I called Rewired for some simple lighting to be changed out. Even though it was a small job, they came right out. Upon further inspection, I learned that my house was not grounded properly. There was no ground at all, which means it is at risk for spontaneous fire. Lightning strike, etc. John knew his stuff. Did not recommend any additional fixes beyond the safety issues that he found. This house was built originally in 1963. So of course, the wiring is not up to code and that’s not a problem except for real safety issues. I’m thankful I called this person. I was Given a reasonable quote. The work will be completed in just a couple of days. I would confidently recommend this company to anyone Especially my friends and family.

Wow, an all around amazing experience and great people! I spoke with Hillary about some electrical work that needed to be done, and was able to immediately get scheduled in with John. Id like to start off stating I live in an older home and every project I start something seems to go a wry. My project took two days since I had several labor intensive items.Rewired Iowa had competitive reasonable pricing. Every item in my project was explained in laymans terms what they would do for installation. The day of my appointments I received a call when the electricians were on their way. When they arrived, they were polite, respectful, and explained what theyd be tackling for the day. I was given a heads up when they was going to be a brief outage so that I was able to save my work. A giant thanks to Dominic, Frank, Jeremy and Logan. I highly recommend Rewired Iowa. I will be using them on my next electrical project.

Absolutely fantastic experience - we hired them to do a variety of jobs, from new outlets to new circuits to new ceiling lights. In each case, they first made sure they knew what we were trying to accomplish (not just what we said we wanted), explained how they could do that (and proposing better solutions than we had in mind in a couple cases), then went and got it done.We will absolutely hire them again next time we need electrical work done, and will explicitly ask for the same team (Nate and Brian, if my terrible memory for names isn’t letting me down).

I have to say that Jon did an amazing Job when he came out to quote some work we needed done. He was not pushy in any way, and very honest. During the quote he found a potentially very bad fire hazard and took care of it on the spot. Due to his honesty, experience, down to earth attitude, I hired them on the spot to do the work. And trust me, ill be having them back to do more!

The initial response from this company was quick and thorough and John did a really good job analyzing everything, very knowledgeable explained it.He found the problem that other electricians overlooked. We were extremely happy with his diagnosis and solution. He promised he would get it done quickly and they did they had to work with the power company to resolve issues. Trees had to be trimmed. It was all done in a timely professional way!Customer service office is super friendly, they answer their phone right away in a courteous manner.Frank and Eddie were the electricians that did the job and I would give them a 10 star rating. There are not enough good words to share for Rewired of Iowa. Had a perplexing issue that Jon came out to diagnose right away when I called.Immediately realized my breaker box was a danger with melted wires, burn marks etc. Discussed in detail the fix and the other fixes that needed to be done to get things to code to replace my 100 Amp service. I went with a 200 Amp replacement service.This company did everything they said they would do..a bit more....and when they said they would do it. Todd, Ron, Nate, Heddie, and Frank did the actual work. They were on time, polite, kind, neat, and very helpful. Answered my barage of questions and did not make me feel unintelligent as some other companies have done.Jon ended up having to come back out and scope a second issue. Again everything they needed to do was done promptly and reasonably priced.I will need to have them back at least three more times to do some work after the tornado and a couple other projects.Rewired has earned and become my choice of electricians. I hope they will become yours as they deserve your work

Rewired Iowa installed two outside outlets for me. One on my deck and the other for an above ground pool. Todd did a great job installing the outlet on the deck and doing the work on the electrical box, inside the house. Todd and Logan worked all day grounding the pool. But Jeremy gets the MVP! He manually dug a 12 trench about 20 long (the machine was being used at another location)! They were all knowledgeable but most importantly, kind. Thank you all!

He checked all of our electric, and came to the conclusion that the cause of the power problem was a ceiling fan in a bedroom. There was a bad wire. Dominic was very pleasant, friendly, and very knowledgeable at his job. We will be recommending Dominic and Rewired for future jobs that we want done.

I was not happy initially with the work. My house needed the electrical panel to be replaced, move the meter outside from the basement and bring the house up to code. First city inspection failed beacuse one of the techs didnt check his work and made sure the house is ready for the inspection. The company were made aware and fixed the situation, specifically Dominic. He went above and beyond to complete the work and get the house ready. He had to leave other jobs and get my house work completed on 2 seperate days. Dominics work eithics is commendable and I highly recommend Rewired Iowa. My house had finally passed city inspection.

We decided to try another electrical company to see if better “rate” and more “seasoned” service. Front desk quickly scheduled Jon for next day to review scope and provide estimate. Estimate was fair so we signed. Work scheduled next day. 2-member team came up with an issue—no metal boxes behind exterior lights. So project expanded based on their recommendation. They are all about “ doing it right.” And, at a reasonable rate. So in 5-6 hours they had siding cut, boxes installed and new lights up. It looks great! I’m confident they’ll stand behind their service. And they have a Senior/Military discount which always helps. Highly recommend going with this fairly newly established company.

Jon, the project manager, came out to our home today to quote some potential work. From the moment he stepped into our house, he radiated sunshine, passion and enthusiasm for his craft. He listened intently to our desires, gave great suggestions, helped us plan out the scope of what we wanted in terms of adding some recessed lighting and updating our current recessed lighting. One can tell that Jon loves what he does and that was a breath of fresh air! In the context of our discussion, we let him know that we werent sure why our doorbell was not working and he was able to determine that it was probably our transformer. He also noted that our CSST was not bonded (apparently the inspector we had for home inspection missed this - ugh!) and he explained why the current code exists (thank you Jon for letting us know about this). Jons expertise and thoroughness, fairness in pricing as well as the companys 5 yr. warranty on parts & labor is why we decided to have Rewired Iowa do our project.Jon, you are delightful and it was great working things out with you for our upcoming project. Let me just say, we are so grateful for Rewired Iowa and their team, all of whom helped us with our home project. Our front room had an outlet that was hardwired to a third switch. Rewired, LLC converted that switch from the outlet to four ceiling wafer lights with a dimmer. We are so excited to be able to have guests over to enjoy our newly renovated space with the perfect lighting.When we called to set up a appointment, the receptionist was polite and courteous. She work efficiently to get a representative out to us. The representative was knowledgeable and broke down the estimate for us and gave us a outline of the project. We accepted their bid because it fell within our budget and we felt pricing was reasonable for the materials and cost of time and labor.The project from start to finish was fast paced and we felt well informed every step of the way. The receptionist gave us a call the day after we accepted the bid and was able to set up a time to commence the work order the next day after the set up call. The electrician team worked together and was able to finish the project effectively and efficiently. They were respectful and listen to us when we explained our plans for the room. They were able to pivot when the layout had to be changed due to a minor set back with the wall spacing. They gave us multiple options, included our opinions on every available option. They cleaned up afterwards and ensured we were happy with the work before they packed up their gear.Highly recommended for your next project!

I contacted Rewired based on their Google Guarantee, and I chose right. Project Manager Jon came over and I told him I wanted to install an outside plug. After Jon looked at my circuit panel (Which was brand new and installed by the previous owner 7 months ago), he immediately noticed several safety and code violations. Jon told me what I needed to fix the panel and gave me the information to call the original company who installed it to fix it, which they are. Very honest and friendly company.

Unfortunately the sales clerk at the big box store gave us the wrong wall switch so we had to return it. John looked up the exact piece needed, sent to my phone and we went to another store and purchased. So on the second try at installation John hit the switch and the fan was defective. Another trip to the BB store for a replacement. Three times was the charm because the switch and fan are working just great! Upon buying a new house i ended up very disappointed cooking my first couple meals. Rewired electric came out and has me back to complete happiness. My kitchen breakers were popping and no sockets had the third prong hole. I had heard good things in the community so I decided to try them out. Aisha was so patient in my scramble of words not knowing what I was talking about she was able to reiterate my mess and got it spot on. John then came out and gave me a steal of a quote we now can cook with multiple air fryers and instapot at once and our cords no longer fall out of socket.
