical suggestions with options to maximize the health and performance of the system. He then went to great lengths to manage his time wisely and clean-up afterwards. We did not feel the least bid over-sold and now have peace of mind that Green Tech is able to provide the most appropriate solution to repair a 55-year-old system. Drain problems are among the most nerve-wracking situations a homeowner can face because of all the uncertainty. Green Tech is our choice to put those worries to rest.

    Our shower started backing up and I couldnt fix it so we called Green Tech, who the in-laws have always trusted with their pipes. They came out within a few hours, at the time they said theyd be here.Has that ever happened before? Not for me! Im used to getting an appointment sometime between 9AM and 3PM several months from now.I wish I had gotten the plumbers name, but he was courteous and went straight to work. Within 20 minutes the problem was fixed and he was gone. Amazing! No suggestions for thousands of dollars in repairs and replacement, no I dont have the parts, Ill have to come back.Awesome.

    Our water filter under our sink started leaking unexpectedly in the middle of the day. This caused water damage under my sink and inability for us to use our kitchen sink in order to not cause further damage to our cabinetry. I was working with another company who was horrible and Green Tech came to the rescue! They were prompt in response via phone and email! My plumbing repairs in the end were not major, however for someone like me with no insight into plumbing, their advice, professionalism, and quality work in a timely manner was wonderful. Since they seemed reliable and reasonably priced I decided to change my faucet fixtures at the same time and they got that done quickly as well. I highly recommend them and know if I have a small or big project in the future - they will be who I call.

    I can definitively say Mark and the team at Green Tech are the most professional and reasonable plumbers I have worked with. Mark was able to quickly assess an issue we had with our plumbing and guide us towards reasonable and long lasting fixes. I have worked with other five star companies who charged an extraordinarily high rate and pressured us into work, when looking back, we did not need. My only regret is not calling Green Tech sooner!

    I have used Green Tech for three plumbing emergencies in my house. A broken pipe leaking into my family room, tree roots causing backup on my main floor and a broken sump pump. Each time they have been prompt, friendly and trustworthy.The most recent experience however sets them apart. Sunday night we got several inches of rain and my sump pump failed. It was almost 11PM and I called Green Tech. Kevin immediately called me back and had me send him pictures of the pump. He then stayed on the phone with me while he talked me through a temporary fix saving my basement. This was so far above and beyond anything I expected.He told me because of the storms the company was overbooked with appointments and it might be a few days to get someone out to replace the pump. Yet at 7:45 the next morning, Ryan showed up at my door, new pump ready to go. These guys are honest, hard working and really dedicated to their customers and it shows. They have earned my loyalty time and time again and I wouldnt consider calling anyone else in an emergency.

    We have used Green Tech for three years now. Each team member is very knowledgeable and communicates with us before doing any work. They rod our line every year and do our annual back flow test.     Kevin and his crew are literally the most professional men I have ever dealt with. I had an overhead sewer installed and didn’t have a single hiccup. As a Chicago licensed, bonded, and insured plumber a customer does not have to worry about any work being compliant with the code or any inspection work before or after work has been completed. Kevin gave us ample time to prepare for inspection and worked around our schedule to ensure we were 100% compliant. I wouldn’t send anyone anywhere else. His prices were right on par or less than 4 other competitors in the area. It was his promptness at calling me back, preparedness, and schedule that made it an easy fit for me.     We’ve had Green Tech Plumbing come to the rescue a few times at our rental properties and at our primary residence. They have helped us with clogged sinks, tubs and installed a couple of water heaters. It is so easy to schedule an appointment with them, sometimes with little notice. They are always punctual, professional and are always able to diagnose the issue and give us options in order to resolve . We couldn’t ask for a better Plumbing company to turn to.     Called Green Tech in a panic with a badly clogged toilet and coincidentally a leaking pipe in our sump pump pit. It was after hours and Kevin calmed me down and gave me a few options to save us the added cost of having an emergency appointment. He promised to have a plumber out first thing the next morning and sure enough, Ryan showed up at about 7:30am!He had our repairs finished within an hour and we couldnt be happier with the service and professionalism of both Kevin and Ryan.     I used Green Tech for a very large project at my new home. From the first consultation through the end of the project, every person I worked with from Green Tech was professional, knowledgeable, and courteous. They took the extra time to first educate me on how sewer systems work, explained in detail what issues they found and how they planned on fixing them, and answered all my questions along the way.With a project of this size, I did get multiple quotes and second opinions just to be safe. Not only did other companies confirm Green Tech’s diagnosis, but most could either not handle the full scope of the project or came in at a much higher cost.When it came to the actual work they performed, everything was top notch and honestly exceeded my expectations. They scoped my sewer, diagnosed the problems, pulled the necessary permits, dealt with the city and it’s inspectors, excavated my lawn, repaired and replaced piping, rodded out certain parts, fixed my connection to the city’s main, worked on and repaired the foundation, installed pumps and battery back ups, and restored everything afterwards.When they were finished, they had solved my problem, given me peace of mind that I would not have more issues in the future, and restored everything to what it looked like before. They did all this while coming in under budget.I would highly recommend Green Tech to friends and family, and will be using them again in the future.

I used Green Tech for a second opinion with a malfunctioning flood control system when the original installer was unable to identify the cause of the issue.     After getting two very sketchy estimates from two other plumbers, we called GreenTech on the recommendation from a friend, and we couldnt have been happier! The two previous companies told us that our sewer pipe was broken or crushed and needed a $6000 repair (which would require an 8 deep trench and removal of a Japanese maple tree). However, when GreenTech came out, they took their time to do a very deep and thorough cleaning (rodding) of our old sewer line - removing LOTS of roots to clear it. They didnt find a break in the line but recommended rodding every 12-18 months as regular maintenance. We will only be using GreenTech for all of our future plumbing needs based on their expertise, honesty, hard work, and fair pricing. We thank them for their efforts (Kevin, Tim, Kyle, Josh, and Bill) and for saving us from a $6000 unnecessary repair!

    My sewer was was absolutely clogged with roots and I was looking for local plumbers in the Park Ridge are and so I found GreenTech right away.     Called GreenTech at 2:00pm-ish on a Thursday and was set up with an 8:00am appointment for Friday morning to scope out our sewer line. The individual on the phone was pleasant and knowledgeable and was able to settle some of my anxieties. The technician, Mark, on Friday morning showed up on time following all CDC guidelines. Mark too, was very knowledgeable. After assessing and evaluating the interior of the home and running a few small tests to verify the sewer layout he got right to work scoping the sewer. He did an initial evaluation of the sewer and then did it again and recorded a video of the second run. On the second run Mark narrated the camera view. I was also provided a thumb drive of the narration and video of the sewer scope. Was very impressed with the thoroughness of the service and the fact I got a record of what we can’t see underground.

    After getting water in my basement last spring I asked three different plumbing companies to come out and give me their thoughts on a solution. The first two just tried the easy fix of routing out the drain pipe to the sumpump and left within an hour. When the next heavy rain came we got water again.     Every winter the big old maple tree in front sends its sap down into the roots and some of those roots grow into our sewer line, which means a clean-out every January or February.
